In this solo fitness monologue, Eric Roberts outlines the seven most important actions for building the healthiest body in 2026. He starts with cardio, emphasizing walking 8,000–10,000 steps daily and adding low‑intensity zone 2 cardio 2–4 times a week for 15–30 minutes. He then advises lifting heavy weights (5–12 reps) 2–4 times weekly for 30–60 minutes. Next, he stresses calorie management, recommending a ~500 kcal daily deficit for weight loss and aiming for about 80 % consistency over a month. Protein intake should reach at least 100 g per day, spread across 3–5 meals. Fiber intake should start at 15–20 g daily and progress to 25–35 g, with high‑fiber foods suggested in the comments. Sleep is highlighted as a critical, often‑overlooked factor: 6–8 hours per night with consistent bed and wake times. Finally, he urges reducing chronic stress, noting that stress can be more lethal than many other health threats. Throughout, Roberts uses an informal, motivational tone with occasional profanity, delivering clear, actionable numbers and encouraging viewers to follow the linked resources.

If you want to build the healthiest body you can in 2026, here are the top 7 most important things you need to start doing. Number 1, cardio. And no, this doesn't have to be sprinting, boot camps, humping the ground, doing burpees. The most important form of cardio is walking. So if you're not getting at least 8,000 to 10,000 steps per day, do everything you can to work up to that. Once you're doing that, look to add in some low-intensity zone 2 cardio. This could be incline treadmill walking. This could be walking with a weighted vest. This could be a light jog, stair stepper, elliptical. Do that 2 to 4 times a week for 15 to 30 minutes. Number 2, lift weights. And don't just do this lightweight for high rep stuff. Look to lift heavy weights for you and try to get stronger over time in the 5 to 12 rep range. You also don't need to work out every day. 2 to 4 times a week, 30 to 60 minutes. is more than enough. Number 3, you have to make sure you're eating the right amount of calories. If that's to lose weight, then you want to be in a 500-calorie deficit per day. And no, you're not going to hit this perfect every day, and that's okay because you just need to focus on being 80% consistent over the course of the month. And if you need to know how many calories you should eat, click this link in my bio. Number 4, you need to be eating enough protein, not just throughout the day, but try to spread it out throughout the day between 3 to 5 meals. A starting point is if you're not currently getting 100 grams of protein per day, do that. And then everything else above that is just extra credit. Number 5 is fiber. Number 5 is eating enough fiber. If you're not currently getting at least 15 to 20 grams per day, start there. And once you can do that, work up to 25 to 35 grams per day. And some of my favorite high fiber foods I'll put in the comments below. Number 6, the one that everybody overlooks Sleep. Get your ass off of this and do more of this. Not only try to aim to get 6 to 8 hours per night, but try to go to bed and wake up at the same time to improve the quality of your sleep, not just the quantity. And number 7, stop stressing the fuck out about everything. My dad would always tell me, if you're still gonna wake up tomorrow no matter what happened in It's not that big of a deal because the stress you're putting on yourself will kill you much faster than anything else. And I hope this helped.
