A spiritual teaching on protecting blessings by asking the Creator "Why me?" with genuine gratitude rather than claiming them as earned. The practice activates Or Chazer, a returning light that sustains the blessing, while claiming ownership drains it like a black hole.

A teacher once told me there's a verse that you can say to protect any blessing that you have in your life. You meditate on whatever it is that you have received. Let's say it is wealth. Let's say it is a relationship. Let's say it is the children that you have, something that is of value to you. And you say out loud to the Creator, why me? Why me? Not from the place of that you don't deserve it, but from the place that you are in such an energy of appreciation, almost like you are surprised that this has been given to you as a gift. When you say why me, something very powerful is happening energetically. It is called the Or Chazer, the returning light. You see, every time we get a blessing and we think, ah, this is mine, I earned it, I worked hard for it, I deserve it. And we take that energy in. It is as if it is a black hole and this energy begins to disappear. But every time we receive a blessing and we say, why me? Almost like we're pushing the energy back, saying, what is it about me that I deserve this so much? It is as if it is a gift. This frequency creates what's called the returning light, the Or Chazer, and this creates immortality in whatever blessing you have.
