The Best Online Training - What Everyone Should Know About Video Analytics

Recording of a live workshop (uploaded to YouTube) led by Jeff For Local Marketing and colleagues about video analytics, video content strategy, and using video to drive local SEO and website traffic. Covers key metrics (views, completion, drop-off, click-through), audience targeting (ideal client, demographics), content strategy (PAS: Problem, Agitate, Solution), distribution tactics (YouTube thumbnails, titles, duplicating/location-specific videos) and measuring conversions (email capture, landing pages).

Today we're going to talk about analytics. I'm going to skip the introduction because I think everybody's been here before. Everybody knows Andrew with autopilot, your business. And Amy's in the back running the cameras. And for those of you out there watching, hopefully a few people watching this.
Morning, if for some reason you miss or you say, hey, I want to.
Go back and watch this, it will be available on YouTube within 24 hours. Okay? So if you're interested in getting that link, just let us know, send that to you because we're live streaming, capturing it and of course you're live here.
So today we're going to talk about video analytics.
And I kind of call this.
These are true breadcrumbs of success.
Because sometimes it comes in little pieces and when we put it all together.
It'S like a puzzle piece and depends.
On what your strategy, what your content.
What it really is, on how many pieces you have.
Is it a three piece puzzle?
Is it a thousand piece puzzle? What is that and how good are you putting together?
Once you put it together, it's pretty consistent of what you're looking for. So how many of you actually use.
Video now in your business or on your websites? One person, two people.
What kind of things do you look.
For whenever you have a video?
Do you look at the analytics on a video, like anything?
No.
When you made your video, how did you decide on what to make the video about?
It's Jim, isn't it?
No, it's Dean.
Dean.
Dean.
Okay, well, number one, I didn't make the video. And it's the first video that we've got on our website.
Okay.
It's actually a video. It's sort of an introduction video to.
A piece of software that we use. Okay, good. So it's an interest.
It was made for us by the software.
Oh, I got you.
Okay. All right.
And how's it done?
It's brand new. It's like within a week, so it's really too early to tell.
Okay, so you don't know if there's any views or anything like that.
Okay, that's why I'm here.
Good, good.
I have an explainer video. It's an animation that I hired someone to do.
Okay.
And just kind of positions my business.
And how's that working out?
Well, I mean, I don't follow any, you know, I don't analyze what. Whether people watch it or not. When they go to iOS, it's on my home page.
So just kind of just put it there and forget about it.
Yeah.
Okay, good.
I'm just getting a guy to actually start. So is the preliminary preparation way before production?
Absolutely.
He's just starting to get going. Tell me what he thinks I should do.
Okay, good. How's he determining that?
I'm just curious.
Well, I've been on my website, so I've said this is the existing material. I want you to publish that on the website.
I want you to bring traffic back to the website.
What do you think? Yeah, so I've got some ideas myself, but I want his ideas.
Cool. You got a question or comment?
You sure? I'm not moving on to you. Okay.
So, you know, one of the things.
We want to look at is.
And this is probably.
And you might want to write this.
Down, this is the biggest mistake most people make, whether it's individuals or companies.
When they're making videos or actually making.
Content that they make, they make or create and share things that they feel are important to them.
And all of a sudden they say, nobody's looking at my videos. Nobody's reading my content, nobody's coming to my website. And it's because we don't really care about you. Now, don't take that personally, but I want you to. We don't care about you. Nobody cares that I own this business.
Right.
Nobody cares that I made the box for Band Aid. Nobody cares that I made the packaging from Band Aid. They only care for if it gives them a solution.
Yes.
Okay, so whenever you make a video, the first thing you should do, and.
This is a little off track, but.
It'S really important for this analytics to show up, is make something that solves.
A problem with your ideal client.
Okay, Like, Robert, what is your client's ideal.
Your ideal client, what's their problem?
What's their.
What's their problem?
What's their problem? Getting quality nutrition, I guess.
Okay, now, I put you on kind.
Of the hot seat because you're out.
There marketing your stuff and you're meeting.
People all the time, but it's almost.
Like going to the mall and there's no signs, and you don't know exactly what you're looking for. You're just kind of hoping to stumble upon something that says, hey, I like your stuff.
I like your cookie.
Right?
It says, what is my ideal target market?
And then zero in on that and make sure whatever your messages are from that point forward appeal and solve that ideal client's problem. Does that make sense, Nicole?
Like, what does your ideal client look.
Like, and what problem are you solving?
For me?
Mainly hair, beauty problems. A client that doesn't have enough hair, can't create fullness and volume and sometimes need tips and tricks on product and styling to do. Easy to do at home.
Wow, Is that a video library right there?
In itself.
Right.
Do you think that would attract traffic?
If all of a sudden, let's say, for instance, you have somebody and we've all seen it where people are. And I'm not talking about men, I'm.
Talking about women, Right?
Yes.
That they have thinning hair.
Same thing for men too, because they'll sell it a certain way.
Okay?
Now come on.
Now we'll talk.
Let's keep it just at the rate, guys. We're a little sensitive about that, Stu.
Okay?
But now let's really zero down a little tighter. Does a majority of your people come.
From the male or female?
Thank you.
So it's like one of those things.
It's like 80% of your business comes from the female. I would set that 20% aside.
If somebody comes in, just accidentally finds me.
Fantastic.
But I'm not, I'm not.
I don't say waste, but I'm not putting a lot of time or effort into that 20%.
I'm fishing.
Where? You know what that stock, that pond is stocked with the ideal fish I'm looking for.
Right. So when you're making your videos, would you make it appealing to women or men or both sexes?
Thank you.
Now let's talk about how old those people are.
What's your ideal client?
Do you see people of your age?
She's much younger.
For those who can't see her on camera. Are those people your age or are they older? Older.
So what's your ideal client look like.
Between the age of 33 to 55?
Okay, good.
So who would she feature in her videos? An 18 year old kid.
No, I shouldn't say kid.
An 18 year old individual or somebody.
In that age group.
Right.
Why? Why would they do that?
I'm sorry, I was talking to you about 30.
Thousand.
We're still there.
It would be one of those things where you want to try to put somebody in your video that looks like your ideal client.
Why, Robert?
What's that now? I lost my turn.
We're still on the 30.
The 50D order.
Here's the thing.
Nailed it. It's because I can now associate with.
That person on that camera.
That video.
Hey, they look like me.
They're my age group.
I can associate with them. Right.
How many of you looked at one.
Of these weight loss thing and you're.
Going, I can't even associate with that.
You got to see it, and it's.
Just ripped with muscles. And you're like, I'm just starting. But the videos that are incredibly valuable are those ones that kind of take you through the event. Hey, this is my before picture.
This is 30 days in.
This is 60.
And all of a sudden, a year later, you're going to, wow.
Hey.
If that person can do it.
Because I look like the before picture.
It motivates me to try.
Does that make sense?
