How To Get Your Spark Back FAST (3 Simple Steps)

In this solo motivational video, the presenter guides viewers through a three‑step framework designed to pull them out of a rut and restore their inner spark. The video opens with a call to decide that today is the turning point, then moves into the first step – Regulate – which explains how chronic nervous‑system dysregulation (fight/flight/freeze/fawn) fuels negative thinking and disengagement. The host demonstrates a brief alternate‑nostril breathwork exercise, emphasizing awareness of the body as the gateway to safety signaling. The second step – Release – addresses the internal battle of self‑judgment and resentment toward others. Through a short heart‑centered forgiveness meditation, the speaker encourages self‑compassion, shadow/parts work, and forgiveness of others as a way to reclaim creative energy. The final step – Realign – helps viewers identify their core values, prioritize them, and restructure daily habits (morning routines, reading, connection) to match those values, using practical tools like value‑ranking questions and AI‑assisted clarification. Personal anecdotes (the presenter’s own dysregulation episodes, the dog Skye’s fight‑or‑flight triggers) and references to the “Cosmic Creators” community provide credibility. The overall message is that by deciding to change, regulating the nervous system, releasing held‑back emotions, and realigning with true values, anyone can quickly regain motivation, clarity, and a magnetic sense of self.

Once upon a time, you were inspired, you were motivated, you were locked in, working on your goals, feeling good, feeling energized, feeling confident. But all of a sudden, something happened and you started getting distracted, getting disconnected, feeling tired, losing energy. And now maybe your days look like procrastinating, doom scrolling, not working towards your goals. And you're wondering, will I ever get back to that place that I was at before? You can get back to that place. I am no stranger to a rut, my friend. I have been in countless amount of ruts. I've thought to myself time and time again, how am I going to get back to where I was before? And will I even get back to where I was before? You can pull yourself out of the lowest lows. There's people who've been in lower lows than you are in right now who've pulled themselves up to the Best, most empowered places. If they can do it, so can you. I'm going to be sharing with you today three really simple steps to get your spark back, to pull you out of this rut and get you feeling like your most magnetic, most aligned self again, or for the first time if you've never felt like that before. And these are not going to be wishy-washy steps. Like these are serious, practical, tangible things that you can do. Today on this video, we're going to do one of the exercises actually together on this video. And I just want to give you a little bit of like reassurance. I've seen people go through this transformation again and again inside my membership in school in Cosmic Creators. I've seen people come in there and say, I feel disconnected, I feel burnt out, I feel hopeless, I don't even know what my goals are. And within a week of working on themselves and applying themselves to certain practices, some of which I'm going to be sharing with you today, their whole energy shifts, their whole perspective shifts, and they're able to finally align with that higher version of them that they always knew was there deep down inside. So nothing brings me more joy than to see people do that and to see people finally come out of a rut and come into their power. And I just want to reassure you, if it's possible for other people, it is possible for you. So we're gonna kick this video off before we get into the steps with a decision. Decide that today is the turning point. And you don't need to go from feeling really drained and really low and uninspired to feeling like your most inspired self today. No. But if you make a decision that you're going to start changing your energy today, that you're gonna start leaving this old story of I'm stuck, I'm lost behind you, then the wheels will be set in motion and you'll be able to look back in maybe a week's time, 2 weeks, a month, and see that this was the moment, this was the day that everything actually did start to change for you. So make the decision. Decide you are moving away from the old narrative. Okay, step 1 to getting out of your rut is to regulate. Okay, this is the first step for a reason. Regulation is the first step for a reason. If you're stuck in cycles of negative thinking and no amount of trying to look at the positives is working, it's likely because you are in a survival state in your nervous system. You're in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn, or a combination of all of those states in your nervous system, which you might be thinking, that doesn't sound like me, but that's actually normal in this modern world to be in a chronic state, prolonged state of dysregulation in the nervous system is normal. Why? Because we're so distracted. So when something happens that's stressful, a lot of the times we don't actually resolve that stressful thing in the moment, and we end up bringing it with us, and we end up scrolling, numbing in different