This Is How You Take Your Power Back

The speaker argues you regain power by changing how you respond to challenges, not by changing circumstances. Treat daily friction as tests, sit with discomfort, and embody the identity of who you want to become. Pause at triggers to respond differently instead of reacting.

Hi, guys. Welcome back to the channel. This is gonna be a little bit of a different format because I'm traveling and I don't have my camera, so I'm taking this video on my phone. But I just wanted to share something really quickly with you all. And this is something that kind of just unlocked in my brain. And since I unlocked it, I have just been living a totally different reality. I've been able to match up to a reality that I could only dream of a year ago. And I really. It's just hit me in the last little while how much I'm literally living everything I used to wish and pray and dream for. And the thing that shifted and the thing that changed was allowing myself to feel like I already had everything before I had anything. And the first step that people miss with this and the reason people don't get their desires is because they stay rooted in a version of reality that does not align with them, that do not want to persist. They stay rooted in that version of reality because they continue to react to over and over and over again emotionally in the same way to everything going on in their lives. So they have that same annoying co worker that they get annoyed with every single day. They have the same family dynamics that they feed into with their emotions every single day. They have the same stresses, they have the same eating habits. They have the same beliefs about what they can achieve. Everything they fire in their sit in their brain every single day stays the same. And so they keep getting the same results constantly. Until you get to a moment in your life where you put your foot down and you say, today is the day I'm gonna feel differently. Regardless of everything going on in my life, I am taking control of my reactions. Until you put your foot down and you do that, the world around you is not going to change. Realize this. Everything before you is a test. Everything you're struggling with, you're dealing with, you're faced with on a continuous basis. Everything in your life, from the moment you wake up in the morning and open your eyes and go out into the world is testing you. Especially things that you struggle with. They're sent to you so you can overcome them, so you can look within yourself and decide to respond in a new way. That's the only reason what's before you is what's before you. It's the only reason you're being sent the same challenges, just in different ways and different styles. And until you wake up to the patterns in your life and you decide to respond differently to the patterns in front of you, the patterns won't go away. So instead of focusing all your energy and emotions on this person, this person did me dirty. And this co worker is so annoying. And I woke up in the morning and my boyfriend is an asshole. Like, instead of focusing all the time on the same shit that is stressing you out, focus on how you can react differently, because that's the only way it's gonna change. I don't care how stressful something is. I don't care how annoyed you are. If you don't decide to change how you're reacting and how you're responding emotionally to everything in your life, then, then nothing in your life is going to change. Nothing in your life is going to change. And this is the hardest thing in the world to do. But it's the reason that we're here. We must get to a level of consciousness that we rise above the shit going on in our lives, literally, and we can just look at it for what it is, which is a test for us to react differently. So when you're in the moment of a trigger, when you're in the moment of something that would normally cause you to get rid of really pissed off, normally cause you to go off the rails and binge eat, normally cause you to light up a joint, normally cause you to have a shot of whiskey, I don't care what it is. If you're in that moment, even if it's something where, like, you're so stressed that you normally go to the gym and you normally have to like, lift loads of weights in order to feel better, yes, that's a healthy coping mechanism. But what if you sat with that discomfort instead? What if you sat with yourself and you asked yourself, what is this situation teaching me about myself? Because there is no use getting annoyed about the situation. You cannot control situations and challenges. If you cannot control yourself, if you can't control how you respond, you will never, ever, ever, ever, ever control your reality. So when you wake up in the morning and you're going about your day, think of your day as a series of quests and tests and challenges. And when you get into that moment where your, your pull to react one way is so strong, react differently and it's going to be so difficult. This is how you know it's a chance for you to evolve. This is how you know it's an opportunity for you to really, truly change something when it's very, very difficult for you to react in a way that you don't normally react. So if you normally react with Anger, if you normally react with fear. Fear. If you normally act with doubt, if you normally react with frustration, hopelessness. In that moment, force yourself to respond differently. Ask yourself, how can I respond differently to this? And do that, do that. Challenge yourself to not lash out. Challenge yourself to act with compassion towards