So now they can relate.
So whenever you're making a video, ideal target market. And then make sure that's the type of person you're in your video. Okay, so let's go to the next.
Slide, because I don't remember what I had up there.
Oh, yeah. What are video analytics?
Anybody want to take a step back? What are video analytics?
Second, you go around? Here we go.
Okay.
Maybe how often it gets clicked on?
How many.
How often it gets clicked?
Yeah, I mean, page views, if it's.
On a particular page. Okay, good.
Page views.
Any idea, you might want to know where they go after they see the video.
Yeah. Okay.
What time of day it comes in.
What time of day?
Very good. Janelle, what do you think? Any idea what video analytics might be to you?
No.
It's okay, Robert. Who's watching the video?
All right.
Who's watching the video?
Where do they come from?
Where do they come from? Absolutely.
How could you find out?
How could you find out?
Are you asking me? Are you saying.
I'm asking you.
God, I wish I knew. That'd be a really good seminar, wouldn't it?
Let's find out. Let's go to the next slide. All right, so here are some key metrics.
Now, I'm gonna keep this puzzle kind of small because, again, most of you, if you do, you do a lot of things with analytics. So let's keep it simple. Let's keep it a small puzzle. First of all, opens and views, right?
That's important. How many people are looking?
How many people are actually coming to my video? They're open, and they're viewing it now.
And if you go to that EVS.
Site, this is a lot. This is live.
This is one of ours called Easy.
Video Suite, and it actually is where.
We host a lot of our videos for our clients.
Okay.
So as an example, this is live right now.
So here's a total video.
We have a lot of videos there. There's 1074 on 13 different sites. Total place. $13,274.
Yeah. That's a problem? No, no, because we don't monetize the videos. Those are for our clients.
But if we scroll down, we can look at some things here. Like as an example, this shows a.
Video we just did. It hasn't even actually gone live.
We've only shared it with a very.
Small group of people. But here's an example. Its effectiveness is really high.
When we get into this green, for.
Us, it's a pretty high number. Drop off time is at 4 minutes and 37 seconds. Completion rate 55%, which is not bad in the industry, especially for those longer videos. It had 11 starts, six completions. And again, it's not designed for sales.
It's an information video.
Okay, how do you measure effectiveness?
How many people started and how many people finish it?
So it's just over 50%, 55%.
So if you take these numbers, that's.
Our 55%, the completion rate.
That's effectiveness.
You bet. Right.
Now, when we first started using this.
As an example, we did videos called Etiquette Moment Videos. And we were sharing it with country.
Clubs like Bermuda Dunes.
And we saw when it, when it went out to their group, their membership, they had an 82% completion rate.
That's almost unheard of.
But that was time after time after time again because they were answering questions.
They were solving problems, Robert, that that ideal client had. They were specifically for that group of people, golfers. Okay, so speed of play, what do you do?
And you know, what are the rules?
How to play faster without feeling like you're running. Those kind of things.
Okay, this is our most popular file right now. And it tracks this. So if we go down there and we look at the statistics, here's some cool things that this particular site will give us as we do this. If you look here, it says you should check the selection between zero and.
Nine seconds because that's where people are dropping off.
But 52% of the people that go.
Past that point will watch it all the way through.
Okay, so this one's had 693 plays. It's been up for. It has 248 complete, which is a 30, 36% completion rate. This is a fairly long video, so that's not unusual. And this rates it as the last time somebody really Pre plays on May 28th. Now this video is about what, six months old?
Five months old?
Yeah, so almost six months old now.
So it's still getting play as of yesterday.
It got some extra plays yesterday. Andrew and I went over there and watched that.
I'm Just kidding.
It also says, hey, where are the completed plays coming from?
All right.
It'll tell us where they place, where the people break down completed plays. Location. It's unknown.
Sometimes we don't know that. Right. It comes.
But in this case, because there's no plays, there's probably nothing there.
Exactly.
Most of the plays for this are.
Coming from the U.S. all right.
But it'll break that down. And it says, Hey, 3% are mobile devices, 97% are desktop users. And it says. Then it'll go through. Exactly. Hey, who did what?
Okay.
Firefox, Internet. If it's an iOS device, an iPad.
An Android, in other words, it's down that granular stuff going, you know, I just want to know if anybody's watching my video. I don't care where they're coming from. I want to know if anybody's watching it.
Right.
Okay.
And then you can go down here by the day of the week. You know, where's the most activity. This one kind of surprised me.
Sunday. But you know what? Statistically, it shouldn't surprise me, because out in the industry, this is when people tend to watch longer videos because they're off. They have a little bit of time. They're like reading the paper, except they're.
Watching a video Monday and Tuesday. Now Tuesday and Thursday, those are odd days.
I don't know why they watch them as much as they do.
I just know if I'm putting videos.
Out there, if I'm going to launch.
A video, what day would I put it on? Would I put it on Saturday or Tuesday?
Tuesday, you bet I would. Okay, so this helps me decide. Hey, when am I going to launch a video? I want to have a positive launch. Right? It's like if you're opening an ice cream store, when would you open it? In the summer or dead of winter?
Not here, but in, let's say, Minnesota.
It's pretty obvious, right? You'd open it in the summer when people wanted to eat ice cream and they're out on the boardwalk or wherever they're at.
Okay, so that's where this comes in for it. Actually. If you click that, you do a pull down, it'll say.
That'S when we.
Got the majority of our, you know.
December and January, we got the majority of our views.
Since then, it's dropped off because, again, it was a very targeted audience that.
We sent it to.
It's about the breakfast, so we were putting that out there.
Okay.
So this is where I go a.
Lot of times just to look at analytics.
Of our video for our clients.
Now, if you could pull up something from less.
Yesterday we have a new client, and he's typically here, but now he's probably.
So busy with the effectiveness of the video.
This was done yesterday.
Okay.
We made 17 videos for him and.
Is targeting the market.
And this is a. This is an example of what happens. Okay.
There's no sound, so it's okay to chat about. I won't be going through.
As it's coming up.
Now, Les is a real estate appraiser.
And he was not anywhere to be found. So this is an example, if you notice. Here's his YouTube video.
Okay.
He's the best real estate appraiser in Indian Wells.
And that happened.
We got him on the first page of Google in 52 minutes.
That's how quickly he can get on the first page. Now, why is it important to be.
On the first page, do you think?
Most people don't go beyond the first page?
Exactly right. Here's a statistic that is important, that.
91.5% of people who make decisions to.
Look at that stuff when they search.
Will never go past page one. So if you're on page two at the very top and you're not getting much activity, you just need to move up, like, one more spot. If you could do whatever you need to do to get there, video will help you do that.
Now, when we look through there, almost every video. Now, here he is, number one. And this was an hour just because.
It took me a little bit time.
To make these other little videos. But in an hour, he's on page one again for Heman.
He's not even in Hemet, but his.
