The ONE Thing You Actually Need to Manifest Anything

Katie teaches that manifestation requires one thing: becoming the version of yourself who already has what you want. She walks through letting go of your old identity, embodying your desired self through routines and micro-habits, and staying steady in that new identity until your circumstances catch up.

Today we're going to be talking about the one thing that you need to manifest anything. So I'm going to be simplifying manifestation for you today because there is a lot of noise and nonsense on the Internet. There's a lot of techniques and things that you don't really need and they're just confusing you. Basically, manifestation is really simple. It's made out to be this like woo woo complicated thing. It's extremely simple. The only thing you really need to manifest anything is, is you need to become the version of you who already has that thing. That's it. That is manifestation. It's shifting your state, your energy, your identity, to the point that you are the version of you who already has the thing that you desire. So we see this, this is called Kingdom theology. It's in Genesis in the Bible. Be, do have principle, right? Be fruitful, do multiply, have dominion. You can't have the thing that you desire materially in the physical world until you do specific things to have that thing. But you can't do the things that are going to enable you to have the thing until you become the version of you who can do those things. So you have to be that version first. Then you can do the actions that will result in you having the physical outcome. And unless you're, you're doing your manifestation in that routine, unless you're focusing on things in that priority list, be, then do then have, you're going to be chasing your tail, confused, not, not finding anything that really works for you. So a lot of these manifestation principles and techniques, they miss the point and they add all this stuff on that's just not necessary. All you actually need to focus on is being the person who can do the desired action to get you the desired result. That's it. There's not one thing I've manifested and I have brought about so many changes in my life in the past two years. I'm completely unrecognizable from the person that I used to be to the woman that I am today. And all it really was was a series of me shedding my old self and becoming a new self, shedding my old self and becoming a new self, shedding an old self and becoming a new self over and over and over again. I didn't manifest a single change physically in reality without manifesting a change internally first. So I'm going to walk you through three steps today on how you can actually become this version of you who already has the thing that you desire. If you do want a deep Dive. If you want this broken down to like, the fundamental levels and put back together again, and you want to, like, understand, understand how reality changes when you change your identity and why and like the science and the spirituality and all of that that goes behind it, then you can watch some of my other videos. I'll leave them down below. We're not going to go that deep on things today, okay? I'm just going to be giving you the three steps to actually become this new version of you. So step one to becoming the version of you who already has your desired reality is you have to let go of the old version of you. You have to let go of this self that you're identified with. From right here, right now, watching this video, this self, this character that you've been playing up until this moment is very familiar and very safe to you. But if you want to manifest an experience in reality that's quite different to what you've been experiencing up until now, then you have to become a version of you that's quite different to the version of you that you've been embodying up until now. So I'm kind of giving you these steps, by the way, with the assumption that first of all, what you're trying to manifest is something that's actually meaningful to you and aligned with you, and it's something that's quite different to what you're experiencing in your reality so far. If that's the case, then this version of you needs to go. I give you an example of this. In my own life, I used to be somebody who was always in unhealthy relationship, romantic relationships. I had three relationships in a row that were not healthy at all. And I tended to attract very insecure attachment styles in my partners because I had an insecure attachment. So I was identified as somebody who had difficulty in relationships, who was always kind of manifesting partners that were emotionally unavailable or that were going to be challenging or that needed, like, fixing or helping, all of these things. Because that was who I was for years. That was my identity. And it wasn't until I got out of the third unhealthy relationship that I was in that I finally looked in the mirror and I said, this is obviously a pattern within me because I spent years pointing the finger at the people that I was in these relationships with and saying, oh, it's him. It's his fault. He's doing this. He's toxic. Da, da, da. Well, I was the one who was attracting this into my life. And it wasn't just one person. It was three relationships in a row. And so I had to look at myself and say, what is it about me that is attracting this? And I realized I was identified with the version of me who always had a difficult relationship. I always had drama, I was always fighting. I always, you know, went for the guy who was emotionally unavailable. That was who I was. And the turning point was when I finally