If you're somebody who has knee pain anytime you do squats or whenever you do lunges, then I'm going to give you 3 exercises you can do instead to still have an effective leg day. The first exercise is going to be this Romanian deadlift where you're trying to push your hips back to the wall behind you. This exercise is going to work your glutes and your hamstrings without putting pressure on your knee. The second exercise is going to be a hip thrust, but you need to make sure you don't have your feet too close in. You want to make sure your heels are in line with your knees at the top. And the 3rd exercise is going to be a box squat, because when you're able to sit down to a bench or a box, it takes the pressure off of your knees.