Business is in Hemet, so he could.
Be anywhere he'd like. That's the cool thing about video.
We do a process called stacking. We get these videos on. On page one.
This was in one hour. So by the time we're done, those 17 videos are now on the first page of almost every search engine.
Yeah.
Even in an incredibly.
Yeah, he was really happy. I was really happy about that.
Even in a very, very competitive market.
Like real estate appraisers.
I mean, think about it. Imagine how many real estate appraisers are here in the desert.
There are gobs of.
But I got really excited because here's another one. How was that saying, oh, 40 minutes, 40 minutes.
Now record is 20. Or was it Amy? Is it 27 minutes? 27 minutes to page one.
Okay.
Now, the reason I bring this up is this. When I measure analytics, I look and say, where does the video fall as.
Far as ranking is concerned? Because if it's not on page one, I don't care how good the video is, nobody's really going to see it.
Your traffic is not going to be seen. Okay, so the thing I look at.
Is how do you get on page.
One or do something on page one? Let's go back to what we talked about. Identify your ideal target market. Identify the problem and make videos or content about how to solve that problem. Now here's a little, here's a little.
Here'S a little acronym.
Pas.
Pas.
And use this when you write written content. If you're doing a live presentation, if you're doing a video, identify the problem.
P for problem.
This is the next one. The A is where most people miss.
They miss it big. In fact, it causes them to do.
All this work and then not get any of the benefits.
And I just did. It's called agitate. Agitate. Like as an example, Robert, I'm going to pick on you for a second.
Are you tired of going to the street fair and not get any follow up information?
After that, people come by your booth and they say they like your stuff.
But when you pack up, you have nothing but empty packages. You have no names, no phone numbers, no email addresses.
And it makes continuing your business very difficult.
Right?
There's a problem.
Agitated, in fact, because.
You walk away with no names, no email addresses or anything.
You're making no money except the night you're there.
Isn't that painful?
Well, if you'd like a solution to.
That, there's the s. The solution.
Well, if that's truly Robert's challenge, do you think I'm going to kind of get his attention?
I think I would.
Wouldn't you click on that, Robert, if you knew if that fit you right.
You say, God, I want a solution to that.
Okay, so that's what you want to do.
And then you put it up here and you title it the way we've done here. The best real estate appraiser in your backlit.
Okay?
Because when we look on there, we're saying, hey, first of all, we engineered these things from the ground up. We kind of reverse engineer.
We're saying, what are people looking looking for? And then we make a video that fills that void and we just put it out there, right? How many people do you think or how many times you see somebody open a store and you go in and.
Say, why did you open the store?
Well, it's because I love to do this, but there's no market for it. And then they fail. Instead of saying, wait a second, how.
Many people have thinning hair?
Do you have any idea? A ton.
Okay.
Wouldn't it be exciting if I said.
You know, there's 239 million people in.
The US alone that have thinning hair. Would that get you excited? But I say, you know, only about 200,000 are men. And you've been focusing on men and.
Wondering why your sales aren't so good. You think if you just made that.
One little change, it would make a big difference.
Right.
So that's what we do here. Say on this one, I don't think you can see that there. But on the one just for palm.
Desert, there's 893,000 local searches a month for.
Real estate appraisers.
You think he's going to get some activity off of that?
It's probably why Les isn't here this.
Morning, because he's in 17 different cities now.
And people are looking at people buying.
And selling homes every day. Real estate agents are looking for an appraiser. Lawyers are looking for in predators.
So those are some of the things.
That I look at. Okay. And you should look at when you.
Make this from the ground up.
And this is what our company does.
Okay.
All right, let's go back. Question. Yes.
When you're titling them.
Do you.
Is each one of those a separate video? If it says Yucca Valley and then Indian Wells and Nepal Desert, or should you just go for a broad scape like Coachella Valley?
I say do both.
Okay.
Yeah.
This is prior to prompting them to click on to see the video, isn't it?
That's just the title I'm referring to. The title is that. I mean, that's what's going to catch their attention.
Yes. Let's take just a second here.
Okay.
The best real estate appraiser in Yucca Valley.
All those terms are now keywords.
So if somebody looks up, appraiser Yucca Valley probably show up.
Okay.
So each one of those is going to be a different.
I don't even know how to do a video or how to post them or any of that.
Okay, so these are.
So in other words, this video, I.
Think you're asking, are the videos all.
Different in the eyes of YouTube? The answer is yes.
And this is what makes it different.
If you pull up this video, what's.
Going to show up is it's going.
To have a branding or Andrew will.
Call it a bumper in the front. It'll say the best real Estate appraiser in Yucca Valley. And then the meat of the video will be the same on every one of them. And at the end it re identifies less as the best real estate appraiser in Yucca Valley. But if you went to Rancho Mirage.
It would be the same me.
But the beginning and end would say.
The best real estate appraiser in Rancho Mirage.
See, and in the eyes of YouTube.
Or any of the search engines, those are all different videos.
And you're not doing anything to upset them. You're not going into any dark spaces.
And doing any black hat stuff that they talk about. You know, when it comes to SEO or search engine optimization.
Yes, sir.
Just. I'm not asking for any trade secrets, but how do you, how can you possibly get this up so quickly within an hour to find the first page?
I'm used to the. I mean, it takes time for the crawlers to find planes. Is this just on YouTube that it's.
On the first page?
No, no, this is Google search.
So if you go to Google Search right now, if Andy went live in Google Search and you put in there.
The best appraiser in Yucca Valley, just appraiser.
So you've got some trade secrets that you, I mean, you obviously know what you're doing, because I think that's amazing that you can be there within minutes.
Really? Minutes?
This was up yesterday, obviously, but it's 23 hours ago.
And here's the cool thing.
This is why video is so incredibly powerful.
Not just because it gets you on.
The first page, but look at how many other.
Results have any kind of thumbnail on there.
None.
None.
So is it because it's, Is it because it's video that it goes up so quickly?
Yes.
Who owns YouTube? Google.
Who owns Google?
Google.
Where do we put it? Those two places.
Right away.
But here's the other thing Google tells.
Us in their statistics. It says. This is another analytic. It says if you don't have a thumbnail on there, if you're searching and.
You look on there and you're going down there, you're twice as likely to.
Click on one that has a video or a thumbnail than those that aren't.
Okay.
This is a thumbnail, this little picture.
Okay, now here's a little bit of.
A misleading thing for me.
I don't care if I get zero views because this is taken to the.
Video, which then takes them to the website.
That's what I want, right? So if all of a sudden I'm.
Looking From this video, YouTube.
Okay. Takes me to the website. All of a sudden they see the traffic increase.
Okay.
And that's what I want. Because now if you own a store, storefront, and you have one person coming through a day, or you have a thousand people come through a day, which one are you more likely to sell stuff to?
The one person or.
The thousand?
I want a thousand opportunities.
Right, well, so let's go as an.