decided that that was not going to be my story anymore. So every turning point in my life that I've hit, that's been a really big moment like this, where my reality has just spun on its head. It's always been where I've really looked at myself objectively. Like, you almost want to go out of body and really just look at yourself and say, okay, who have I been? Is it serving me? And if not, can I let it go now? As soon as I realized that it was me and that I was writing the story, I. I started to rewrite the story. I started to realize, okay, if I continue to show up as this version and I continue to run this narrative of what my romantic relationships look like, I'm never going to meet my dream partner. I'm never going to have that secure relationship that I really truly desire. So I realized the trade off. And then I finally said, okay, that version of me cannot birth my dream reality for me. So she needs to go. This is why most people stay stuck. We tend to be very addicted to the old self. And no matter how many manifestation tools or affirmations you try to use, if you're not really fundamentally letting go of the identity and the self concept that you've been wearing for years that no longer serves you, you're never going to be able to shift. So you need to be. You need to get comfortable with stepping out of your autopilot identity, and you need to get comfortable stepping into the unknown. The results that you have right now are the result of your autopilot identity that you've been embodied in up until this moment right now. And just like you automatically, for example, if you're identified with being broke or being poor, you automatically have a reality of lack. If you were to have an identity of being abundant and being wealthy, you would automatically have an a reality with abundance in it. Okay, it's automatic. So I'm going to give you two practical exercises to let go of the old self. If you're listening to this and you're thinking, okay, I know, I can see now, you know, the old version of me has been limiting me. And actually they will not Be able to facilitate the manifestation of what I truly desire in reality. What you can do first and foremost is you can write a goodbye letter. Okay? So take pen to paper and just write down, dear me up until this day. Thank you for helping me with this. Thank you for keeping me safe from this. Thank you for looking out for me with this. But I now am going to a new level. I'm going to a new dimension, and you cannot come with me. So I have to let you go, right, and fully say goodbye. Like, say goodbye. I'm saying goodbye to this version of me. I'm saying goodbye to this part of me. I'm saying goodbye to this habit. I'm saying goodbye to this story. Write this all down. Then you can go and take that and burn it and just get rid of it and let it go. The other thing you can do is you can cut the cord with this old version of you. So in a meditative state, what you can do is you can drop into your body, really, really tune in and drop in and become present and grounded in your body. And then imagine the old version of you like you're pulling that version of you out of your body. And they're floating in front of you. And you just look at them objectively, and you might see around them all the characteristics, all the limiting beliefs, all the limiting narratives and habits and ideas and identity traits and everything that they have. And just picture that you're cutting the cords with you and that version of you and let them float off, away from you. You might want to do those exercises a couple of times, but really you're just trying to get to that moment where you fundamentally realize it is you versus you, it's the old you versus the new you. And one of you is going to have to die. The you that's gotten you the results up until now versus the you who can create your dream life. One of them is going to have to die. They can't coexist. So which one is it going to be? So step two actually really helps with step one because it's easier to let go of one thing of one version of you when you have something new to hold onto. So step two is you become the version of you who already has what you desire. In doing this, you want to first define who this version of you is, because this is going to help you realize what. What you have to gain in letting go of the old self. And it's going to get you actually excited to step into the new self. So a lot of us are Kind of just bumbling around hoping for the best, like trying different visualizations and tools. And we're not really thinking about where we're trying to go and who we need to become to get there. We never fully sit down and actually map that out. And one of my highest viewed videos on YouTube is a step by step guide on how to go through and like map out your vision, the version of you who's there, all of that. And I think the reason it resonated so much with people and I saw, even I checked the comments today, people are giving such positive feedback for that process is because we rarely ever get as granular as we can with mapping out our vision and mapping out who we actually need to become to get there. So step two, becoming the self with the desire already achieved. It starts with defining the desire. What do you want? Make sure it's something that's aligned and meaningful with you. That's a separate video, but just that's a caveat. Okay, and then who is the version of you who already exists in this desired reality, who it's natural and easy for? I have a meditation that can help you with this. I'll leave it down below, but just practically write down on a piece of paper, define what you want and