How does one pray? What is the secret to prayer? It's a question that I'm asked all the time. Any religion, any language, you can pray. And it's very simple. Prayer means a request. And a request builds a vessel. So every time, in your own language, you talk out loud to the universe, you talk out loud to the Creator, this infinite force of energy, and you say whatever you want to say. You have a conversation, or you ask for help or support, or you share your pain the way you might with a therapist. This conversation with the Creator is prayer. And what it does is it opens up many channels of energy, because by doing so, our words are vessels. And our words, when they come out of our mouth, even if it's quiet words, even if it's words that are just between us and the Creator, they create new vessels inside of our soul that capture new wisdom, new ideas, and new inspiration. So the reason why, after you pray to the Creator for certainty or pray to the Creator for clarity, all of a sudden, things can open up in your life is because those words expanded your desire. Those words expanded your soul. And that light and energy that was always there, always wanting to come into your life, now can it, is because you expand it. And that's what prayer does. Prayer expands you.