Example, let's go to the C panel of My City Business Review.
This is again, this is just a live shot of the back end of our website.
Our website is called My City Business Review.
Oh, you don't have that institution. Yeah.
Sorry, keep talking.
It is.
With that question.
About YouTube, you know, you're talking about. Sorry, Ken. Dean. Dean. Sorry, Dean. So you said, you know, it takes a long time for you to get the results for your website, which is true. But because Google owns YouTube, they're searching their own sites.
Well, that makes sense.
Yeah, they're looking at it. And one other thing that I do want to mention. If you were here last week, we talked about putting your URL, your own website, in the description of your YouTube channel. See, what they've done here is the very first thing in the description of the YouTube channel to put les URL. So now if someone's searching through Google for these videos, the very first thing they're going to see is that URL for his. For his website. So they may. They may just think, you know what, I don't want to watch the video. It's whatever, it's a video. But I want to go and see who this person is here. What's the shelf life of this other video?
Yeah, no, I mean, no, like he's on. You're on page one at the moment.
How long can that last until someone knocks you off? And how many people are likely to do that?
So he'll be on here for a long time. I've got videos for my stuff that are still up from four years ago that are still on page one from four years ago because no one else has wanted to make a video about that topic.
You could refresh it. Like, for example, the most trusted real estate appraiser.
Let's say you've got a video that you did a year or two ago and it's still relevant today. You could go back in and maybe change the title, bring it up to date, put some new description in there. All of a sudden it becomes a new video. And YouTube say, hey, this is new. I'm going to put this in the search results.
I mean, the video could be like 15 seconds long and you've got a straight through link into your site.
But remember you want to put some value in it. People if they're going to watch 15 seconds they want to make sure that they're valuable. 15 seconds.
Oh yeah.
So don't just put rubbish up there otherwise you get a whole bunch of negative stuff and you know what? Okay, question.
How you done?
Pretty good.
This is just first time on math.
What's the minimum length of video? I mean, I mean basically, I mean what, what I'm seeing.
I've seen videos after two seconds. Really? Yeah, someone had a problem but I mean.
Why you just had play just to see how bad.
I mean basically cuz I mean I'm in a position now I'm getting my video guy to do my video. It's really what I'm seeing here is that if I get a video on Google it's virtually a guarantee if I've got someone through to my site. Assuming the video isn't completely rubbish as.
Long as they're getting to. As long as they're searching for you in the first place. Now you want to make sure that people you can have number one result in a search that no one's ever searching for. There's no point like if you were to do a video on, you know, how to make carpets with South Tibetan yak fur.
Who'S going to be looking for you might have the number one spot. But what's going on if no one's looking for it? Yeah, you know, so you've got to really have something that people are looking for and that's why these keywords are in. Keywords?
Oh yeah.
If they're not looking for it then there's no point doing it.
No, no, I'll get the keywords. Right, obviously.
Yeah. And make sure that's something that they're doing. As Nicole said, we're looking for people with thinning hair in age group 33 to 55. Put that sort of stuff in your titles so that when those people are looking for it's going to come up make sense. You good?
Yep.
So now we're going to go into.
The, to the back end of our business website which is called My City Business Review. Every little warm in here.
And what.
This tells us, this is just a.
Snapshot of what we can see.
So as an example now this was of May.
Okay.
Now the average websites out there probably get somewhere between, I'd say between 10 and maybe 100 views a day. Let me show you the effectiveness of video.
Okay, so here, 22,000 visitors, 21 six. Call it 31 eight, 33, nine, 34.
And it's already over 1100 people a day coming to the website.
That's the value of what we do with video. Our site is only video.
So if you have a business we put you on there, you're immediately getting exposed to potentially 1100 clients a day. Right.
I assume. I'm sorry to interrupt. I assume that if I had a video, which I actually, I do have a video on your website. You gave me one for the chamber.
And can I go to your analytics and see how many times people look at my video?
Sure.
Now, I'd probably go back to my.
EVS site because that's where I put it. And I look at it at a granular level.
Hey, how many people look into your.
Video when they're dropping off what's going on there? That's what I would do.
I think Ben's asking, can you go back and can you see the analytics from your video, his video on your site?
No, that's my stuff.
Now, if you were a paying client.
Yes.
I'd provide that to you. Way to provide that to the.
See, because here's the thing. Everybody's familiar with Amazon. What does Amazon sell?
Everything.
Everything. What do they start out selling?
Books.
Only books. Right.
And if you were an author and I looked up your name and your. The name of your book and you on Amazon or, excuse me, on the Google search, where would it take me? Amazon. Because it has more traction, more magnetic power.
That's what's going on here.
So when somebody's looking for video reviews.
In the desert, bang.
It'll take them there because that's the most searched thing.
Right.
Or if they're looking for. What's the name of your business?
Sun Chasers Online.
Of course it is.
So when they look that up, what we start to see is even when.
We look up your site, it takes.
Them to our website. See?
Yeah.
That happens a lot.
You bet.
You bet it does. It's not by accident. It's by design. Right?
That's what we do here.
So here's a cool thing.
Unique visitors.
Anybody know what that means?
Those are people that don't come back or come back at least once, right?
Yes.
Okay.
They've only been there one time.
They're new to the site.
Okay.
And you see, those have been. Those have been steadily climbing, the exception of May, but we had a lot more visits.
Okay.
So it gives you kind of an.
Idea what's going on. So far we've had 140,000 or 147,000.
People come to our website in the.
First five months of the year.
That's exciting. Got 100, but we don't sell a thing on there.
We do. We direct all the traffic back to.
Our clients, our paying clients, the other people, they watch a video, they come.
Back to our site again.
We keep them there.
Okay, so these are the kind of analysts I'm looking for, is hey, how often they come now let's go down because it'll say the days of the month. And I just pulled up a. Just pull up May. We can look at any month, but.
This shows, hey, what days are pretty exciting.
1100.
1100.
You know, it tells us which day of the month that seemed to be. And this is, I think this is Saturday, Sunday.
It looks like we have a pretty.
Consistent flow of traffic there, don't we? Almost every day there's a thousand people coming to that website. So for us, our traffic is growing.
And getting steadier, I predict, and I.
Read this last night, so I'm putting.
It out there really big. By the end of the year, we.
Should have 100,000 people coming to our site. That's big. That starts getting a lot of action on that site.
And then we can start offering things like from sunchaser, some kind of offering or something from Uninet, something of that nature that makes more value.
Okay, you can drill down to the hour.
Okay, keep going.
This is days of the week, but here's the hour of the day. Now look at this.
Remember on EBS it told us the.
Day and it kind of and whatnot.
But this is the hour of the day and these are 24 hours. So we say, hey, what hour? If I'm going to put something out there.
What seems to be the most effective? What do you think, Nicole?
Look at this real quickly. You can real quickly say, hey, what seems to be the most effective time to put something out there?