ways through food, through other vices, whatever it is. And so we don't actually feel and process the distress. It stays in our body, and then our body stays in distress. But More than that, what happens in dysregulation is we end up disconnected. Our awareness ends up outside of the body, and our perspective stays focused on things that are bad, negative, or threatening because our body thinks we're in danger. Okay, so if you were in the wild in survival mode, like actually you were in survival mode because you were in the wild, so you needed to like fend for your life out in, out in the forest or something, you wouldn't be like taking in the beauty of the flowers. You'd be scanning for like sounds and signs of predators or threats in your environment because you're in survival mode. It's the same thing actually now in this modern world, but instead of us picking up on like a bear approaching us, we pick up on any little negative potential in the field, and we cannot perceive or pick up on the positives. the more expansive things. So if you've been stuck in spirals of negative thinking, or you just feel so uninspired or disconnected and you can't seem to shift that, go to the body and go to the nervous system first. I remember my biggest lesson with this, and when I really woke up to this, was I had a lot of seasons of purging, and I had to do a lot of shadow work, and I had different triggers coming up. The more kind of visibility I was gaining on YouTube, it was a very triggering experience for me. In a good way though, it fueled a lot of growth. But I remember at one point I had a trigger come up. I think it was around perfectionism. It was about this time last year. And whatever the trigger was, I don't even remember exactly what it was, I didn't process it in the moment. I kind of resisted it and repressed it, and I ended up getting into a really stressed fight-or-flight state. And then what happened was I ended up feeling really disconnected from myself. I started doom scrolling. I started eating like really unhealthy foods when normally I love eating healthy foods. That feels quite easy and aligned for me normally when I'm in a good balanced state. And I started kind of doing all these self-soothing habits, what I now know are self-soothing habits. But as well as that, I disconnected from my vision. I disconnected from like that excitement I had for life, which is scary when you lose that. And I just started feeling like this heaviness. And every day I wake up and it just felt like a to-do list and it was just so monotonous. And I was like, what is wrong with me? I only, I can only seem to look at what's bad or potentially bad or potentially gonna go wrong. And I can't seem to see anything beyond that. What I realized is it was my nervous system. And when I regulated my nervous system and brought my awareness back into my body, and became more grounded, immediately my perspective, my perception opened up again beyond just the negative, and I started to see opportunities which were invisible to me before. I started to get my vision again. I started to get excited again about what was possible. So when you're in survival mode, when you're dysregulated, you focus 100% of the time on threats, on the negative, on limitation. When you're regulated, only then can you open up to possibilities, to opportunities, to more expansive ideas. And even though I'm aware of this, you guys, it still shocks me if now I get into a little bit of dysregulation. Maybe I'm low on sleep, maybe I'm traveling, maybe something happened that stressed me out and I couldn't regulate in the moment. It still shocks me the difference in my awareness awareness and my consciousness every time I become dysregulated versus regulated, it's like living in a different world. It's like living in a whole different world. So the first step is to regulate your nervous system. How do you do that? Okay, the key with regulation, and I have a whole— I have a few videos on regulation, I'll leave them in the description for you guys, but the key with regulation is to signal That the danger is over. Okay? You want to signal to your body that there is no threat, that there is no danger, that you are actually fully safe in this moment. And, you know, if we think about if you feel disconnected from a vision that excites you and that's why you've gotten into a slump, if that's the situation you're in, that's because of this as well. Okay, when you feel unsafe, it shuts off your creative life force, your creative feminine energy. In fact, all your energy is pretty much being used to this fight-or-flight response to keep you in survival mode, because why would you be in creative thriving mode if you are in danger, right? So you have to signal safety, and there's many different ways to do that. I'm going to show you a way how now. We're going to do it together. But the key thing with that is you want to bring your awareness. This is where regulation starts. It can only start here with your awareness in the body, your awareness on the body, your awareness in the present moment. Please remember me saying that above all else. It doesn't really even matter what method, what practice, what tool. you use to get to that point, to a degree, so long as you get to that point. Okay, so you want to bring your awareness