How To Lose Belly Fat Faster Than Taking Ozempic

In this video Eric Roberts argues that natural methods can shrink belly fat faster than the GLP‑1 drug Ozempic. He first explains why Ozempic, while effective for rapid weight loss, often leads to loss of muscle—including abdominal muscle—because it suppresses appetite and protein intake, resulting in a “skinny‑fat” appearance. He then outlines a four‑step protocol: (1) prioritize whole‑food calories (≈80% of intake) to exploit the higher thermic effect of food, creating a larger calorie deficit even with equal calorie intake; (2) eliminate or drastically reduce alcohol, which he describes as a metabolic toxin that halts fat burning and promotes visceral belly fat; (3) take a 10‑minute walk after each meal to improve digestion, reduce bloating, stabilize blood sugar, and burn extra calories; (4) train the abdominal muscles with progressive resistance (e.g., cable crunches, hanging knee raises) 2‑3 times per week to build muscle so that lost fat reveals a defined midsection. He supports each step with analogies, brief research references, and client anecdotes (Michael, Chelsea). Finally, he promotes his 8‑week fat‑loss challenge that provides personalized nutrition and workout plans, and points viewers to a free calorie calculator and a follow‑up video on expected timelines.

You can lose belly fat faster than people injecting Ozempic without taking anything. After coaching over 25,000 clients, I have found a 4-step process you can follow to naturally lose belly fat faster than any drug could. And before I give you the 4-step process, I want to explain the problem with taking Ozempic to lose belly fat. Because right now, taking Ozempic or a GLP-1, you might be seeing people drop weight fast. And it's true, the scale will drop fat, but losing weight and losing fat are not the same thing. Here's what's actually happened to a lot of the people who take this drug. It kills your appetite, so you barely eat. But you're not just eating less calories to lose weight, you also end up eating less protein, which— those 2 things combined is less of the fuel your muscle needs to survive. So your body won't just burn fat, it'll burn muscle along with it. And what nobody thinks about is your abs are a muscle. So if the drug is making you lose muscle, then even when the weight comes off, there is no lean, defined stomach underneath. So you just kind of end up smaller and softer in what we call Skinny fat. Think of it like one of those bounce houses at a kid's birthday party. When it's inflated, it has a shape. It has the walls, the tower, the slide. But if you unplug that blower and let all the air out, it gets smaller, sure, but it doesn't turn into anything. It just kind of collapses into this saggy pile on the ground. And that's what Ozempic does to a lot of bodies. It lets the air out, but it doesn't build any. And just so we're clear, I am not against taking Ozempic. I think it could be a great tool if that's what you choose to use. But remember, the goal isn't just to lose weight, it's to lose fat and reveal the muscle underneath. And that's what these next 4 steps are going to be for. And the first step is going to be weird because it's going to put you in a bigger calorie deficit while eating the same amount of calories. And it sounds impossible, but let me show you. 2 people can eat the same exact amount of calories and one of them will lose more fat. Not because of genetics, not because of metabolism, because what the calories were made of. You've probably heard eat whole foods and clean foods 1,000 times. And every time the reason is like, well, it's healthier. That's not a reason, so you don't take it seriously. Nobody tells you what these healthier whole foods actually do for fat loss. Think of it like buying a couch. One store delivers it fully assembled. Somebody carries it in, puts it down, And it's done. The other store ships it in a bunch of boxes. Now you do the work to assemble it, and it takes a bit more work. Eating processed foods is the pre-assembled couch. A factory already broke it down for you, so your body barely has to work to digest and break down the food. Whereas whole food, it shows up in those boxes And your body has to do the assembly and break it down. It has to work more, and your body pays for that labor in calories, meaning your body burns more calories when you eat whole foods versus processed food. And this isn't a theory. Researchers tested this exact thing. They gave people 2 meals with the same calories, one of whole foods, one of processed foods. The whole food meal burned around double the amount of calories just digesting it. So the same calories went in, but more calories went out. So 2 people can eat the same amount of calories, and the one eating mostly whole foods walks away with a bigger calorie deficit. And this is like one of our clients, Michael, who's down over 40 pounds. One of the first things we changed about his nutrition was making sure we got at least 80% of his daily calories coming from whole foods. So for you, make sure 80% of your calorie intake is coming from things like fish, eggs, potatoes, chia seeds— any food that has like one ingredient. So think banana, one ingredient. Eggs, one ingredient. Oatmeal, one ingredient. And this will speed up your fat loss more than Taking Ozempic could. And by the way, if you don't know how many calories you should be eating per day for your calorie deficit, I have a free calorie calculator in the description of this video below. It's the same one I use with my online coaching clients, so feel free to take it and use it for yourself. Now, the second step— there's something that people intake every week that has no job in your body other than holding on to