then define the version of you who's there already. And I'm going to tell you, the first time I did this was back in 2024. So when I first came up with this, I call this like your stick figure exercise, or you create the avatar who's already achieved your desired reality. I first did this myself back in 2024, right after I started my YouTube channel. I had posted like two or three videos on YouTube and I wasn't consistent at all. And I was so hung up on. I really just wanted the outcome I was trying so desperately to just manifest. A thousand subscribers, 2,000 subscribers, you know, a certain amount of. Really what my ego wanted was to go viral. But I was just so focused on having, having, having, having the outcome that I wasn't thinking too clearly about the actions, the doing. And I couldn't think of the right actions to do anyway because I wasn't focusing at all on the being component, on the identity component. So I had it all backwards. And I hit such a wall. Like I posted a few videos and I hit such a wall. I remember it so clearly where I realized this working. I can't keep showing up in this same energy and expecting to get a hundred thousand views on a video. It's not gonna work. And I remember I sat down one evening and I wrote down, I had a whiteboard in my office and I wrote down, okay, this is where I want to go. You know, I think I wrote down, I want 50, 000 subscribers, which we've passed that, we're almost on 100. Amazing. I wrote down 50, 000 subscribers. I wrote down, I want to be making just some revenue from YouTube, I want to start getting more one to one clients. I want to launch my school community right this is right at the beginning of everything. And I looked and I really meditated on that desired dimension which I'm now living in, like that reality. What I would be doing, how it would feel, how I would be creating everything, what my mornings would look like, what my days would look like. And I really felt into it. My bank account looked like, what my spending looked like, what my investments look like, everything. And I felt into it and I was like, okay, who is the version of me who's there already? Who is she? And all of a sudden I got this full picture of this woman who was so different to the woman that I had been up until that moment. And I went, oh, that's what I've been doing wrong. And so I wrote a stick figure, this is where this exercise was born, on a whiteboard. And I got so clearly, when I really tuned into this reality, I got so clearly all the details of this woman, this version of me, she got up at a certain time, she had a certain routine in the morning, she was consistent with particular things that I was not. Like little things and big things became very clear to me on who this version of me was. So I wrote down, you know, her diet was different, she was reading more, she was researching more, she was brainstorming more. And it was just so clear to me like that that was who I needed to become in order for this to be the result. And there was such a big, big gap between who I had been and who she was. And I got, I got so much relief in that because I went, oh, I can stop trying to force actions now from my old state of being because it's never going to work. I can just focus on being this version of me, and then naturally I'm going to be doing the right actions and then I'm naturally going to have the desired outcome. And it was such a moment of relief because I could finally focus on what was actually going to work and what I could actually control, which was my embodiment. So if it weren't for me writing down that stick figure and getting very clear on all of those details. I would never have become that next level version of me. And I never would have grown my channel. I never would have even known the actions to take, the ideas to execute on. None of it. Because I would never have changed my energy and my identity from that day onward. I remember I changed everything. I was doing so much, but my energy mostly is what changed. You know, I finally was like, okay, this old version of me who is forcing and just so attached to the outcomes and, and thinking that she's not good enough and thinking this and that, like, she's gone. There's no more room for her. I AM now this YouTuber version of me. That's what I called her, YouTuber Katie. I am the version of me who takes this seriously, who actually loves, like, researching and thinking about what people would need help with and putting time into my craft. That's the version of me that I'm becoming. And when I fell in love with that, the results looked after themselves. So how to do it? Get a piece of paper and a pen. Define what you want, your desired reality, your desired dimension. Tune into that reality and look at the version of you who's there. If you want, you can do my meditation on this. Drop into the body of the version of you who's there and go, okay, who am I in this dimension? And then you want to write down a stick figure on a piece of paper and you want to write down what this version of you is focused on, what their habits are, what is their attitude, what is their like overall state, day to day, what's their habits, what are they thinking about, how are they treating other people, what are their standards, what are their boundaries, what are their routines? Every little thing that comes to mind intuitively as you're tuned into the desired reality and the version of you who's there. Every single thing that comes to mind is important, even if it's something as seemingly silly as goes for a walk each morning or speaks to her friends more or is more loving or drinks a green juice every