You're fucking this exercise up and you and I both know it, except I know how to fix it and I'm going to give you 3 things to do that right now. First, you want to stop thinking about going back with the dumbbells, and I want you to think about going out almost to the sides of the wall instead. Second, I want you to stop leading with your hands, and instead I want you to think about pushing with your elbows as opposed to your hands. Last but not least, stop trying to go up so high. You're going to end up arching your back because you're trying to get this range of motion, hurt your back. Once your arms are about parallel to the ground, just stop.