back into your body. When you're dysregulated, the last thing you're going to want to do is a regulating practice where your awareness comes back into your body. Why? Because it feels unsafe to be in your body, because it's a survival response. Your nervous system is actually trying to protect you by keeping you focused on things outside you, on negative, or by keeping you numbing and distracting yourself. Your nervous system thinks it's protecting you from something painful or dangerous, right? So it feels— you're going to have probably a lot of resistance to doing this, but it's the best thing you could ever do. You want to bring your awareness back into your body. You can do this through journaling, through breathwork, through going for a slow intentional walk in nature listening to piano, through doing anything, you know, having a bath, self-care, whatever it is, doing anything that allows you to Arrive back in your body and reconnect to the present moment, reconnect to your body. One of my favorite practices to do this is called the frame technique meditation, or I sometimes call it the energy shifting meditation. I have a few versions of it in my community where you can look at a candle flame. So the original creator of this, his name is Aaron Doughty. If you just look up frame technique meditation, you can find his one for free on YouTube. Changed my life. But you essentially, in that practice, you put— you stare at a candle flame and you, while looking at the candle flame, put your awareness every time you inhale inside your body. That is extremely regulating. It is so grounding and it is Incredibly life-changing. We're not going to do that one today. We're gonna do something a little bit different. We're gonna do my favorite breathwork together. And in this way, if you are feeling like you're in a rut, like you want to get out of the rut, you're going to do step 1 right now with me. So rather than saying, yeah, I'm gonna go and journal and do these things— Do those regulating practices consistently anyway to stay regulated in your nervous system, okay? And go and watch my nervous system videos that I'll leave in the description. But right now we can regulate together by doing this short breathwork. So don't run away from this, okay? It's gonna take us— maybe we'll do 60 seconds max and just see how different you feel, okay? So this is a practice that I absolutely love. It's like a quick-fix practice. It's called alternate nostril breathing. You want to take your thumb and your pinky finger, unless you're driving listening to this. I know you guys listen to this when you're like folding laundry and doing all sorts of stuff, but if you can Just take a moment, you can do the standing, sitting, wherever you are. If you can just take a moment to do this with me live and notice the difference in your energy, your nervous system will thank you so much for it. So you want to take your thumb and your pinky finger, or you can take your thumb and your ring finger. I think the pinky finger is easier on one hand, so I use my right hand. And what you're gonna do is you're gonna take a deep breath in. Deep breath in. And exhale that breath away. Let your shoulders drop down. And now you're going to clamp your thumb over your nostril and breathe in through the open nostril, the one that's not clamped. If you have a blocked nose like me, you can lift your thumb slightly off the clamped nostril to let more air in, or let a little bit of air in through your mouth. But try to just use that one nostril. Then you want to clamp your pinky finger or your ring finger and breathe out of the opposite nostril. Okay, and then you breathe in through— so this is my right nostril. You want to clamp with the thumb, breathe out through the left, all the way out, and then breathe in through the left. Clamp with the pinky finger. Breathe out through the right. And then breathe in through the right. Hold it at the top. Clamp and breathe out through the left. Breathe in through the left. Close down the eyes. Clamp and switch. Breathe out through the right. Breathe in through the right. Clamp and switch. Breathe out through the left. Breathe in through the left. Clamp and switch. Breathe out through the right. Breathe in through the right. Really put your awareness on your breath. Breathe in through the right. Clamp and switch. Breathe out through the left. And as you breathe in, pull your awareness in with the breath into the body. Breathe in. Clamp and switch. Breathe out through the right. Breathe in. Clamp and switch. Breathe out through the left. Relaxing the body on every exhale. Breathe in. Becoming more aware of the body on every inhale. Clamp and switch. Breathe out. Breathe in. Clamp and switch. Breathe out. Relaxing the muscles in the body. Breathing in, becoming more aware. Clamp and switch. Breathe out and relax. Breathe in and focus on your body, on the sensation of the breath. Clamp and switch. Breathe out and relax. Breathe in. Breathe in. Switch. Breathe out. Breathe in. Switch. Breathe out. One more cycle. Breathe in. Switch. Breathe out. Breathe in. Switch. Breathe out. 1 more cycle. Gently float the hand down. Take a deep breath in through both nostrils and exhale out through the mouth like you're blowing out a candle. Open up the eyes. Welcome back. That is a