Don Miller says ego blocks your real talents. The author and entrepreneur spent a half-day in Nashville after an interview about becoming self-made, and Miller's core insight is that removing ego reveals what you're actually good at, which leads to better performance.
It was in Nashville that I had the opportunity to spend a half day with Don Miller, maybe even more than that. After the interview on becoming self made, we went for a drive around. He shared something on the interview, but in different perspectives throughout the day. The necessity to diminish our egos and when our ego is ripped out of us, you really discover where your true natural talents are and you can perform much better. Ego is often the barrier to success is what I learned from Don Miller. It's a fascinating interview from a fascinating man. I hope you enjoy the episode.
