Chapters
After you get married, or after you have children, or after something new enters into your life, there is a period of emptiness. We know this from people who have actually achieved a higher level. You actually get the award. You get first place. You get that thing you've been working for your whole life. And then you feel empty. Why? Because now you've expanded your vessel. You've gone to a new level. And this expansion has empty space. And so you feel empty. Imagine you're on the junior varsity basketball team. And you are the best player on the team. In fact, you're so good that you're good enough to go to varsity, the next level. But once you go into varsity, you're no longer the best player. In fact, you're probably the worst player on the team, or somewhere in the middle. Then you start to feel empty. You don't have that same fulfillment you had being the star player on the junior varsity team. Now, this emptiness you feel is a result of what? It's a result of your soul having elevated to the next level. It's a result of you entering a bigger league, an expanded vessel. Notice here how by you expanding to a bigger vessel, you feel emptier.