regulating practice. So if you did that with me live, congratulations, you've just done step 1. Now, keeping things like that in your routine is so powerful. And I'm not going to explain it with words, but if you've done that with me live, just notice how you feel. Notice any sensations that might be a little bit different in your body. Notice if there's any increased feelings of relaxation, of clarity. And again, it's not something you can expect a miracle from just doing once, but with consistency, you can start to see results actually really quickly. And you see how it's the intention that's most important. So even as we were doing that practice, you can do that breathwork, but your mind is a million miles away. Or you can do a practice like that and really do your best to focus on the sensations and on the body while you're doing the practice. You're going to get a whole lot more out of it when you approach it with that intention. So I hope you're feeling a little bit more regulated and You know, oftentimes just regulating a little bit, even if you're still in a bit of survival mode, regulating just a little bit can start you building momentum to actually want to keep regulating. Because when you're in survival mode, the last thing you want to do is actually regulate. You just want to numb. Skye wanted to be in the video, so she actually taught me a lot about regulation. You did. She's very sensitive to noises, and I noticed that when she hears a strange noise or like a doorbell sounding noise, she gets really wound up. I don't know, does something happen? Does she like have a bad experience with the doorbell going off, or what happened? But when she's triggered like that and she goes into fight or flight like that, normally she's really good. Normally, like, she's well trained and she hears commands But when she gets into fight or flight, it's like she can't hear the commands, she can't listen to them, she can only focus on the potential threat that is the doorbell or whatever it is, whatever the noise is, or a plastic bag she doesn't like either. It's like random stuff, and everything else gets shut away. Like, my voice gets shut off, everything else gets shut off, even treats get shut off unless it's chicken. Um, And through watching her and observing her, I learned that we're pretty much the same. And, you know, there's no use getting harsh with yourself and getting hard on yourself when you're in that fight-or-flight state for not being able to do your normal things and, you know, stay acting normal or in the way that you want to act. You're acting out of survival, so you need to come out of the survival First, you can't expect yourself to act, you know, empowered and motivated and inspired when your whole body is in fight or flight. It's not fair to yourself, and it's also just not realistic. It's just not gonna happen. So like how I treat my little dog, you have to see yourself the same way. Like, rather than getting mad and shouting at yourself for not having everything perfect, try to understand yourself. Try to have compassion for yourself, whatever state you're in. Which brings me to point number 2. Step number 2 to getting out of your rut is to release. So this is one of the hardest parts about pulling yourself out of the rut because it feels really counterintuitive. You get into the rut. This is the typical pattern. And you hate being in the rut. You hate not being productive. You hate doom scrolling. You hate self-sabotaging, whatever way it's manifesting for you. And so you start to judge yourself. You start to criticize yourself. You start to berate yourself. You start to say, you used to have it. What happened to you? Look at you. You've just fallen apart. You've let yourself go. And this negative narrative against yourself is the very reason why you have not been able to heal and release and move out of this state. You cannot heal when you are standing against yourself. The best example I have of this is one of my old clients. I don't do one-to-one coaching anymore, but back when I did, I had this amazing client, and she is super productive. She's super dialed in. She's very type A. You know, she's focused. She's disciplined, and she just loves working. And she was building a business when she came on as a client. It was incredibly successful really quickly. But this happened to her: this little dynamic where week after week she was showing up feeling really. Off, feeling really disconnected, really uninspired, and just like she was forcing everything. And one week she came on and I noticed that she had this really harsh narrative against herself that wasn't there before. And I said, girl, you've gone from standing here with yourself in your own corner, having your own back, being your own cheerleader, to standing over here against yourself. Okay, so certain things happened in her life. She was stretched really thin by just life things going on. She had loads happening in her personal life that her to-do list was just getting longer and longer and longer. And then she was judging herself because she wasn't getting her to-do list done. And what happened? She started standing against herself rather than with herself. So that's what made it really difficult for her to start breaking out of This negative relationship with herself and with her