10 o'. Clock.
This is 10. This is the hour. That's actually 10 o'.
Clock.
Boom, boom.
Yeah. Anytime between 10 and 1 is when.
We have our most traffic. I can't explain it really.
I think we're, or for the most part we're supposed to be working.
I've noticed the most response on my posts online to anything I share is in the mid afternoon, like between around lunchtime hour because they're just looking at their phone while they're eating.
That's their first drink of the day, right? Yeah, yeah.
So if you're putting something out there.
Would that be important to know?
Robert, when your people. When your ideal client's looking at their content.
Yeah, that's what analytics will do for you. Okay, let's get a little further.
This tells us now exactly what country they're coming from. We can see that 54,000 pages and 70,000 hits were from the United States.
China.
Yeah, look at that. China's number two.
China's growing.
France has always been up there, but, yeah, it's growing.
Estonia. Yeah, I'd like to eat that up a little bit more.
Okay, so we can drill that down now. Let's keep going.
This isn't so important. This gives us a host. Keep going, keep going.
The one I want to look at.
Keep going.
Keep going.
Keep going.
Okay, so here's the.
Here I look at it and I can report this back to our clients.
Hey, what's getting viewed?
Anybody heard of Mama seeking restaurant? They're just up the street.
They're one of our clients.
6,700 views last month.
Do you think that helped their traffic in that restaurant? You bet it did.
You bet it did.
Three reasons.
Adding video to your site is critical. It's getting a lot of views. That's something we put out there. That's kind of neat because now people are learning more and more about videos. That used to be pretty bad. A year ago, no one looked at it.
Now more and more people looking at it. Bermuda Dunes Country Club, 5,300 times. This is important because this is my wife's hair salon.
3,200 people.
3,200 times we've ever looked at her site. She's busy. I gotta keep her working so I can play Kitchen Kitchen down there.
Normally, Kitchen kitchen's up around 4,200. They had a drop off.
I'm not sure why.
It might be time to go back.
In there and actually dial into their site.
But these are the kind of amulets we look for. Okay, so let's go back to our.
Let's go back to our.
Any questions about any kind of stuff? Analytics can be kind of boring, but then all of a sudden they can be kind of exciting when you know what you're looking for. And when you look at some, you're going, oh, that's what that means.
Okay, so those are open to view, rates, completions.
We talked.
Yes, ma'.
Am.
Somebody else said it, but I raised my hand.
Yes.
On those analytics. I was Google Analytics. And there's analytics that are provided by the.
Who creates the analytics?
There Are all kinds of companies out to provide analytics?
The ones we're looking at, we're looking at for my, specifically for my video from the company that hosts my videos.
It's called EVS.
Okay?
And then we're looking at Hostgator, which.
Is called the cPanel. They're providing all the data, in other words, they're analyzing. Everybody comes in that site and providing all that information. Okay?
So I use those analytics versus Google, okay?
I've been Google slapped for that from.
Other friends that said, hey, you should be using Google Analytics.
I get everything I need from there, okay? Because my drill down is not maybe as deep as maybe Andrew's or even Amy's. I'm saying, hey, how many people are.
Looking at it, how many people are completing it? What's my drop off rate and what's.
My click through rate? That's what I really want to know. For me, that's what I want to know and that's what I want you.
To think about is how many people.
Are opening and viewing my video, how many people are competing it.
You have to have something to measure that.
YouTube as an example will tell you that if you have a video on YouTube, it'll tell you when people are.
Dropping off, when they're dropping off. Robert, go back to that video and say, geez, I can see why all.
Of a sudden I lost sound during.
That point and people thought that the.
Video was broken so they gave up. Go back and fix it. YouTube will let you edit that video now fix it, okay? Or maybe they watched it until the.
Very end and you're saying, well my.
Completion rate is around.
I would say you want at least 50% or higher.
Okay, that's pretty good. Depending on the length of time. If you have a 30 second video.
And you're only getting about a 50%.
Completion rate, you probably need to look.
At that solution you're providing a little bit better.
Does that make sense?
Yeah.
Drop off rate.
Andrew told us last week, when people.
Drop off, Google looks at that and they say, hmm, if as an example, let's say you have a video on your site and it's a three minute video, but you have an 80% drop off rate in the first minute. Google looks at that and says, wait a second now when I'm providing search results, I remember her video.
Well, they don't remember, they just know.
That they had a big drop off. Is that really a good return of their search for you? If you're looking for an answer, she gives no. Because what do they Want to be.
Known for the best search, Right.
Not bringing up junk. Because if it's just junk, it's almost like, remember the days when Google Maps came out and next thing you know.
You were going to some ditch when.
You followed Google Maps.
Do you remember those?
Yeah.
And what did it make us do? I'm not going to use it for.
A while and all of a sudden.
Then you start using it and maybe you're just new to it, it's been updated and now it's on its greatest thing on Earth. You're a good friend. You recommend it, I give it a shot. I'm good with Google Earth. Right?
Or not Google Earth, but Google Maps, I mean. Okay.
Click through rate. What does that mean?
Click through rate is when someone watches your video and then takes action with your call to action.
I'll bet you a dollar to that.
Dozen donuts that's out front there that.
Anytime Andrew puts a video up, it.
Always has a call to action.
Always. Okay.
And it might be something as simple as. For more information, please click the link below. And now you're going to measure that.
So if you were looking at, if.
You were looking at a website, let's say for instance, let's look at.
Let's go back to Les. We're going to pull up just as.
An example, there's his information there. Okay. Now on the end, which you didn't see on the video, his phone number's on there and his email address is on there. Well, if all of a sudden his.
Phone starts ringing more than it has.
And he's getting more visits to his traffic on his website, is the video being more effective? Yes, it's effective. Now we're going to do some other things for less. We're going to put some landing pages together so when they click through that, it'll take them that landing page and there'll be more call to action. Hey, for more information, click here.
And then all of a sudden it.
Takes them to another video, a little short video, and gets them to do a little bit more. Okay. Because the goal is when somebody watches your video, it's what. What do you think your goal is or should be? And this is all it should be, in my opinion, the first time we meet.
Okay, sales.
What's the first thing that should happen? What's the only thing? If you come to my video and you watch for the first time, what should be my only goal that should occur?
Nope.
To get my attention. Didn't make the next step?
No.
Their email address.
Bingo. That's it? That's it.
It's almost like the days now.
I know you guys aren't like this.
And I wasn't like this either.
So this is meant to be a little rough.
I meet Nicole in the bar. What am I trying to do? Trying to get a phone number, right? Maybe we connect. In other words, I'm the video. She's watching me.
She's.
Hey, she seems like a nice guy.
Hey, she's going to like you first.
Exactly.
She likes my video.
She likes me. Okay?
I'm the video. And now at the end, don't want.
To say, hey, I went home and.
