A short YouTube video by Adrian Reid (Enlightened Stock Trading) advising traders to push themselves to trade even on low-motivation days. Reid uses a personal anecdote—dragging his jet-lagged family to St. Paul's Cathedral in London despite not feeling like going—to illustrate that the best trading days can come when you least feel like working. The video closes with a brief sign-off and channel ID.
Ever got up in the morning and just not felt like doing your trading at all?
Well right now I'm dragging my poor jet lag family. The girls are way back there to see St. Paul's.
Cathedral in London. We just arrived in London this morning.
Hideously jet lagged.
Everyone's falling asleep on the tube but I've dragged them out to go see the cathedral. So I'm gonna.
Head over there and.
I'll see you when we get there. Actually none of us really feel like being here today, but this is a pretty impressive sort of building. And you know, we're not in London for very many days. Just a couple of. Just a week, just under a week. And we really didn't want to miss the chance this time because last time we're here we missed the chance. So even though we didn't feel like it, we had to drag ourselves out of bed to do it. But boy am I glad we made the effort because this place is amazing and exactly the same. You know, some days when you don't want to get up and get into the markets and do what you've got to do, you end up having the best days of your trading career. So you've got to get up and you've got to do what you got to do even if you don't feel like it. My name is Adrian Ray. This is enlightened stock trading and I'll see you in the next video. Bye for now.