life. So even though I know it's counterintuitive, I want you to just get this right now. You can't be in destructive energy and this hateful energy towards yourself and the world and expect to align with the constructive or positive forces in This universe. So likely what you want is to be in positive momentum, is to be in harmony with the universe, is to be in that flow where things are just happening and unfolding and good things are coming to you. And you're in that co-creative dance where you're moving into alignment with your power and your potential. That is what I mean when I say being in alignment with the constructive forces of the universe. It's being in that vibration that is resonant with harmony, with creation, with alignment, being in that vibration that's magnetic to all of these things that have that more positively charged frequency, right? You can't align with that when you're in a destructive energy internally. It's the opposite of constructive. So when you are in that state where you are being harsh with yourself or being harsh with others, are holding resentment towards yourself or bitterness or not forgiving yourself or forgiving other people for things that have happened, then you're going to stay in this destructive state and it's going to be really difficult, if not impossible, for you to get in alignment with those harmonizing constructive energies that help you manifest what you really desire. And the sneaky thing about this is you don't realize sometimes how much you're standing against yourself or how much you're holding against other people until you actually check in with yourself. So we're gonna do it once again right now, because rather than giving you something you could do later, you can do it with me now, or you can watch this back when you have time. But simply, all you need to do for this to start making your way back and to start releasing any of this, like, harshness or negativity is to just put your hand on your heart. Close your eyes. And just say, "I am here for you. I love you. I'm so sorry I left you. I will never leave you again. I know you're doing your best." I forgive you, and I am here for you. And just feel that harshness kind of fall away. So when you're ready, you can open up your eyes. And that is a really simple Check in. You can do it yourself. You see, it takes 2 seconds. If you want to go deeper, I have a whole meditation on that in my community. But it is so important that you do this every once in a while. Check in with yourself, forgive yourself, drop your weapons that you're holding against yourself and also towards other people. Okay? So the release Is of anything you're holding towards the self and towards others. Okay, so that first little bit we did is to move out of judgment and resistance to yourself into compassion and acceptance of yourself. The moment that you do that— so you might want to repeat that, you might want to sit in that for longer, you might want to send yourself love, You might want to do something like a shadow work or parts work practice. Again, I have whole videos on shadow work if you want to go deeper into that. But the whole— that what that starts, what that kind of kickstarts for you is as soon as you move out of judgment towards yourself and into acceptance and compassion, that's where you really start to understand yourself. That's where the awareness starts to finally open up and you can go, Oh, now I understand why I've been so distracted. Now I understand why I've maybe lost my spark a little bit. And so you can't reach that awareness until you come out of judgment. Okay, it's like my dog with the doorbell. If I'm just sitting there judging her going, stupid dog, it's just a doorbell, I'm never gonna be able to understand, you know, maybe something happened. Maybe there's a deeper reason why she gets so upset at the doorbell. I know it seems like a silly example, But it's really— we're like that as well. Whereas if I approach her with compassion, then I can start to understand her. Okay, so judgment and understanding are opposite energies. You can't keep judging yourself and expect yourself to start to heal because you will never understand yourself when you're in judgment towards yourself. And a necessary part of your healing is understanding. No matter how much you maybe don't like the way that you've been acting or you've resist the way that you've been showing up in your life, there's always a reason why. It's always serving one or more parts of you to behave in a particular way. Even, for example, a habit like smoking, which most people would say is quite a negative habit— people smoke because it serves a part of them. It's a self-soothing behavior to smoke cigarettes. Maybe it helps somebody with an anxious part of them. So there's always a reason for your behavior. You won't get to that reason, you won't be able to work with that part of you and give them whatever they need and meet their needs until you come out of resistance, resentment, and judgment towards yourself. Okay, so if you felt that, if you felt yourself come back to yourself, you might already be developing an understanding, and I invite you to go deeper with that. You know, journal, reflect, get to know yourself, study yourself, observe yourself with compassion That is how you are going