I've met this girl. I've never. I don't know how to get in touch with her. No, I want her phone number, right? So I want to ask for her phone number now. If I fail, at least I asked. I got up to the plate and.
Made a swing at that.
Okay, but if you never ask, how many people are you going to get their email address? 0.
So make sure you always put a call to action. And it was that pretty, right?
I mean, you're.
You never put anything out without some kind of call action, do you? Always.
Always.
Right.
Okay. And that's how you measure your click through.
Yes, ma'. Am.
But you can do the video where there's a. Like if there's some, say, selling paintings or something they can actually take down and click to buy a painting, right?
Totally. Totally.
It depends on, you know, I. I would. And again, this is not a hard and fast rule. This is me if I'm putting out.
Something for the first time.
It's a get to know me, okay? It's a get to know me. And it's going to be short, solving a problem.
And then if you'd like more information, click here.
There's my real easy thing, right? It's almost like if I walk up and I say, what's your name?
Cynthia.
Cynthia. Hi, Cynthia.
My name is Jeff.
How are you doing?
And we're in the bar and say, listen, what are you drinking? Hey, can I buy you another cup? There's a real soft call to action.
As I'm getting to know her, right?
She likes her coffee.
Hand it cream and sugar.
Cool.
Let's make sure there's cream and sugar in there.
Another call to action. I'm getting to know her a little better.
So it's one of Andrew's ethical bribes.
It could be. Yeah, it could be that call to.
Action is an ethical bribe.
You know, I gotta tell you something.
I love coffee.
In fact, I'm a connoisseur of coffee. Have you ever tried the Tibetan South Slope dark roast bean that they grow and it only comes out as one region in Tibet. Have you ever tried that? You know what? I want to send you a free.
Pound of that, but I need an address for you.
Would you mind sharing your address with me? And I'll send that to you, no charge.
I just want to give it to.
You because I know you'll love it.
If you like coffee, how hard is that?
There's my ethical bribe, right? But if I walked up and said, hey, you like coffee, Let me send you a pound of that, you're like.
You freaking me out.
You gotta warm up first.
Okay? That's what the video does.
Let's go to the next one.
When someone goes to buy something, you're going to get their email address when they purchase something. So that's the advanced collection point. So in this case, we're just getting an email address with no sale. But if you're making the sale, you're going to get the email address with that too. So you've got both of that. Does that make sense?
And say, but traffic.
If you have no traffic, you have no opportunities.
So if you're not on page one, again, this is the analytic values.
If you're not on page one, your opportunities go way down.
Some of our clients, when we look for you, I think you are on page eight, Amy.
Is that right? Like page eight.
It'S just warning, warning.
If you're not on page one, you're not going to get found.
See?
All right, sales and conversions. So traffic. So for me, it's views or traffic and sales or conversions.
Now, conversions may mean I want your.
Email address so I can send you that pound of Tibetan South Slope only.
Dark roast coffee that you can find in Tibet.
Right.
There's my conversions. All right, let's keep going.
So with peel layers back, where's your traffic coming from?
Is it organic or paid?
Well, the stuff you talked that we talked about with less at the very beginning is organic. Now, why is that important? Here's another statistic or.
Analytics that you.
Probably need to know.
If you pay for traffic.
Okay.
Even if it's.
What's that called now? It's not.
Anyway, it's kind of traffic and it.
Looks the same as everybody else.
What?
I'm thinking of it just off the.
Top of my head.
Favorite book?
No, no, it's.
Anyway, anyway, so if you pay for.
Traffic, you have an ad there and.
It'S at the top or it's on the side. No, it's a native.
Even if you pay for native advertising, it looks the same. Statistics show that only 21% of the people actually click on those ads. Because as an example, it's almost like if you see an ad versus something that looks like it's, you know, Nicole written in it, it's really. It's heartfelt. Only 20% of time you can click on the ad. 71% of time you're going to click on the other. I don't know whether that a 9% went, but that's the statistics they gave us, right? So organic, you get a much higher traffic, almost 400% more traffic from organic. Paid is just what it says.
You have to pay to be there.
It's just like all of a sudden, if how many of you have Time.
Warner, Verizon, no cable, okay, it doesn't matter.
So if you decided today, you called Time Warner and said, hey, listen, I'm gonna stop paying, would they keep providing cable?
Same thing with pay per click.
But here's the interesting thing.
When we used to do pay per.
Click for, we only did it for.
A couple our clients.
One, it's fairly expensive. It's not. There's nothing wrong with. I'm just saying, hey, here's the pros and cons. Pros is you do get to the top of the page and you do get seen. And yet.
It takes about three to four weeks sometimes, depending on your market.
How heavy your market is.
Do you want to wait three or four weeks?
You want to get there a minute?
Yeah, we can get you there in minutes.
The other part is if you decide.
You know, that, that $500 a month is getting a little steep, I need to stop it. What happens to your potential traffic? Gone. Not tomorrow, today.
It stops like you turn a water. It stops today.
Organic, as Andrew told you, when you get there organically, you might stay there for years. And if you start seeing yourself slide, go back there and revisit that video.
Or content and relabel it.
Find out if people are searching for something different because all of a sudden, rotary telephones are no longer popular. They're now cell phones, if you will. So you just title it, hey, how to get more incoming calls on your cell phone instead of on your rotary.
Dial phone because of just the terminology of the day, of the age we're in.
Okay, so organic or paid?
Everybody understand between organic and paid.
Organic.
You don't pay to get there.
You do it because that's what people are searching For. So it ranks high because Google says, hey, we're a search engine. We provide good answers to people. And you have product that provides great answers to people.
Okay?
Paid is where you say, hey, I'm paying to be up there. I push my way to the front. Okay, but we recognize that.
We say, I don't want to do the paid stuff. Only 20% of us say, yes, we'll do that next.
See over here, right around in here is where we grow that coffee. This is a Tibetan.
What is that?
It's the rug.
Here's the thing. Because if you can't be found, you'll.
Never get off the ground.
So if you don't do something to say, hey, I've got this great book, I've got this great hair product, I've got this great sun shades, I've got.
Whatever it is, I have this great cookie.
But if you're the only one who knows it or a very select few, you're not going to get off the ground. You have to think bigger. What do I need to do now without sounding like I'm selling my services.
Or our services within me?
Video, do videos. If you're going to put any effort.
Out there, do videos.
You can write blogs and you should.
Be doing some of that.
But I would take that same content, the same script that I put together.
For the video and I'd turn it.
Into a blog post and I'd make.
Sure to put it on the YouTube.
Video as a transcript.
Man, you're hitting off all pieces of that. Okay? Because guess what? When you post this and you have a, you have a blog post and you have a video, it's on YouTube, it's on Google plus, you may have.
That thing show up two or three times, right?
So if you went back to.
Let's just, let's try something here, let's.
Go back to Google Search and let's.
Just put in appraisers in Palm Desert.
Let's just see what happens. I have no idea.