the person that annoys you the most. When you break the cycles and you respond differently, when it feels so difficult to do that, that is the moment where your world will shift and start to respond differently. It's the very, very situations that you find the most difficult to respond differently to that are there to shape you and evolve you and transform you. And when you can tackle those and really get uncomfortable and really, instead of dissing your co worker, respond with love, respond with compassion. Do the thing that makes you the most uncomfortable. Next thing you know, the energy around work, co workers, everything, things are just going to shift and transform because of the frequency you are now embodying. Because the very thing within you that you couldn't face, you faced, you overcame, you responded differently. And then your reality responds differently to you as well. So every single time you are feeling yourself wanting to fall into a victim statement of, this is so annoying. That is so annoying. This ruined my day. This happened. That happened. Catch yourself and ask yourself, how can you respond differently? That is you taking your power back. You are becoming the creator of your life in that moment. Rather than your life and circumstances creating you. Do you want to be created by your circumstances or do you want to create your circumstances? When you feel yourself being pulled in emotionally by something and reacting in a normal, habitual way, you're being created by your circumstances rather than you creating your circumstances. And so you have to have the strength of will to say, no, I'm not going to submit to my old paradigm, my old behaviors, I'm going to respond differently. When you're striving for a big goal, in particular, when you really want something to transform in your life, when you want to go from living one version of events to living a totally different version of events, the shortcut to that is embodying that frequency. Now, the frequency is your thoughts, your beliefs, your emotions and your identity. Okay? The strongest beliefs, the strongest sense of identity, the strongest emotions and the strongest thoughts are the ones that create your frequency. And your frequency is what attracts certain events, situations, opportunities, people to you, okay? You attract what is resonant with your dominant frequency. This is science. This is universal law. Anything that's in front of you right now is in front of you because of an energy that you have embodied in the past. And it can't be there if you didn't do that. Even if you don't think you have embodied a certain energy, even if you think it's really unfair of me saying that. That's how it works. Okay, so it could be something you're carrying deep down on a subconscious level that you are completely unaware of, that you've bur. But it's in there and it's in you. And that's why I'm telling you to become so, so honest and aware of how you're reacting. Because you'll soon realize that you're the problem. Like, you may think you're very rational, you're very level headed, but when you actually pay attention to how much you dwell on things, how much you complain, how much you blame all of these things, how much you respond and react negatively emotionally to things around you, you start to realize, oh shit, I am the problem. Like I have been doing all of this all along, but it's so normal for us to do this. Like I was in a cafe today and there was a woman sitting with her newborn baby, right? Brand new, probably like a month or two old, very, very, very, very young baby, right? And she was sitting across the table from her friend and they were just chit chatting, talking like two friends do in modern society. And she was talking about problems with this person and problem with that person, giving her friend advice on all these issues she's having. But immediately we can see from the moment we're born as that little newborn, right in that mother's arms, we're getting this information, we're processing this information and we're taught to place importance on external events, on everything going around around us, everything going on around us, people, places, things, circumstances. When that isn't what's important, what's important is your frequency. But when your frequency is you placing importance on other things, you reacting emotionally to other things, that's not a strong enough frequency to bring in a new dream and a new desire. Because you're constantly caught up in current events, in current ongoings and you're making those so important you don't have enough energy to create something new. How can you all your energy is going to feeding into what's going on around you because we're trained to do that from the day that we're born. And so how you shift that and how you start to take your power back is you let go. And that's so scary to do because for some reason we think it's safer to cling on to everything around us. That's what we're taught since the moment we're born. And so that's what's familiar to us. And then naturally, what is familiar to us, we think is safer. But it's not safer. It's just more familiar. And you'll know this. You'll know you don't feel safe in letting go and things around you, because if you try to sit still in meditation and sit in silence for five or 10 minutes and just let go of your thoughts, just let go of the thoughts that you're thinking. If you simply just try to sit there and let go of the thoughts that you've been thinking, you're gonna be scared. You're gonna be like, I can't do it. I can't do. I can't let them