This is a YouTube video titled "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zaup3POJ6bw" containing a monologue by Adrian Reid discussing portfolio management strategies, specifically how to reallocate capital when switching off a trading system. The content focuses on financial trading and investment allocation methods.
We're switching off a system. How do we reallocate that spare capital now? So we're trading a system. You turn it off, you take it to cash. Now you've got extra cash in your portfolio. What are your options? Find a hole in the portfolio and put that money into a new system. Good. What's another option? Distribute to the existing systems in their current proportions. So you might say you've got a system that had 10% allocation. You shut it off. Now you've got 10% spare. You know the percentages of all of your other systems. Just bump them up a little bit to soak up that 10%, and then the next trade you take will be just slightly bigger. They're basically the two methods. You either soak it up in your existing systems and just expand their capacity a little bit, or you find a new system and you allocate the money to that sat.