This may be a workshop fail, but we'll find out.
Finish.
I'll drop this back door.
Do you have math flashes today?
I guess it's usually me.
So.
Because if you can't be found, you can't get off the ground. So are people finding you now while he's doing this? I want you to understand.
I have no idea what the name of your website websites are.
So the only way I'm going to.
Find you is if you start thinking, what problems do I solve? And can I agitate and offer a Solution. If you're saying, why don't people come to our website because it's Jungle Gym, Tommy's fun place, I have no idea the name of your site, but if you have an answer, and I have children and they like to play in jungle gyms inside. And it's not at. Does it do that at McDonald's inside plate.
Thanks.
Okay, then you're going to solve that problem, right?
So appraisers in Palm Desert, California.
Let's see what.
Let's see what comes up. Yes.
Okay, let's go down.
Again.
I don't know if it'll show up or not. Let's find out.
If you're not more, you're less now.
It doesn't mean he won't be up there immediately.
Oh, there he is.
Okay, okay.
So there he is.
Okay.
Now as he gets more views, it'll start moving up.
Okay.
All right.
You'll start moving up. That was only 23 hours ago.
Gangs on the front page. I challenge you to go do something, especially for an appraisal. If you're an appraiser, go do a pay per click and see how long it takes you to be on the.
Front page of Google.
Okay? It won't be 23 hours.
I promise you that.
Okay, do me a favor now go.
Back in and put Les Kaplan appraisers in Palm Desert.
So, Jeff. And these are just some of the.
Search terms we use?
Yes, ma'.
Am.
So every time somebody clicks on your website, regardless, I mean, not going through Google, but they just have your website address, that makes it more.
Well known so that Google finds it. Or does it have to go through Google for people to find for it to go up this ranking ladder?
Tell me.
Say that again.
Okay.
You know, I do estate sales. So when I send out an email blast to, you know, however many people and I say go to this website and click on the estate sale tab, I'm doing that purposely thinking that by then going to visitresourcegroup.com and then they click on the estate sale tab, is that working to my advantage every time that gets clicked or not?
It's not hurting you.
You know what? I would if I were you.
Okay.
I'm not.
But if I were you and I had a video.
We're still working on that.
Yes.
It would solve it. It would solve a problem for a real estate agent who has to do probate sales because there's been a death and they have to do something with.
All that furniture in that.
I would make a video about that and the solution it solves. First of all, I make a problem. Hey, you know, you get this great listing or you get a call, you're doing listing, but. But all of a sudden you look at the house, it's full of furniture and stuff. You're going, oh, now what am I going to do? I can't sell it like this. Because it's been like this for four months going through probate. Actually, the average probate is 14 months. Okay, state of California. So 14 months later, you get the opportunity to sell that house and now you have old decaying stuff because it's probably gone through one, maybe even two summers.
What are you going to do with it?
Well, I have an answer.
I would make that video and then I start sharing that with real estate agent.
Hey, this may be a solution.
If you ever have that situation, right, Then they come and watch your video.
Which then if you'd like more information on how I can easily help you liquidate this and make that sale happen faster and get you a commission tomorrow or today, not six months from now, call me, right? That's how I use the video.
Now listen to this.
Let's discuss that. Make sense.
Les Kaplan. Boom, boom, boom, boom. Wow.
All of a sudden, now everything he has. Two days ago, you couldn't find Les on the Internet. He was on. What page was he on, Amy?
I mean, he was like deep. No chance of him getting on there. Now he's on the front page.
Best real estate appraisal, Palm Desert. Palm Desert.
This is this company. This is this company.
Bang. All of a sudden, now he's showing up.
Is that going to make a difference with his business?
I can only get the horse to the water. It's now to Les to do a good job. Yes.
These two videos Ronnie put up yesterday, they're already outranking his own website with his name in it. And his own website has got his name in it all over. And these two videos are already beating his own website. His own ABC website. So this is abc.com.
How cool is that, Right? And now I don't know if you guys. And I'm not picking on Les, but.
I'm going to use it as an example, because not here, you can't defend yourself.
Is.
Did Les have a ton of blogs.
On his site or a ton of written articles on his site?
A lot of content.
A lot of content. And people will tell you, hey, write content, content, content. It'll make your rank.
He wasn't ranking, was he?
Now Andrew's taking the rest of this stuff now if we come back in.
A couple weeks and except for Andrew.
Does his website, it'll be an ugly.
Race and I won't be. So I'll probably still be up near the top five.
But Andrew's going to take care of his other issue with his website. Okay. So now he will tend to dominate.
We have some clients out there that.
They make more than one video.
Now we only made one video, but we duplicated it 17 times. We have other clients, they had 10 videos and we duplicated them 20 times. 22 times. There was. There's only 10 search results. Typically on Google, they dominate that. So in their field, if they came to your problem solving site as an example, let's say your business is what would be the problem you solve?
Too late.
You should know what's your problem you solve.
What's the problem solving you solve.
Thinning hair.
Thinning hair, boom, there you go. So if all of a sudden I'm looking for how to overcome thinning hair.
Boom and all of a sudden you.
Own all eight or ten of those answers, am I going to go to page two? Am I thinking, hey, these people must be an authority in what they're doing.
Because they own the whole search information.
So you can reverse engineer that, for example. Like it just sits me and I couldn't deal with it. So if I go to Google and I start knocking, putting in words in there, which is to do with my business so I can finally arrive at the perfect keywords, that's what I would do. Yeah, right.
You know, I look at that, hey, what problems are your ideal clients trying.
To overcome that reinvent the wheel. Someone's already gone and done that hard work going horrible.
Yeah.
Because if you're, see if you're trying.
If Wes is trying to get on the first page by making sure his website, American Valuation company is found. If you're looking for an appraiser, because.
You'Re in that real estate business, if.
You will, I mean, you know you're connected to it, right. Would you ever look up, would you ever type in, well, I'm looking for American Valuation Company. No, no, you're looking for an appraiser. You're looking for a liquidator, probate sale liquidator or whatever it may be. Right. You're looking in yours for some changes. You're looking for, was it home watch.
And vacation rental management make it easier.
Then location rental management. Hey, I'm looking for somebody to watch my house while I'm not here.
Right.
I'm an out of state owner.
Well, we do both.
Vacation rental. Okay. But I put those kind. That's how I would label that video. Best vacation rental company in.
And then I put all those city together there.
Right.
Best out of state owner.
Best. What would be another one off the top of my head.
Yep.
Absentee owner.
You know, something like that. Who can watch my house when I'm away, You know.
VRBO Alternative.
That could be a good one.
What was it?
Vrbo Vacation Rental by Owner Alternative.
Because I bet you the RPO gets a few bits.
So this is how they start showing up.
Yes.
Yes, ma'.
Am. Did you write down the first one.
That'S up there is actually a YouTube video?
Yes, the first two are.
But it's not saying that it's a YouTube.