to start to release whatever it is that's kind of gotten you into this point energetically. And again, if you want to go deeper with that, I will leave the shadow work video below that guides you through the process to release the parts of you that were created in moments of pain or distress. Those are typically the parts that are causing you to act in ways that maybe are out of alignment. So that's the self part of the release equation. Now, others is also important. It is important that you release any negative energy, resentment, bitterness, grudges that you're holding towards others as well, because a part of getting into a rut or negative thinking spirals is we can start to point the finger sometimes a little bit, and we can start to, you know, really externalize blame as a coping mechanism to deal with the discomfort that we're feeling emotionally. When you know all that's doing is keeping you in a state of powerlessness, right? If you're if you're allowing the blame to be on someone else, then someone else has the power over you. So forgiveness is an extremely powerful tool of release, and forgiveness does not mean that what someone else did was okay. It doesn't mean that you condone their behavior. It doesn't mean that you're ever going to be. You know, friends with them or in a relationship with them again. It doesn't mean that you even need to interact with them again. But you forgive other people because you know that they are flawed, that they are acting from whatever state of consciousness that they're in, and that's their world, that's their issue, that is their stuff to deal with. And the act of forgiveness is you just accepting them as they are. and handing that energy back to them, saying, I'm not the judge and juror. I'm not your higher self. I'm not your spirit guide. I'm not God. So I'm not going to be the one to say this is right or wrong. Yes, you hurt me, but I'm going to deal with that myself and just forgive what happened, forgive you from my energy so I can let it go and be free. And that person can be free to be who they are, however flawed or misaligned they may be with you. No matter how much someone has hurt you or betrayed you, nothing is worth holding in your energy like that, because all it's doing is bringing your energy down, bringing your vibration down, and it's actually keeping you in resonance with interactions, relationships, dynamics like that. So forgive Forgive. You know, Jesus spoke about forgiveness a lot in the Bible, and the famous quote is, forgive and you will be forgiven. You have to just accept that people are dealing with their own pain, their own perception, their own state, and it's not your responsibility to judge it. So forgive, let it go. And in doing so, you become more whole yourself as well. Of course, Christ was in an extremely high state of consciousness of total unconditional love, but being in that state, he was able to forgive people of things that are, you know, a normal person would deem unforgivable. Why? Because he can see that in every person, every person is from God, is a child of God, and a person who is acting in a way that might be harmful or whatever else to other people, he can see that that's just a person that's fallen into illusion and has lost contact with their nature as a child of God, which is their true nature. What you're essentially doing, if you look at it from this lens, is you are acknowledging the divine nature of each person, no matter how far from that it seems they have fallen, that that is still actually their essence. And in doing so, you acknowledge that that's your essence as well. Again, I have a forgiveness meditation in the community that guides you through forgiving others. If that calls to you, you can find the details for that below. What a practical exercise you could do on that is you just take a piece of paper and a pen and write, I forgive, and just release. Let it go. You could burn that page when you're done with it and just remove all of those resentments from your field. I promise you, you will feel so much lighter. And what this release step does is it actually brings your energy out of these energy patterns or energy cycles of resentment, of guilt, of anger, of hurt. So you actually get that energy back, and when you get that energy back, then you can you can put it, you have the energy, you have the, the resources essentially to then go and create what you wish to create. So when you're so focused on the negative or when you're so dwelling on, you know, hating on yourself or being resentful towards other people, that's actually you spending your precious creative life force energy on things that are not your dream life and things that you do not wish to continue to create. So release, let it go. It's not worth it. It's not worth it. And when you even think about peace, right? Peace is available to all of us. Peace is a choice, but peace can only be found in choosing to let go of anything and everything that could disrupt your peace, which is not easy to do, but this is how you start to do it. So on the other side of this is your peace, is your wholeness. It is so worth it. Okay, the third and final step to getting your mojo back, getting out of your rut, is to realign. And I'm going to give you a really direct way to do this. When I say