Adrian Reid built a Claude skill that turns messy trading ideas into complete systems. Paste a brain dump or Twitter screenshot, and it extracts setup, entry, exit, position sizing, and other essentials, then flags what's missing and suggests fixes so you can backtest immediately.
when we talk about, I wanna test a trading system that does this and that, we don't cover all of the aspects of the trading system. So for example, I've got a Claude skill now where I can just put in a brain dump of my system idea and it reviews the idea, takes all of the components that I've written, slots them into the different parts of the trading system. So setup, entry, exit, position sizing, position scoring, all of that, commissions, markets, universe that it trades. And says, all right, you've got these things, but what about these other things that you've missed? Here's some suggestions. So you get a complete idea very quickly from a brain dump. It has been super powerful because if I find a Twitter post that has a system idea that's partially formed, I can take that image, dump it into Claude, and using this skill, it reads the Twitter post and then takes the information out and tells me what else I need to make that a complete testable system. Making an idea complete, because we know you can't test the system until you've got every component, right? You need everything. And sometimes thinking about, oh, okay, so what do I— what market do I apply this to? What time frame do I use this on? And what exit? Because the guy didn't talk about the exit in the post, so what exit should I use? That takes time, so we can speed that up. So that's one of my favorite ones.
