Elliott Botterill warns that AI lacks the tacit knowledge humans have about their own companies. Companies that let AI redesign sales funnels without human context saw performance degrade. AI works best when leaders feed it the specific context it can't learn on its own.

Artificial intelligence is very powerful. However, it does not understand you and your business anywhere near the level that you do. We forget that our human power is that we know what is going on. We've interacted with the customers. We've been on the journey throughout the business. We know what all of our different divisions are working towards, what our quarterly goals are, and we know all the nuances. Okay, we know the nuances because we've absorbed all this information over a very long time. Now, AI only knows what we specifically tell it about our business. And so without you doing a complete Neuralink brain dump of everything to the AI, it's always going to be missing some content. And so this is a major limiting belief. And I've seen many funnels recently get killed because they've just decided to recreate or redesign their entire funnel by telling AI to make it better. And then lo and behold, it actually makes it worse. So AI is very powerful, yes, but when used in conjunction with our own context, which is where you as the business leader ultimately are most valuable.
