Everyone underestimates me, but then they turn their back and I'm like, boo! And they're like—
If you don't eat any food before a workout, it's very easy for your blood sugar to drop. And that's why you would feel dizzy, lightheaded, or even nauseous. So let me tell you exactly what you should be eating before a workout. The first is carbohydrates. They are your muscles' main source of energy. And my favorite pre-workout carbs will be in the caption below. The second is protein because This will help your muscles perform better during your workout, and it'll help you recover faster after your workout. And last, you want to have a full glass of water with a little bit of salt sprinkled in. Salt is one of your main electrolytes to keep you hydrated, and it helps you lift heavier weight by having better muscle contractions during your workout. Try to do all 3 of these things 30 to 90 minutes before a workout. And if you work out super early, then just make sure your dinner the night before has all 3 of these things.