belly fat. And you may have heard before that alcohol is empty calories. Let me show you what that actually means. Every food you eat has a job. Protein rebuilds every cell you've got, and it builds muscle. Carbs get used for fuel or stored as energy inside of your muscles for fuel later when you work out. Fat has the job of regulating your hormones and keeping a healthy metabolism. But Alcohol is the only thing you'll consume that has no job. Your body can't build anything with it. It doesn't get used for energy. As far as your body is concerned, it's pretty much a useless toxin, and that's what your body treats it as. Think of your body like an office building. Everybody's working, and then alcohol walks in and pulls the fire alarm. What does everybody do when the fire alarm is pulled? They stop working. And that's what your body does when alcohol is in your system. Fat burning stops, muscle building stops until the alcohol is out of your system. All the while, the alcohol just kind of sits in your stomach. And if you've ever seen people who might have that beer belly, that's one of the reasons why. Not to mention, alcohol is linked to visceral belly fat, and that's the belly fat that sits on top of your internal organs. And look, I'm not going to be the guy to tell you to never drink alcohol again. But if you're really serious about losing your belly fat, I would encourage you to at the very least cut back or for a period of time, cut it out to make sure all the calories that you are consuming actually is doing something to help you drop your belly fat. And now those first 2 steps are pretty powerful, but it's going to take a few weeks to show up in the mirror. But this 3rd step, you'll notice a difference today. Day. And if you're someone who wants your stomach looking flatter tonight, this is the step. So here's the pattern: you eat dinner, and then you drop on the couch. And that food that you've been eating at dinner, but also the entire day, just kind of sits there. And so you get this bloated look and feeling, your stomach is like pushing out. And even if you ate perfect all day, you kind of look in the mirror and see a gut that's not fat. That's just food that is sitting in your stomach undigested. Think of the dishes after you eat dinner. If you rinse them right away, it takes 2 minutes and your kitchen will stay clean. But if you let them sit in the sink, they pile up, and now the whole kitchen will start to look like a mess. Your stomach works the same way. If you move right after you eat, the food keeps moving through you. But if you sit down and do nothing, it piles up just like the dishes in the sink. So after each meal that you have, take a 10-minute digestion walk. Because being upright and moving your body, moving blood flow, will immediately get digestion going so the food doesn't just sit there and bloat you. And on top of that, it burns extra calories for your calorie deficit. If you take a 10-minute walk 3, 4, 5 times a day after you eat, that could be 3,000, 4,000, 5,000 extra steps you take throughout your day. And not to mention, it keeps your blood sugar steady, which just means fewer energy crashes and fewer late-night cravings. That will get you a flatter stomach tonight and a bigger calorie deficit every day. And all of this sounds great, but there is one problem. Everything I've given you so far removes fat, but if all you ever do is remove fat, you'll end up just like the person who's taking Ozempic and muscle. So step number 4 is how to make sure you don't just lose the fat, but you actually build the muscle to reveal underneath. Because trust me, I've worked with enough clients to know the last thing you want to have happen is do all of this work, lose all of this weight, and then look in the mirror and think, I don't even like what I see. And you may have heard before, you can't spot reduce fat. Doing crunches won't automatically lead to you building muscle and losing fat in that area. Abs are made in the kitchen, and half of that advice is right. You can't burn belly fat with crunches, and yes, your nutrition is going to take care of your fat loss. But like we said in the beginning of the video, your abs are a muscle just like your bicep, and if you never train them properly, there won't be anything there to show when the fat finally comes off. Think of it like a theater. Losing belly fat is like the curtain going up, but the curtain going up wasn't the show. The muscle is the show that you actually want to watch. And if you just raise the curtain and there's no show behind it, you're going to be sitting in the theater thinking, why am I here? Why, why did I come here and do this? So don't raise the curtain on an empty stage. Train your abs just like you would train any other muscle. With resistance, with progressive overload, and through exercises that are spinal flexion exercises. And that just means rounding your spine, kind of curling into a ball. Examples would be cable crunches, hanging knee raises, reverse crunches, decline sit-ups. And all you need is 2 to 3 times a week of 2 to 3 exercises Adding weight over time, just like any other lift. One of our clients, Chelsea, did this the whole way through her diet. So when she finally dropped the belly fat, as you can see, she actually had definition in her stomach. And remember, this is the exact muscle that Ozempic has a greater risk of losing if you don't follow this four-step process. And that's why you'll see faster progress losing your belly fat than someone who just takes Ozempic. Now, if you're like Eric, this makes a lot of sense, but. I do not have the time or mental bandwidth to figure all of this out on my own. Can you just build me an exact plan I can follow? Yes, I can do that for you.