day. That's one that my client had that I always talk about. Those are not random. Those are the breadcrumbs and the steps to your desired reality. And the self is the vehicle to the desired reality. Your embodiment is your vehicle to the desired reality. There's no other way to get there. And as soon as you start following those breadcrumbs. So let's say you write down, you know, she has a little bit of a different routine. He. She has A little bit of a different routine. Um, maybe they're drinking a green juice, maybe they're, you know, being more loving, and maybe there's some higher level stuff that is kind of out of reach. This is a question my community member had. They're like, how do I focus on the embodiment? If there's. If you do this exercise and there's some stuff that you feel like is kind of out of reach for this version of you still, you start with the stuff that you can do now, even that basic little stuff. And as soon as you start making those changes actually in your reality, your self concept starts to change like this. And what happens is a path starts unfolding before you to your desired reality. Why? Because, okay, the self is the vehicle to the desired reality. You've basically been in the wrong vehicle and you've been looking out the window of your vehicle. You've been looking at, like everybody else in their vehicles, trying to figure out how they're getting to where they're going. And now, because you've defined the. The self and you've started actually showing up as that new self, you've essentially, metaphorically gotten into the vehicle of the self who can actually achieve this desired reality. So it's already in motion. You're already on the way. Just by taking the first few steps as that new version of you, you're on the path. It's already unfolding for you. And a lot of my clients are very surprised sometimes when in the first few sessions, we usually do this exercise together and we define the reality and the version of them who's there already. They're often surprised a few weeks later when things are just unfolding and they almost. It's almost like without effort. Why? Because they're looking after the embodiment. And I remind them this is literally what you wrote down a few weeks ago. And they're like, whoa, that's crazy. It's not crazy because you're in the right vehicle to get to the desired reality by focusing fully on the embodiment. It is that simple. The path unfolds as you walk it. That is one of my favorite quotes. And another one of my favorite quotes is do what you can and what you have. So after you make it clear who this version of you is, take all the little things that you can control and you can change today and focus on doing that each and every day. And the path will unfold as you walk it. Like, I remember I started when I was doing this. I started with reading more because I Knew that this version of me in this reality, she was reading way more than I was reading, and she was meditating more and, like, all these little things. So I just started there, and it was like I just. I started crawling, and then I started walking, and then I started running, and then all of a sudden, everything just took off. So no matter what it is, no matter if it's just the way that you dress, the way that you present yourself, the way that you eat, start there and let the path unfold from there. Okay? Step number three is to be bigger than your circumstances. So as you go down this path of trying to change your reality, one of the biggest mistakes that people make is, is they stop focusing on who they're showing up as. And they start getting lost in their circumstances in the goings on of the world, and they get sucked into the drama and the trauma and all of that stuff that's going on in reality when none of that actually defines you unless you say it does. So step three is to stop reacting to reality and instead teach reality how to react to you. How by remaining strong in your new identity no matter what circumstances are prevalent around you. The first time that I started awakening to this was actually last year, right before I started my YouTube channel. I was. I started on Tik Tok. If any of you have seen my TikTok, hello. There's like, 25 versions of me of that app, but I. I remember really clearly. I used to be caught up in, like, all this drama and in, like, my friend group, and there was lots of stuff going on. And I just remember I started getting, like, this vision for YouTube and this kind of new level in my life. And this voice came into my head that said, a person who's going to do big things cannot let small things get to them. And I can't tell you how true that is. And every time I've leveled up, I've had to accept that I'm gonna have to stop reacting to all the little things in my old reality if I want to graduate from that reality, no matter what it is you're trying to change. And this is the paradox of how this reality works. If you want to redefine your circumstances, you have to stop taking your current circumstances as definitive. Even if I, like, look at my finances, I know I bring this up all the time, but this is one of my biggest blocks. For the longest time, the moment that my financial sit situation changed, like, dramatically and it hasn't gone back since, is when I looked at the number in my bank account, which was objectively not a very fun number to look at. And I had no reaction. I didn't make it mean that I was broke. I didn't let it trigger me back into my lack programming or my lack identity. I just said, this is no longer relevant because I am a different version of me. I'm the version of me who's abundant. I'm the version