realign, what I mean is you realign your life with what you actually value. Okay, so Often we feel really off, like just really off, or really like just uninspired by our lives when we're living a life that is not in alignment with what we actually value. And this happened to me in kind of a small way recently. I was sick. I had a sinus infection, which is crazy. I've never had a sinus infection before, but I had a sinus infection for a couple couple of weeks, and I ended up spending a lot of time in bed, and I ended up tired and watching TV and scrolling more than I normally would. And after like 2 weeks of being really inactive and like consuming a lot more than I was creating, I started to feel really misaligned and really ungrounded. And what I noticed is I started actually looking at content content of people who were doing like morning routines where there's like this trend going around. I don't even know what it's called, but it's like my morning brain stack or something, where basically these creators were just showing what they— how they fill their minds basically in their morning. So people were doing like journaling, crossword puzzles, reading, and then meditating. And that is typically what my most aligned morning would look like. Maybe not in that order, maybe not with a crossword puzzle, but I might add one in. But that is really aligned with my values. And I started to feel this yearning, and I started to go down this hole of watching all these people doing these morning routines on social media because I hadn't been doing my morning routine. I started to get, you know, envious, and I realized That feeling of yearning is a sign that someone is living according to your values, and it's an internal signal for you to start getting into alignment in your own life with those values. Okay, so as soon as I had my energy back, I recommitted to my values, which one of them, one of my strong values is learning. I'm going to go through how you can define them in a second is learning and knowledge. So I started bringing back in reading in the mornings, and I cannot explain to you guys the rush of energy and inspiration that I got from 10 minutes of reading. The reason for that is you will get a disproportionate benefit from prioritizing your values over other things, okay? It anchors you into your yourself more than anything else so that things outside you just can't sway you so much. It connects you to your soul, to your life force, to your creativity, to your essence quicker than anything else will. So when you're disconnected, when you are prioritizing things that are not actually in accordance with your values, you begin to start to feel really unaligned and ungrounded. But the— it's a super quick fix to come back into alignment when you define your values and you bring them into your life as priorities. Immediately you get energy, immediately you get intrinsic motivation, immediately your self-trust goes up. And all of this is basically what it feels like to have your spark back and have your mojo back. Okay, so your values, how do we find them? Okay, so what do you value? These— this is specifically core values, and you can just Google a list of core values and read through them and notice what— where you feel resonance with specific ones in your body. Okay, this is going to get more practical in a second, but I'm going to read some out to you. Achievement, adventure, balance, belonging, compassion, contribution, connection, Discipline, excellence, justice, freedom, humility, humor, legacy, security, simplicity, tradition, health, self-expression, responsibility. Okay, and you might be thinking, I like all of them. I know you like all of them. Okay, we all do. But which ones do you feel more in your body? You want to go through, just look up a list of core values, go through and feel in your body maybe the top 10, and then try to narrow it down to 5. And then what you want to do is you want to start asking yourself questions. So I'm going to give you a couple of examples just so you can actually do this. So you want to be able to rank your values from 1 to 5, or even from 1 to 3, as in like, this is my top core value, this is my second most valued core value, my third, my fourth, my fifth. And this, it feels, this can be difficult to do, but actually it gets really, really clear when you start asking yourself questions. I don't recommend often using AI, but actually AI like Claude or ChatGPT is really good for helping you do this. So use that tool. But for example, 2 of my core values are freedom and excellence, and they both feel like number one to me. But I asked Claude to make me questions, like clarifying questions, so I can find out which one is actually more important. And the question is, would you rather have a highly autonomous life where you're free to explore and create, even if you never become exceptional at one thing, or would you sacrifice some freedom to pursue mastery and become exceptional? For me, I would sacrifice some freedom to pursue mastery. So that became really clear and obvious, whereas before it felt really confusing and I wasn't able to clarify it. So you can do this with everything. Like, for example, security versus adventure. Would you keep a stable income and a steady routine and a home base you can count on, or would