A short YouTube video by Adrian Reid (Enlightened Stock Trading) arguing that the five people you spend the most time with strongly shape your trading outcomes (drawing on Tony Robbins' idea). If your trading circle consists of pessimistic or reckless people you risk losing money; if it contains disciplined, systematic, long-term successful traders you are more likely to succeed. Reid advises seeking out positive trading communities, removing risky gamblers from your circle, engaging and learning within the community, and invites viewers to comment where they find good trading communities.

Program and something came up which is critical to your success. And if you don't get this right, you will fail in the stock market. What came up is very closely related to something that Tony Robbins teaches, which is that the five people you most surround yourself with determine your traject or your path in life. If the five people you spend the most time with are optimistic, positive, successful, driven people, then you're likely on a path to success. If the five people that you spend the most time with are pessimistic, focus on the negative, can't get motivated and don't have any discipline, then chances are.
You'Re on the path to failure.
So how does this concept relate to your trading? Well, if you think about this, imagine.
You'Re a trader and you've got a.
Circle of people you talk to about.
Trading and investing in the financial markets.
Now imagine further that those people are not professional, long term successful traders. What are those sort of people going to be doing?
They're going to be talking about all.
Of their winners, they're going to ignore their losers.
They're going to be talking about how much they're risking on this trade because.
This is the one they're going to be taking high leverage and all these sorts of crazy things which you would never do. If you're a successful trader, if that.
Is your trading circle, then you are on the path to failure. Now you can fight against it, but it's very hard to fight the community that you surround yourself with.
On the other hand, if you're a.
Trader who surrounded yourself with a community of other successful traders who have a.
System which fits their personality, who have.
A written trading plan and the discipline.
To follow it, then chances are you.
Too are on the path to success.
So how about you? What I'd like you to do now.
