This sucks, but it will help you lose fat faster. By now, you know you need to eat in a calorie deficit, and maybe you're trying to track your calories, but it's hard to stay consistent. Maybe a couple of days you overeat, you don't finish tracking your calories for the day, and what happens is you kind of just eat mindlessly. Then you go and say, oh well, I overate. To fix this, You are going to pre-track everything that you eat. So you can eat anything you want, any food you want, but you have to track it before you eat it. This will make you visually see how many calories you are about to eat, and if you still want to eat it, awesome. Or maybe you could change the portion sizes to eat less. Maybe you could make some swaps to make it more calorie-friendly. But this way you're not retroactively trying to hit your calorie goal. If you pre-track everything you eat, you will hit your calorie goal every day no matter what. Yes, it will take you some more time, but you'll be more consistent with your calorie deficit and lose fat faster. And if you need to know how many calories you should be eating per day, use my free calorie calculator. Link is in my bio.