go. I can't let them go. Like, you're gonna cling on to your habitual thought patterns because they're familiar. And what we think is familiar, we think is safer. But listen. Listen to me. You are not unsafe. Letting go of what's familiar. What's familiar is just keeping you stuck. What is unfamiliar is no less safe or more safe than what's familiar. They're as safe as each other. Safe is an illusion. We're all here playing a human game, and we're all gonna die. Nothing is safe and nothing is unsafe. So you may as well just run for something that's unfamiliar, knowing it's just as safe as what's familiar and knowing that it's going to bring you more fulfillment. Okay, that's. This is just a BS thing that we've come up with where it's like, we think we need to hold on to all these things we know because we think that's going to keep us safe because it's what's familiar, but it's hurting you, so it's not. It's actually more safe. If you really want to think about it, it's actually kind of more safe for you to go for something that's going to fulfill you and not hurt you as much. So just because it's familiar doesn't mean it's safe. And if you can practice sitting down and simply letting go of your thoughts, you're going to go. As soon as you finally get to that point where you can just sit there and let go of your thoughts and just sit still, you're going to be like, oh, nothing bad happened. Nothing bad happened. And this is what happens when you start running the opposite way to how you Normally react. When you start embodying an energy that's very different to what you normally embody, you will realize that it's not unsafe. The unfamiliar is not unsafe, the unknown is not unsafe. You just have a false perception about that. So when you're trying to go for a new goal or a new dream, you're still operating from the same frequency that you've been your whole life, right? You're operating from the frequency that has gotten you to this point in time right now. All the results that you have right now, as harsh as that sounds, it's. It's something within you, an energy you've embodied has gotten you what you have right now. And so you're going to have to become of a different version of you, a different energy, a different frequency to have a different outcome. And if you want to take the shortcut to the new outcome, then you have to embody the energy first. So I'm not saying sit back and do nothing, but when you take action from the frequency of the person who already has what you want, you take the right actions. You can either take action from where you're at right now, right? So listen. So listening to the ideas that you have from a mental state that's operating at a frequency that has gotten you the results that you have right now, versus listening to the ideas of the mental state of somebody who has what you want, which ideas do you think are going to get you there? It's the ideas of the version of you that has what you want, obviously. But people still think this is woo woo, and people still think this doesn't work. It's that simple, it's that straightforward. You're imagining that you have it. You're sitting there and you're visualizing, how would I feel when I get this thing? What would I be showing up as? What would I be doing? What would I be saying? What beliefs would I have? How would I feel about myself? What friends would I have? What relationships would I have? What are my dominant emotions every day? Specifically your emotions, how are you feeling? How are you showing up? Are you confident? Are you decisive? Who are you when you have what you want? When you tap into that and you get so, so clear on that and you tap into the pie of mind, the freedom, the security, the confidence, all these feelings, and you imagine just feeling them now. You're communicating to your subconscious mind that you have this thing now. And when you do that, your subconscious generates thoughts and ideas that are in line with that reality, that version of you who has that and that's what gets you the thing. So it's not like you just snap your fingers and you're like, I have it. And you open your eyes and you have it. You are programming your mind to become the person who has the thing. And then your mind produces ideas, inspiration, intuition, in line with what you feed it. So if you're still, if you keep just feeding your mind that you are who you are now, and you're chasing something and you don't have something, you're going to have the ideas of the person who doesn't have the thing. If you practice embodying and feeling the energy of being the person who has what you want already, and you're already over it, you're gonna have the ideas of a person who already has what you want. It's that simple. Your intuition is going to kick in and it's going to show you and guide you and say, well, if you are this person and you already have this thing, then this is what you would do. This is what you would say, this is how you would act. This is how you would show up, like, down to the nitty gritty. Like, these are the people you would hang around, these are the groups you would join. This is the food you would eat. And it'll naturally just all come from within you when you tune to that frequency internally first. But you can't tune to the frequency if all you're ever doing is buying into your current reality with your emotions, with your attention. Because in order for your frequency to shift, right, in order for even a simple belief to be overcome, your new belief has to be stronger than your old belief. So if you keep seeking out confirmation that, that this reality for you that you're experiencing is true right now, then that's going to stay very strong for you. The frequency that's attached to that reality is going to remain very strong. So instead, you must decrease the importance that you're placing on this reality that you're experiencing right now. So even if something stressful happens, it's not important. It's a test. It's not important. It's temporary. It is a test sent to you so you can evolve and into the person that you have to become in order to have your highest fulfillment. That's it. And that's how you have to start looking at these things. Because otherwise you're just going to be at the whim of everything and you're going to be feeding in, feeding in, feeding in with your emotions and everything's just going to stay the Same. So you must start looking at the things in your life as tests for your spiritual development. Accept the things that happen to you. Stop trying to force things to change. Accept the things that happen. Take responsibility, responsibility for your emotional reactions. And see things as opportunities for your growth and your development. And that's all they are. It's not the end of the world. It's not that important. You're placing too much importance on all these things. They're just there for you to grow. Focus on what you're going towards. Focus on your internal development. Take your power back. What can you do differently? What is there something you can run headfirst at that you know is going to evolve you and make you uncomfortable? Tell a different story for yourself and for your life. When that story becomes stronger than this current story that you've been telling, then this story is what's going to become true for you. Okay? That's what you're going to start living and experiencing. You know, I didn't just wake up in the morning and become confident enough to make a YouTube video. I had to make a million trial runs at it. I had to script out over and over and over again what it felt like to be living this life. I had to visualize it over and over and over again. I've been. I visualized coaching people, having a community, having a YouTube for a year and a half before I actually did it. By the time I did it, I had mentally done it so much that I was just chomping at the bit, dying to just do it. And so then I naturally just fell into it and started doing it when I finally started doing it. But it's all I think about all the time, is this growth, is this expansion, is where I'm heading and when I feel myself coming away, when I feel myself getting sucked in, when life gets busy, which it naturally does, it doesn't have to be bad things, by the way, when you're just busy. Like, for example, I'm traveling right now. I'm interacting with people more. I'm out of my routine. I have to make the conscious effort in the morning to get up and remind myself, today I'm embodying this because this is who I am, right? And who I'm saying I am right now, it's not reflected in my reality, right? So financially, I'm. I'm embodying an energy of more than I actually have now, financially. But mentally, I already have it. You see what I'm saying? This is constant financially success, wise friends, wise opportunity, wise I'm constantly mentally achieving new things. I'm constantly pushing myself to show up as the version of myself who's 10 steps ahead of me. Why? Because that's getting me there, right? When I mentally arrive there first, the physical follows. And when I stop doing this, it stagnates. So you want to always, always, always ask yourself, what do you want and how can you feel it right now? How can you believe it right now? How can you write the story for that for yourself right now? How can you embody the emotions of the person who has that right now? And next thing you know, you're going to be sitting talking to someone and in the back of your mind that little intuitive God voice within is going to say, hey, you should, you should do this thing random. That is your intuition. Because you gave it the signal. You gave it the exact prompt. You said, this is who we are, this is what we have, this is how we feel. That's you're sending up a little clue, right? And then your intuition God voice comes back down and says, okay, if that's who you are, this is what you need to do. And you do that thing and you get ten fucking million steps ahead of where you would have been if you hadn't done that thing. Because that is, that is inspired action. That's exactly what inspired action is. Inspired action is action in line with the version of you who has what you want, right? And fear based action is action in line with the you now who's chasing and yearning for something. Fear based action will move you, right? And some. Sometimes it's going to be a mix of both. It doesn't have to be all inspired action. Sometimes you need to take some fear based actions to get places and that's fine. But you want to bring in as much inspired action as possible because fear based action will move you a little tiny bit. Sometimes it'll move you away, sometimes it'll move you towards. But inspired action will take you from here to here. Like boom. You just. And it'll be things intuitively that you're like, that's a way out of my comfort zone right now. That's, these are things really that's going to push you to fully become of the person who has what you want. So it's going to be like an intuition to do something probably that's really scary and out of your comfort zone. But when you do the thing, all of a sudden you're the person who has the thing. And then next thing you know you have the thing and that's how it goes and that's how it works. So it's really about you overcoming the reactive, ego driven voice inside you that's trying to keep you stuck in your current reality. It's trying to keep you afraid. It's trying to keep you full of self doubt. It's trying to keep you from realizing that you are like a mini God. Basically, you're a creator. You're a portion of God, the Creator. And you were brought here to create fulfillment within yourself and to create your own life. But this oppressive voice is trying to keep you from realizing that you have that power. And so you need to be stronger than that voice and you need to have discipline and will and show up for your vision. Embody your vision, Stay committed to your vision. When you're busy and life is trying to knock you around, you make the time to sit down and realign and remind yourself what, where you're going, who you're embodying, and that you are going to make it happen no matter what. You are destined for it. And when you do decide that and you really believe it and buy into it and you do the work to shed your beliefs, to talk yourself out of all this doubt. Get in your diary. When you feel doubt, write it down. I feel doubt because of this. How can this not be true for me anymore? How can I overcome this? Do that work. Don't just feel the doubt and let it sit there. Get it. Write down, how is this not true for me anymore? Write down. How can the opposite be true for you? How can the new belief be true for you? And bit by bit, brick by brick, you're gonna break away from this oppressor voice within you and you're gonna really embody this God creative energy within yourself. And next thing you know, you're gonna be living a life that's completely fulfilling and you're no longer at the whim of everything around you. When things happen in your life, they are opportunities for you to respond differently. Remember me saying that in the moment where your emotions are trying to pull you in and make you feel doubt, make you feel rage, make you feel insecurity, catch yourself. That is an opportunity for you to become the creator of your fulfillment and your feelings in that moment and not to be created by your environment. Do you see what I mean? It's a power dynamic and you are giving your power away in that moment when you let your emotions take hold, when you let circumstances around you just affect you so deeply, constantly, every day, all the time, you are being created by Your circumstances. And in that moment, you have a conscious choice to create instead of being created to decide, no, I'm going to respond differently and it's going to be uncomfortable, but I'm just going to see what happens. And let me tell you one more thing. Oh my God, just try it. You don't have to buy into everything I'm saying. I'm just asking you to try it. So this is something, this is a rule that I brought in for myself when I. Especially when you're getting intuitive hits to do things or intuitive nudges to do things, when it's something that's way out of your comfort zone, you're not going to really want to do it at all because it's going to feel so uncomfortable. But say, for example, right, I got an intuition, super basic one, to start going to the gym at 7, 7:30am and immediately the other voice came in. I was like, that's stupid. No, you should be doing this at this time. Or what about your like meditation, morning rout and then, no, you should go at lunchtime because you'll have more food in your system. Okay, no, no, no. My intuition just told me this out of nowhere. And you know it's your intuition, by the way, because it's that quiet voice that just comes in out of nowhere. And usually you start talking yourself out of it. So it's the one that you talk yourself out of that you need to start listening to. So I was like, okay, no, excuse, excuse, excuse. What I started doing to interrupt the voice that talks me out of it is I'll say, no, I'm going to try it once. I'm going to try it once. I'm going to just try it one time. So next time your co worker pisses you off, instead of you getting really pissed off and starting to complain and starting to want to run to your friend and tell them, say, I'm going to try once to not do that. I'm going to try once to respond with compassion. I'm going to try once to respond my understanding. I'm gonna try once to lay my anger down. I'm gonna just try it once, try it one time. If you need to start posting content, try it once. Just post one. Because what's gonna happen is you're gonna do the first action and you're gonna realize, oh shit, this is right. It feels right. This is what I'm meant to be doing. And you're gonna snowball and you're just gonna keep doing it because you're gonna be like, yeah, yeah, this is what I was supposed to be doing. As soon as you feel the satisfaction of doing that, of following your own inner voice and ignoring this oppressive voice that's trying to keep you glued to your reality, oh, you're gonna just like start rolling with it and you're gonna listen to it more and more and more and your intuition is gonna get stronger and stronger and stronger. So just, just trust it once when it tells you to do something, do one of something. Try it one time. One time. That's all you need to commit to. After that, you can say if I didn't like it, I can give it up. But what's going to happen is you're going to like it and you're going to realize your intuition is right and you have way more power than you think when you just listen to that inner voice and you stop talking yourself out of things.