you rather give up some of that income to travel and take risks and say yes to the unknown? And again, you'll feel which one is more of a yes for you because You'll feel an expansion. You'll feel like something in your heart or something in your stomach that feels connected to the one that's actually most aligned with you. Okay, once you've got your list of your core values, you want to then prioritize your values and in the order that like whichever one is most important to you. So again, if you're using an AI tool. Tool, you can ask, what does someone's day look like whose core values are this, this, this, and this? And you will see straight away what kind of behaviors represent someone who values these things and what kind of behaviors don't. And this doesn't need to be a super complex thing, okay? Let's say, for example, one of your core values is excellence or mastery. You might look at your life and see that this thing that you want to gain mastery in— this was something that happened to me really early on on YouTube, I valued excellence. I valued mastery, but I had no space in my calendar for learning, for deep work, for working on my channel or on my content. I was just like making a video here and there, right? So that was me living out of alignment with my values. So when you look at your life right now, just intuitively look at what you're prioritizing. Look what has become a priority on autopilot and look at whether those priorities, those things that you have been prioritizing, are actually in alignment with things that you care about and you value or not. And if they don't, then you've got to start changing your day around so that it actually reflects your values. So let's say one of your values is connection. And by the way, your core values can change throughout your life. So for me, one of the core values that has become more important to me is connection, is community, belonging. I would kind of put those into one. And so because my values have changed a little bit recently with my Saturn return and turning 30, my priorities need to change a little bit. I'm making more time to reach out to friends, to respond to messages, when previously I wasn't very good at that. Okay. So priorities the things that are actually important to you. Change your schedule. Make time for the things that actually matter to you. Make certain things non-negotiable and just commit to them. I promise you, within a few days of you actually prioritizing the things that really align with you, you are going to feel a big shift in your energy. You're gonna feel your self-trust go up, you're gonna feel your motivation go up, and you're gonna feel more inspired and aligned in your life, which is how you get that spark back. Your priorities don't need to make sense to anyone else. They only need to make sense to you. This is about what makes you feel good. So prioritize your values. And if you can, from this exercise that we just did together, if any Anything popped up for you. So maybe, you know, you want to start being more creative or spending time with more aligned people, or, you know, spending time with your spiritual practice, whatever it is. Do one thing today if you can. Do one thing today to start this positive momentum back into alignment. Don't do it later, do it now. And that's also a mantra you can take with you while you're moving into the realignment phase is do it now, do it now, do it now. If not now, when? The sooner you do the steps to bring yourself into alignment, the sooner you're going to feel better, the sooner you're going to start to build that positive momentum. You're only ever like a few decisions away from being in a different place in your circumstances and in your energy. So do at least one thing today. Okay, to recap, You can feel differently. People have pulled themselves out of much worse slumps than you've been in right now. Change the narrative. Decide that you're not staying here. How it's been is not how it's going to be, so long as you make the decision that you're going to start changing the story today and you're going to start changing your energy today. So say goodbye to the slump. Say goodbye to the rut. Step one. is to regulate, come back into your body, ground your awareness back into your body, do things that make you feel present and connected to yourself and come out of that survival mode. Step 2 is to release. So release anything you're holding against yourself and anything you're holding against other people. And if you want to go deeper on that, you can do things like shadow work or parts work. Step 3 is to realign. So get clear on what's actually important to you. Look at your life and see how you maybe have been prioritizing things that are not important to you, and understand that maybe that's why you don't feel so good or you don't feel so inspired. And begin to prioritize the things that you really value. I promise you, when you go through these 3 steps— they are tried and tested— your energy will shift like this, and you will start feeling like your best, most magnetic self in no time. Please remember, you have everything you need inside of yourself to live the life of your dreams. You just have to let go of all the noise and tune back into yourself. Sending you so much love, and I will see you in the next video.