of me who's successful. And I'm all in on that version of me. So this no longer defines me. When I had that moment, that was when my finances changed. Same thing happened as well when I had misaligned clients and misaligned work for a long time. And I remember I was fighting with it in my reality. I was worrying about it, I was stressing, I was getting caught up in it. And the day came where I said, wait a second, I'm perpetuating this because I'm acting like this is bigger than me when it's not. I'm bigger than this circumstance. So I took my energy back from it, I took my power back from it. And I put my focus instead on what I wanted, which was aligned clients, you know, aligned work, all of that. And I identified with that. I focused on that. I believed in that. I put my energy into that. And then guess what? That's what started aligning into my experience. So every single time I have improved the circumstances in my life, it was because I stopped taking my old circumstances as law and I stopped letting them define who I was. And most of all, I stopped letting them throw me off of embodying the version of me that I wanted to become. This even goes a step deeper. But like, after you have decided to shift your energy and shift your identity and show up differently, you have to be a new self in an old reality for a while, and you will be tested by your old circumstances. And this is why most people struggle and they fail because they find it so uncomfortable and so challenging to keep showing up as a new self in an old reality. How can I keep showing up as the wealthy version of me in this lack reality? And they let those circumstances define them, and that's when they fail. If only they could realize and know that the only reason that it actually fails is because they keep letting the circumstance define them. And if they could just stay strong in the new version of them, then they would succeed in that. But the circumstances in your life, you know, that period where you're in an old reality as a new self, that's the training ground of the new self. And this is what most people don't realize. You are basically teaching reality that you are no longer the same old version of you. And so you might have like exceptionally triggering circumstances come up. You might be really tested. This happens a lot right after you've committed to be a new version of you, to be more authentic and aligned and empowered and everything. You might have the worst, most triggering circumstances happen to you after you've committed to that. But those are opportunities for you to show reality that you are not that old version of you anymore, that you are going to stay strong as this new version. And the moment that you can respond differently and respond in an aligned way in. In the identity of the new version of you is the moment that you reprogram reality. So you've got to be bigger than your circumstances. If you need to understand why you're bigger than your circumstances and how true that is, then go and watch some of my videos linked before, because that's like the missing piece for me for a long time. Like I didn't know actually how physical matter is responding to us constantly and how it is basically defined from us and our state. So understanding that on a deeper level can help you with this step a lot as well. I always say this in my community and I'm going to leave you with this last reminder on this last point. But you have to change how much importance you're placing on the self versus on the reality. And the moment that you can place more importance on your energy, your identity, the way that you're thinking about things, the way that you're speaking about things. The moment you can place more importance on that internal world than you're placing on the external world is the moment that you will have begun to master your reality. So you have to notice when that switches. When you start placing more importance in the external than the internal, the that's when reality starts mastering you. And you don't want that. If you want to start making changes happen. The one thing that you need in order to manifest anything is to simply become the version of you who already has that thing. You have to be more before you can do more. Before you can have more be, then do then have. You're probably failing because you're focusing too much on having. And you're not changing the being, you're not changing who you are showing up as. So you have to step one, let go of the old self. Realize it's old you versus new you. And you have to decide which one of them is going to die. Let go of the old self so you can step into the new self. Step two is you want to embody the version of you who's already in your desired reality. So you do this by defining your desired reality, defining the self who's there already, and then showing up as that self every day as much as you can, and letting go of the outcome completely. And then step three, you must become bigger than your circumstances. Realize you are either defining your circumstances or you're letting your circumstances define you. And after you've committed to your new embodiment, you will have to be a new self in an old reality for a while. But that is your opportunity to teach reality that you have changed and to teach reality to respond to you differently. If you want step by step resources and guides and meditations to walk you through this process and enable you to shift your identity so that you can align with your desired reality, you can find the link below to my private community. That is all for this week guys. I hope you enjoyed. I will see you all in the next.
