In this solo YouTube monologue, Mike shares his personal morning ritual designed to set a powerful entrepreneurial mindset. He describes discovering a singing bowl in India, bringing it home, and using it as a tactile meditation aid. Each morning he chants the mantra “health, wealth, love and happiness,” first directing the intention toward himself, then extending it to his wife, children, extended family, community, business partners, country, and ultimately all humanity. He explains how the bowl’s resonant sound serves as a physical manifestation of his vibrations, helping him focus when traditional seated meditation is challenging. Mike frames the practice as a tool for entrepreneurs to align with the highest level of impact—serving the world—and ends with a rallying call to eradicate entrepreneurial poverty.

I think a perfect way to start the day is through a ritual. And I do certain components of exercise. And I've been trying meditation. That's the thing I've been struggling with. So I found something that I thought maybe you could use to set your mindset around the highest level of entrepreneurial impact we can have, which is impact changing the world, serving the world to be of service. Actually, I believe the most successful entrepreneurs do that. So I'm out on my deck. I have. I'm so blessed with this beautiful view of the woods. There's actually about 1500 square acres of protected land around us. And got my singing bowl. Funny thing is, I went to India, is where I discovered this thing. And I was like, this is the most amazing thing. India's got it figured out. We need this in America. I'm going to bring back dozens of these. So I bought up these from India, brought them home from my family and friends, and then went. Went to the local Spencers here and found out that singing bowls are everywhere. So not a grand discovery, but for me, this has been kind of a cool way to meditate. So let me show you what I do. I don't know if I'm gonna set this up correctly and try it out.
But I sit here in the morning when I wake up. Not consistently, not perfectly, but I say the same mantra. I say, health, wealth, love and happiness. And I first set this intention out for myself because I believe the root of what we want to experience has to come from within. Then I think of my wife, my children, health, wealth, love and happiness. And I do that again, and you can see as you circle around, it makes that singing noise, that chime rings. That noise, to me, becomes almost a manifestation of vibrations being sent out. It's a way for me to meditate. I can't easily just sit within my mind. That's a major struggle for me. This has been a wonderful tool because I can see. I can feel it going out. You can actually feel it in your hands and through your body, and you can feel it going out. So health, wealth, love and happiness. So I then think of my extended family, I think of my community, I think of my business partner, I think of my colleagues. I think of my state, our country, our world. And I think of you. Even though we may not know each other in person, I try to visualize the entire set of humanity in which health, wealth, love and happiness for all of us. Because if we can achieve that, wow, the things we can do as a. As a world. So, yeah, just a little tool. It's called a singing bowl. Makes a beautiful sound.
And it's not necessary to go to India to get one. How do you start your day? Maybe you don't have a ritual or plan. Maybe this is a good starting point. All right. Entrepreneurs rule. Let's eradicate entrepreneurial poverty.
