Mike writes multiple books by working with accountability partners like AJ through cabin retreats, daily Zoom sessions, and morning sprint groups. Most of what he writes gets thrown away, but he mines the occasional high-quality fragment to use in finished books.

A common question that I'm asked is, Mike, how do you write so many books? How do you get so much done? One technique is to have accountability with a partner. I don't write alone. I have someone that works with me, and AJ and I will do a cabin retreat and we'll just write and write. We're on Zoom all the time. We live nearby each other and we meet up. So it's having a partner. If you don't have a direct partner, join a sprint group. So another component I have is every morning I team up with other authors and we write together. And seeing other people writing motivates me to write. We spend an hour a day writing together and I get tons of writing done. Admittedly, most goes to the trash, but sometimes there's gold flakes to be extracted from that, and that's the stuff that goes into my books. Join or create a sprint, or get a partner, or both.