Right here.
YouTube. YouTube.
That's just because there's a little bit more.
If you. If you went to that, it would.
Say no matter how many times you change the first slide and the last slide on YouTube, then it's always going to come up.
They see it as a different video. Yep. They see it as a.
That's why you can go back in and rewrite the title or change some of the keywords. And Google says, oh, they've done something new. Just look at it as a new product.
Right. Excuse me. It's like taking a paperclip and instead.
Of metal, you put a coating around it.
Now it's a new type of paperclip.
Right.
It's not the same old paperclip.
So did you do a grant for Lake?
Sure.
Let's put in it. Let's.
Let's put the best real estate appraiser in Lake.
Just two weeks ago, whenever he was here, I met him and I needed to get an appraisal and I tried to track him down and I couldn't.
Lost business.
There he is.
The best real estate appraisal.
La Quinta.
Different slide.
Yeah.
Sometimes when you get 20, you know, 17 to 20, you have to be real creative.
But the bottom line is it's a different one. Okay.
So. And again, everything above here I kind of take.
You know, that's kind of advertising, if you will. This is all. This is stuff that's advertising.
Right here is where it gets real. He's number two.
He's number two.
He'S in that spot where now about.
96% of the people that are searching.
Are going to choose in 1, 2 or 3.
Right.
So I'm not always really excited. Since they're on the front page. I want them to be as high as possible and click throughs and shares and that kind of stuff help.
Alright, does everybody get a better idea.
Of video analytics now? What you're looking for? And more important, I wanted to start out with saying it's not just about making a video. What's it now about?
Solving a problem.
Solving a problem. It's not just about writing content, it's about what.
Identifying a class problem.
Absolutely. And then providing a.
There you go.
Agitate P A s. Identify the problem.
Agitate it and then solve it and then collect.
Collect information.
You bet. That's the main thing. Right?
Like we're putting together.
Oh, it's time to go. I apologize. I have to have to wrap things up because it shuts off.
So any questions about that?
Yes, ma'.
Am.
I just have one little question for Andrew. So why was his text content not registering?
Or you know, he had this page, he had a pages of content and they weren't in a blog format so it wasn't fresh and relevant. It's been there for a long time, lots of content, but nothing had changed for eight months.
Oh, we hadn't been creating it.
So every. Instead of having one post, he had a few pages. So I had all these massive pages of content that had sat there for a year.
So it just wasn't formatted.
So what we've done, we take it off, put into a blog for my. So it comes out every week. One of those pages comes out every week. He hasn't rewritten it, he's just taken it off what it was and putting it into a blog for my dad. Google says, oh, there's some new stuff coming. It's been added.
Now remember, if you would like any.
Part of this or if you'd like to watch this again, just let Andrew know before you leave, give him your email address and we'll make sure to.
Give you the link that you can.
Find this, it's on YouTube. It'll also be on the Score website and you can follow up on that.
We also have a couple things I.
Want to talk about.
First of all, we have a handout.
We need to give you for an evaluation. It's right there. It's for an evaluation. Now they said we have to keep.
The door locked and closed until you fill that out.
It's not very long. It's only about 35 questions. And if you would just take a second and turn that back in, this.
Helps them understand, hey, is this content relevant and is it helpful and does.
It solve the problem?
And why are you coming?
Okay, so if you would please fill that out.
I'd really appreciate it. Also on the outside there's donuts and coffee. Please take extra so we don't. So I can keep my girly sh.
Figure.
And then also a couple things. One is we also have a live show.
It's called Slump Busters. It's on Wednesdays at 4:30.
We do it again live here.
You more often come watch it or it's on online and you go to SwingPointMedia TV and you can watch that.
The whole crux of that show is this. There are people that have businesses in seasonal areas, not just here but around the globe. So what we do is Andrew and I, we solve problems for those people saying hey you know what? Instead of my business going way down in off season like yours goes up when everybody else goes down, right? So we're going to, we're lurking and providing solutions for businesses no matter what.
You'Re doing, whether you're a ski business.
In Aspen or you're in Australia, whatever it is. And we do that from 4:30 to 5. We have guests on the TV tomorrow. We have a gentleman from Kiner Communications coming in because again they are doing advertising for companies here in the Valley. What do they do for people?
And those could be nice examples.
That's 4:30 to 5 right here. We start shooting. We actually shut the door about 4.
Because then we start going over 5. And our guests are here at 4:20. So we'd love for you to come.
And see that next Tuesday.
Next Tuesday we are talking about.
Social media next week. Social media. And since we just have a second.
One last thing, we are putting together a one day program.
It will be in Palm Springs.
And what it's really designed to do is to help you focus on doing one day when we try to get many things going. Like somebody says, well you need to.
Be on social media, right Dean?
And you need to go Facebook and Twitter all of a. I can't get.
Any of them right. So I don't do any of that.
We're teaching you say hey, do one and be an expert and then go.
To the next one. So we're going to dial in and.
Say, hey, we're talking about one specific piece. Like if you came and watched a video piece, we're only talking about video and we're going to take you the whole day. If you're coming and talking to Andrew on social media, he's going to talk social media media in one specific topic the whole day. So when you walk out of there, the chances are, hey, you can Speak.
Video, you can speak social media.
And now take that and run with it. Right. Instead of just a spatter.
And that'll be, I think we're looking.
At what, the end of June.
June, what subject?
This will be a full day.
Full day.
What subject?
Video. Social media.
Okay.
Yep.
Video shall be traffic, probably traffic. Just how do you use both of those platforms to drive traffic to your website?
And is there a cost for this?
Yes, yes. And do you want to show the cost?
We haven't looked at that yet. I think it's going to be around about $250 for the whole day because we're going to be putting on, I think we're doing a lunch as well.
Are we?
Yes, we are doing lunch as well.
We're doing a lunch as well. But it's going to be pretty hands on workshop. So you're bringing computers, bring your laptops and we'll be doing stuff. So you walk out by the end of the day you're going to have already things in place like these videos we see Jeff putting up in an hour we'll do things like that where you've got videos already driving traffic to your website that day. So you're going to walk out with not just a whole bunch of notes but actually steps that have been created while you're being and give you an idea.
You know, if you put, if you make a video or we make a video for a client, you know the typical cost for us to do that.
And get on the first page with one video is about $1,000.
So if you're paying 250 and now you have, you know how to fish.
You didn't just buy the fish. Now it makes it very valuable because now you can do that.
And it's not like you have to.
Have these expensive cameras that we have in the back. If you have a cell phone, you.
Have an iPad, you can make this happen.
Okay. You can make some great videos for your business.
The key is problem, agitate, solve it.
Everything you do pas.
All right, thank you gang.
So yeah, 250 to 250 these workshops. I used to run these workshops where they were charging five grand for three day workshops. So these are pretty cheap.
Did he say 250 or 2500 50?
We'll let it get out, