Well, welcome to the Local Marketing Insight Live. And I just wanted to get started just a little bit early and for those people, just have a little bit of time to get involved and, and be part of the program. Today, what we're going to do is we're really going to dive into moving away from what we call spray and pray advertising, or sometimes we call it traditional marketing, using TV or radio or newspaper or any print advertising in general, even direct marketing, and hope that something comes of it. Typically, those have a return on your investment of about 1 to 3%. 3% is probably high, but it's not a real high number. And we're pretty excited because this is an arena we playing in. We own a company called Swing Point Media, and our whole goal is to help local business owners, specifically restaurants, attract more people to their restaurant and have them take action and make reservations. And so we're going to use some of the tools are available online. And we're going to talk today specifically about Facebook marketing. Now, if you have questions, my business partner, she's over here manning another computer. So if she have questions, please stop and ask those questions. We'd love to interact. Today we're really just going to talk about, hey, how do we use Facebook? In other words, how do we even set it up? And I'm not so much looking at, hey, how do we set up from creating a page and putting posts on there? What I see is most especially in my immediate area, most restaurants are really good at making a Facebook page and attracting people and putting posts on there regularly. But here's the downside of this, and we've been talking about this for years. We would speak every week and what would happen about two years ago, maybe three years ago now, Facebook said, hey, we're going to change the rules. Many, many people and companies were building their business on this platform. And before this immediate change happened, you'd put a post there and 80 to 90% of the people that are your fans, if you had a thousand fans, eight or nine hundred people would see your message and it would move the needle. Something would happen. But unfortunately, what happened was, and hey, they run a business, they decided to change the algorithm and literally overnight, now your post reached a number that was very, very small. Sometimes it was 1 to 5%. Well, now you had a thousand fans and you can see now you're reaching maybe a hundred people, maybe 300 people, tops. And with the conversion rate being in that 10 to 20%, you weren't getting the bang for your buck as you were before now, we started preaching a long time ago. Ever since we started doing anything online, we said, hey, never build your business on rented land. That includes YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Periscope, whatever it is, Twitter. Do not build your business on rented land. It was really designed to do one thing. You want to use those platforms to get the eyes and attention of your. Of your potential client and then move them to your, I'm going to say your audience. And what I mean by is you're gathering, like, their name and email address and phone number in a way that you can now communicate with them. Even if Facebook, you know, doesn't exist or YouTube doesn't exist, you still have that audience that you can speak to. Now, one of our kind of taglines is with an audience, all things are possible.
So as people start coming, I see more and more people coming. I just want to welcome you again. My name is Jeff Harrison with swingpoint Media, and today we're going to talk about Facebook advertising and really start at the very beginning, like, hey, how do I even open up a Facebook advertising program? And we're going to show you how to do that. Today. We're really talking about leveraging some of the amazing things that are available with Facebook. Now, again, we won't get into it today, but in our next week, we're going to be here every week. And by the way, if you're thinking, hey, I'm going to sell something, in the end, forget about it. This is all about giving and delivering solid content that you can say, hey, you know what? What I learned today, I can now put in my business and I can use this one actionable item and I can start seeing something change. So today it's about, if you don't have your Facebook advertising set up, this is going to show you how to get started. Now, there are several types of advertising that you can use on Facebook, and one is the old you can boost your post. Now, we're not a fan of that. I'm not going to condemn it. I'm just going to say we're not a fan of it. It's probably not your best place to put your dollars if you're interested in boosting it. Let me just put a P.O. box in there. You can just send the money to me or just basically, you can PayPal me. Unfortunately, that's the effect of boosting a post. We want to talk about using things like your ad manager so we can target specific demographics of who we want to talk to. If you're just joining us, I see more and more people coming on, just joining us, we're talking about changing from more of a traditional type of advertising model into a more specific target market. And many, many times I would use the example when I'm speaking public and I'll say, if you're going to go fishing, you want to know before you go fishing, hey, what kind of fish do you want to catch? Once you decide on that, then you can say, now I know where to go that these fish hang out. This is where. This is the particular lake, this is the stream, this is river, whatever it is. Now you're going to that specific place. The other thing, what do you need is you need the right kind of bait. We call that an offer. So you'll find, as you join with me, hey, I'm just a kid from West Texas, so I try to keep things very, very simple. And so we're going to go fishing for those ideal clients, and we're going to learn how along the way to say, hey, how do we define that ideal target market? And we're going to show you, within the confines of Facebook, how to specifically talk to those people. So unlike if you put a radio or TV or a newspaper ad out there and it goes to everybody in your city, you and I both know we could agree on this one thing. Everybody in your city is not your ideal target market. That's right. Not everybody in your city is your ideal target market. But you're paying to be in front of people that have no interest in your product. Could you agree with that? I mean, that's just the way it is. So with Facebook, we can say the only people we want are the people that are most. And write this down. That are most likely to engage with your product or service that you offer. And so today, that's what we're going to dive into. So give me just a second. So we're going to move away from my big full screen, and we're going to go on screen, and we're just going to get right into it. So let's.
So what we're going to do is, first of all, we're just going to go to my page and let's go to that now. So basically what we're doing is we have gone to my personal page, and the first thing we're going to do is we want to click up here on the. On the top, right next to that little globe. It's kind of. It's kind of grayed out, but you can see it up there. And you want to Go back down here. You want to say if this is the first time you've done this, then you want to create ads. And you'll see this right down here where I've highlighted it and you just hit create ads.
And it'll load up some stuff in there. We have some things. This is my personal page.
And the first thing you're going to be coming to. And this is the coolest part because Facebook Ads Manager will basically walk you right through this. And that's what it's called up here at the top left, it's Facebook Ads Manager. And if you can see down here in the left column, it basically says, hey, if I just follow this process, it will take me right through. And next thing you know, I have an ad ready to go. So we're going to take this a little bit at a time because this is like an elephant. We're going to eat this baby one bite at a time. I by the way, if you're not signed up, we'd love for you to join our weekly program that we put out every Tuesday. It's called Local Marketing Insight. We'll have a link below this later on today and you can click on that and sign up for it. We'd appreciate you doing that. These are pre recorded events, the Local Marketing Insight. This is Local Marketing Insight live where again, you can interact with what's going on. So, so here we go. So the first thing we just say is, hey, we're going to have a campaign. And the first thing it's going to ask you is what's your objective? I mean like, why are you doing this? It's the same thing. If you have a restaurant, what is your objective? Is it to serve breakfast? Is it to serve lunch? Is it to serve dinner? Is it to serve all three of them? Or two out of the three, what is that? And so this is the same thing. Now, when it comes to marketing, there are three objectives. One is awareness, one is consideration, and the third is conversion. So when we talk about awareness, we're talking about building a brand. And most of time something like this is reserved for, or I don't want to say reserved, but most of the people that will do this and the business will do this, they're like the name brands, the big brands that we know of and they're just putting their brand out there. They're really not selling anything. They're just every time you see them, it's like, there it is. It's the Juicy Fruit, it's the, it's a Starbucks Whatever it is, we just see it. They're really not selling us anything. They just want to keep their brand in our brains. And so what we see is we see the consistent color. Coca Cola red and white. Correct. Okay. We see some that give us a jingle. The silver bullet for beer. Those are reserved for awareness ads. So if you're in a business, let's say you're a very well established restaurant and you've got a good flow and you just want to keep your name brand out there, this would be a good place for you to go because you can localize that advertising, say, hey, within my market, imagine you drop this pin on this map, this virtual map, and we'll get into this a little bit later. But you drop a pin in the map, you can say, hey, I want people a mile away, five miles away, 10 miles away, 50 miles away to see this ad. And you could stop right there and everybody in there would have the opportunity to see your ad. Now, I don't suggest that for one big reason. I feel like when you do that and you don't put any other, let's say, criteria of who's going to see that ad, that's just like putting an ad in the newspaper and hoping you'll see that some of your message will get on the people that are most likely to use your information. But this is brand awareness. Let's move to the next one consideration. People are aware of your product. In this case, let's say they're aware of your restaurant. And we want to move them from they're aware of your restaurant to they're considering making a decision. They haven't made a decision, but they're considering making a decision. So we'll do that through these five areas. Through traffic, through engagement, through app insights, through videos, lead generation, and most of time, here's what we recommend. Because it is so powerful. With a billion views a day on Facebook and a billion views a Day on YouTube, we know that video is incredibly powerful. And this is a place where you should be hanging out. The neat thing about this is not everyone is using video the way we recommend it. It's one of those things where videos can really.
I guess, grab the attention of your audience and also be used to help sell people or move them through this whole learning funnel, if you will. Like if you could have a video for awareness and then when somebody is aware of your information, you can use something we call remarketing and then put something in there, another video that might show maybe a chef that's creating your Signature dish and inviting people to take action and click here for a. A coupon. In other words, your video can do all the heavy lifting. And it runs 24, 7, 365 if you'd like. And it never stops working. All you have to do is fund it, if you will, because we're talking about paid advertising here. So we really are big fans of using video. And the last one would be conversion. This is where you're converting that audience, that traffic, if you will, into a buying customer. So they're buying your product online. They're, they're making reservations online, a lot like open table, if you will. Hey, when you put on open Table, it's like, hey, I've made a reservation. But this might take it even further where like you've got their credit card, you've already charged it, the money is in the bank, and now they need to show up. So these are the three stages. Awareness, consideration and conversion. And we have to decide with each restaurant. We're talking to each business owner. Talking to, where are you at in this stage? Well, I'm going to recommend that you start, at least start in the consideration and, and set the awareness aside again, because awareness is a very. I'm going to say it's hard to track your return on your investment. At the end of the day, our goal is not to be a liability on your bottom line, but to be an asset. In other words, for every dollar you make, you get a return greater than that. So if you put a dollar in, you get $2 back. You would play that game all day long. Well, in awareness, in brand building, a lot of times you're going to put a dollar in and you're not going to get anything back. And if you're prepared for that, that's cool. But most of the time when you put that in there, you're wanting something back if you're like us. Okay, so let's see, let's take this the next step. And let's say we're going to go video views.
And today again is not so much about the heavy lifting and exactly how to do this, but just to kind of set this up. So if I choose whatever I choose, the next thing it's going to ask me is, hey, I have to name the campaign. So I'm just going to put video sample.
Okay. And I'm going to hit continue.
And the next thing, if you notice on the left side here, we went from campaign, we chose a campaign. Now we want objective and now we're doing in the Area we call ad set. This is where we start. Define our audience. Now, this part, I don't want to say can get complicated, but it can. And so I'm going to leave this very, very simple. So right now, if you look here on the right side, and this can sometimes, if this is your first time in this, this can get exciting because you're going, wow, here's my potential reach.224 million people. That's too big. That's too many people. Because here's a saying, when you try to talk to everyone, no one listens. We want to talk to our ideal target audience. So here's the idea. When you opened up your business, and specifically, if you open up your restaurant, imagine, if you will, that you were trying to serve all kinds of dishes from your restaurant. Can you imagine how complicated it would be in the kitchen and how big that menu would be? It would be overwhelming. And so the goal is, hey, you're going out, and you're not fishing with a couple of hooks. You're fishing with this huge net, and hopefully something will get in it. Well, you can do that. We would rather say, hey, let's talk to the people who are most likely to take action and take advantage of our program and our offer. So what we want to do is, if this is the first time down, you're going to say, here's an example. Everyone in the location. So let's just say we say, all right, we want to talk to everybody in Denver, Colorado. Okay, so we go to Denver, Colorado, and we go to the city.
And so you see what pops up. All of a sudden we have this circle around it. And you see up here at the top, right here, it says, Denver, Colorado, 25 miles. And you can see here, I can adjust this down from anywhere from 10 to as high as 50 miles. Okay? So the idea is. And you can do anything in between, because believe it or not, not every city is exactly 5, 10, 15. So you can say, hey, I want to go 12 miles. And then it will go in a radius of 12 miles. And you might say, in this situation, everyone within 12 mile radius will see your advertising. Okay? So right now we're just building the audience. We're. We're deciding who wants to see our audience. And then we want to get down to, hey, how old is our audience? What's our average age? This is where I want you to look back and think, okay, I know people coming to my restaurant. They may be between 18 and 65, but who are the people that are most likely to come out of my restaurant. Who are the ones that are those returning customers that are always coming in? Oh, you know, Jeff, they are actually between, you know, 40. Let's just use that as an example. They come down here and say they're between 40 and 65. In other words, it's an older clientele. They tend to, instead of glass of wine, they tend to get a bottle of wine. Instead of getting just, let's say a salad and their entree, they tend to get an appetizer, salad, entree, and they always get a dessert, even if they split it among the four. In other words, it makes your ticket a little bit larger. Well, we want to attract more of those people. And then you look and say, what's the gender, Male or female? Well, you need to look and say who are the most the time look on your reservation book. Who makes the reservations? I can honestly say, without a doubt, my wife makes the reservations. Most of the time, if we're going someplace, it's not because of me, it's because of her. And when we go in and the mater d or whoever greets us is says, and the reservations under what name? I always say my wife's name because that's who made the reservation. I'm just so happy to be there. So you might look at that and say, who's the one that's most likely to make the reservations? And let's, for this example, let's say women. Okay. And then we talk about languages. By the way, if this is the first time you've come here, this is our first episode, and we're talking about using Facebook to really attract and convert more people using Facebook advertising. And right now what we're going to do today is we're going to go through the campaign, the objective, which we've done, and also the ad set before we build the ad, because it's a little bit more complicated. Not really complicated. It's just a little more in depth. It's going to take a little more time. We'll save that for next week. Okay. So right now we're really designing who do we want to have see our information.
By the way, here's a little stat from Harvard. Right now, about 90% of people making decisions are making that decision through a mobile device. That's right. Through a mobile device. And that's true at any age. So when we design this, you'll have an opportunity to say, what, do I want to show it to mobile? Do I want to show it to laptop? Do I want to send it to desktop. Where do I want to do that? This is pretty cool because again, we want to make sure when we go fishing, again, our example of fishing is, is we want to say we want to go where they are and if they're in this river, but they're only at this portion of the river, we want to put our bait and our hook in the water in that river. We want to put our message in front of them, only in front of that spot. So if they're Facebook and they're on their mobile devices, we want them to be able to see this and design it so they'll see it. Okay, now, language. Well, you know, it depends on where you are out in the world. This is a broadcast that's going out throughout the world. But you might say, hey, the majority of my people, or the majority of people, I live in a Hispanic area. I have a Mexican food restaurant. The majority of my audience are people local around me and they'll speak Spanish. Well, you can certainly set that. Most of us or most of the time you'll just say, hey, I'm just going to leave that blank. Okay, now we get to the fun part. Detailed targeting. And I'm not going to get too deep in this, but I want you to notice here on the right side what's happened. Just because we added, hey, we're in Denver and we're only a certain distance away. Right. We're 12 miles within from the city center of Denver. We're looking for people 40 to 65 and only women. Guess what? Now our reach has changed. It's 490,000 people. Remember, it was 224 million. So still, that's pretty large. Probably too large for what we're looking for. This is where we'll start reducing that and get even more laser sharp. So when we put our ad in front of someone, those are the people that. And you'll hear me say this a lot, most likely to take action and say yes. So here are some things we can put on here. So we'll put on here demographics or interest behaviors and more categories. So let's just quickly take a look at some of these. So we can, when I say demographic, we can look by their education level. Are they college? Do they have some college? Are they high school graduates? Are they master's degrees? Yes, they know all this stuff now. How do they know this? Well, let's face it.
Facebook knows more about us than our mothers and our fathers do. They know so much about us that we can now use those tools and interests. If you will to put our messages in front of people that are most likely to buy our information. So we talk about education, also financial, believe it or not. You can now, and I'll just open this up here a second. When we talk about, do we want to say, hey, do we want to target people by their income levels or do we want to talk about their net worth? So as an example, let's say, for instance, if you own a restaurant and you're running a restaurant that says, hey, you know, our average plate is $50 and above, right? Well, you don't want to. You want to not show that to somebody who makes 30, $40,000 a year. Probably not. You're probably into some place that they probably make more like 100, 150 plus. Right? So you can actually put that in there. So let's just. I'll drop that down and let's say. So you can start on low, and let's say you want somebody that says 150 to 250,000. Okay, so just that one little tick. Look at it. It changed it from 490 to. There's still 100,000 people. That would still be your ideal target audience. And you can put several in there. You can say, well, I want people more. But let's just go back to the income and say, what about net worth? Well, you can put the net worth in there and say, well, those people typically are between a million and $2 million. That's their net worth. Let's watch that number change again. Oh, wow. Actually increased it because it went up 150,000 people. Now, here's the other question is. Well, Jeff, how. How does Facebook know my net worth and potential income? Well, it's about five, maybe six years ago now. They combined with.
Experian, and because Experian and Facebook saw that sharing that information would be beneficial to both sides. So we have a very good idea of your income, your net worth, as well as where you went to school, did you go to college, some college. In other words, all these kind of things. Now the next thing is, what about their home? Well, believe it or not, when he goes to home, we can say, do they own their home? What type of home?
And when we say home type, is it apartment, condo? We can actually put in their home value. This is crazy stuff. Crazy good, by the way, so we can really get narrowed down on this. And again, I don't want to tell you this to overwhelm you. I don't know about you, but just talking about, for me, my neck hair Starts to stand up. Because I can now speak to the ideal target audience and I can attract people just like you came today to say. The only people I want to see this message are really restaurant owners, because that's the message I want to talk to about restaurant owners versus if I wanted to talk to automobile dealerships, I would have targeted only automobile dealerships and employees of automobile dealerships. So they would see this message and see how powerful it is and how it could literally move the needle to sell more cars. So let's go back and say, okay, if we say home type, let's say life events right now, we have a campaign going on right now that's pretty exciting that we say it's about their birthday or their anniversary. But here's the thing. In this situation, we wouldn't use it here so much. We would use it to narrow that off because. Narrow that on because still, 150,000, that might be a little large. But what that tells us now, if you notice it says estimated daily reach. In other words, how many people would your ad get in front of on an average daily basis? Somewhere between 2,300 and 7,500 people. Now that sounds again, really, really exciting. But I want you to now visualize, Close your eyes. Unless you're standing in your restaurant, what's your seating capacity? I mean, while that's all well and good, could you seat 2300 people in your restaurant? Probably not. And so that's still too large. So let me just show you how we would make that smaller. So we come down here and we say narrow the audience. So now what we do is we come down here now at audience and we go to interest. And we might now start knocking out some of these things where the type of people that would be really good for us, maybe they're foodies. So if we type in foodie or food TV network, maybe they watch food tv. Yeah, that's right. That's exactly right. So if they watch, they have an interest in food tv. Let's see what happens. Numbers change on the right estimates of your audience are now unavailable. Maybe it's too small. Maybe we did it too small. So let's take that out of there.
I'm going to go back to this life events real quick. And let's say, for instance, you would like to attract people to have anniversaries coming up. So we say anniversary 31 to 60 days from now or within 30 days. Well, if you're trying to move the needle and get people in there, you might say, hey, I want people within 30 days and.
They have an anniversary coming up. Now watch this. Watch what happened now. There's 1200 people in this Denver area within 12 miles, age of 40 to 65 women making this kind of money, this net worth, that have an anniversary within 30 days. So now you're reaching somewhere between 240 and 910 people a day. And about 180 to 700 people will view your video every day. Now we're on track to something. Okay, so this is building your audience.
Amy, do we have any questions? Not yet. Not yet. Good. That means I'm making this very, very simple and very, very clear. So you notice what we did. First of all, we said, hey, there's some detailed targeting. Who are we looking for? Men, women? We're looking for a certain age bracket, then about their financial status, and then, hey, what's that life event? In this case, we just pulled up an anniversary within 30 days. You can actually see.
One of our programs that we have running right now for restaurants of how to attract more people for birthdays. It's a pretty cool thing because here's the thing, unlike an anniversary, I want you to think about that. Usually when you have an anniversary, who comes? Usually it's the two people, right, that are married. It's the husband and wife or whatever the mixture there is. It's those two people coming, right? But when it's a birthday, usually you want to celebrate that with your friends and family. And so that is now a much bigger audience as far as who comes into your restaurant. So instead of two people coming in, it might be six or 10 people. And you can control that as well. So that's something that we have working as well, an audience of that. The next thing is we want to say.
Connections, Facebook pages, apps, events, and we'll go to advanced. Whoops, let's take that back.
And then we'll come down here for placements. Do you want automatic or edit placements? Let's look at edit placements.
Because here is where we're going to say, okay, we want to show up on Facebook and Instagram or audience network or all three. And now if you didn't know this, I'm sure you probably do. But if you didn't know this, Instagram is owned by Facebook. So you could actually, with one click be on both platforms. I wouldn't recommend doing that right now because of this reason. We're talking about using a video and a video on Instagram if it's over a certain period, if it's Over a certain number of seconds, it won't play. So we want to stay on Facebook. So what we're going to do is we're going to take this off, we're going to untick that. And an audience network is like.
Facebook has a relationship with a lot of different companies and a lot of different websites. And they're saying, hey, when you get an ad, we'll put it on your audience network. We'll put that out there. Well, we don't know for sure who that is, so it might not be your ideal target audience. So it might be a waste of your time. So we're going to untick that and then we're going to pull down Facebook and say in Facebook, where are we going to send it? We're going to send it to the news feed. Instant articles in stream or the right column? Well, we're going to take it out of the right column. I think everybody knows that that's over here on the right, like we're seeing right now. We're going to take it out of that in stream videos. No, we're not going to do that. That's a new thing they're starting to do. In other words, if I have a video on there, they're now starting to do just like we see on YouTube in stream advertising, which is kind of neat. That's another opportunity for them to make money and for us to get in front of our ideal target audience. I'd rather not do that. And instant articles. Nope, we're only going to show it in our news feeds. Okay.
Let'S see. Oh, here's an interesting thing. On the advanced options, you have the advanced options now to say, do I want on mobile devices only, Android devices only, iOS devices only, or feature phones only. I'm going to leave it on mobile devices. Remember we said 90% of those decisions are made on mobile devices. And when you do that, you can say only when connected to Wi Fi. If you're going to do this and you have a video, that's probably not a bad idea because what happens if you get a video on there and let's say it's only 90 seconds, we recommend this particular video for an ad being probably two minutes or less.
And really more like 30 seconds. Because this is just to get their attention to take action. We don't want to eat up their data plan. So it only show whenever they're connected to Wi Fi. So if you're at home, you're at Starbucks, you're at some point someplace where you're on free WI fi, that would be a good idea. So you might want to tick that. Okay.
Let'S see. Let's go down.
And.
We'Re going to say only on connected. And now we're going to set our budget. Okay, so here's the interesting thing. You can set a daily budget and you can put in there as little as $5 a day, even a dollar a day, and you can put up as much as you would like. Now there's a daily budget and there's a lifetime budget. Now, what's the difference? Well, the daily budget is just what it says. You're going to spend this much per day and no more. So in this example, now our reach is 1200 people, potential reach with somewhere between 250 and 640 views a day. So if we put in there $10 as an example, let's just put in $10 and see what happens. Okay, so it's 180 to 500 people a day. Well, that means if you decide, hey, I'm going to run this campaign for 30 days, the maximum you're going to show or maximum you're going to spend is $300, you're going to be able to really make sure that you're not going to exceed $300. So you're totally in control of your budget. I like that. The other thing is, is there's a lifetime budget and you can set that up the same way you said. Okay, you know what, there's 30 days I'm going to set up for $300. But here's the other thing I like about this. You can actually set a schedule of when you want it to show so you can have it start on a certain date. We're doing this on May 17th of 2017, which 1041. So we're running that and then we want to end it, let's say for a month. There you go. So it says your ads will run starting Saturday, June 17, and you'll spend up to up to $300 total. In other words, when I get the $300, it shuts off the ad. Now here's what I like about this. When we click the advanced options, the way we do this is it says, hey, is it automatic or manual? We'll leave it on automatic. And then we come down here and say, run the ads all the time. Now what that means is 365. In other words, 30 days, 24 hours a day. Well, maybe you want to not run it 24 hours a day. Maybe you only run it you say, hey, my best time times are not 12am to 6am Maybe it's more like let's say 9am to 6pm because by 6pm they've already made a decision where they're going to eat. Right. And they're not thinking about dinner before 9am so you can actually have that run between 9am and 6pm for the next 30 days and you totally control it. This is not available if you decide to do a daily budget. It's only available if you do a lifetime. We like that because we're more in control of that. And it's only going to use the viewers time zone. So it's nine o'. Clock. So if for some reason you did more of a global or US advertising, if it said between 9am and 6pm That's West coast time or east coast time. So if I'm on the east coast, it's between my 9am and 6pm Right. So it's on my timeframe. So you can do it that way. So that's another way you can do that. And then delivery type, you can say standard or there's more options. And this is accelerated. So remember when we're talking about anniversaries and they're happening within the next 30 days and maybe they haven't made a decision, so what you're trying to do is accelerate getting your message out there as quickly as possible, get as many reservations as possible. You might select accelerated. So in other words, just going to show it to a lot more people as quickly as possible to try to get more of your reservations. That might be a good way to go. So here's what we've done in the last half hour. We've talked about, hey, there's a campaign. What's our objective? We've defined the audience. We've decided, hey, where are we going to show this? Facebook feeds. And then we talked about our budget and schedule. We're spending $300 maximum and we're doing this over 30 days and we're doing it from 9am to to 6pm if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to put them in the in the chat box below or in the comments. And we'll monitor that and we'll get back with you and let you know about that. If you'd like to know more information, you can always see us on Swingpoint Media, that's on Facebook. And we're also, every Tuesday at 10 or excuse me, every Tuesday we release a new program. This is a videotape program called Local Marketing insight. And these are ideas that cover a broad range of topics anywhere from using live streaming. I mean, imagine you doing live streaming and saying, hey, we're going to do a live streaming cooking show from our back. I mean, from the back in the kitchen. And we do this once a week. And we're going to attract people that like our kind of food, and they kind of almost get to go behind the scenes in the kitchen. My wife is a foodie. She's a chef. She loves that kind of stuff. If she can ever go behind in someone's kitchen and see what's going on or actually talk to the chef, well, this is their opportunity. You can do live videos just like this for that reason. But anyway, that's a place you can get it. And then every Wednesday at 10:30 and usually for about a half an hour, we'll run this program. Now next week, we're going to talk about building the ad. So we're actually going to take the assets, we're going to put them in Facebook, and we're actually going to. We're not going to turn it on, but we're going to show you, hey, what do you need to do? And how easy it is to put this together so that you can start moving needles. So here's your homework. Start thinking about your objective. And if you don't have, if you've never been in this portion, if you've never been in this Facebook process, then I recommend you go back and say, hey, let's get started. What is it? I'm going to go to the campaign. I'm going to walk through there and I'm just going to set these things up.
Then wait for me for the ads and we'll do the ads with you and we'll show you how to set that up. So if you have any questions, any questions before we sign off, that's it. We're in good shape. So I want to thank you for joining us. My name is Jeff Harrison. I'm with Swing Point Media. We're a full media digital marketing agency. And really what we get paid for is you pay us to help you attract and turn people that are your ideal audience into leads and reservations.
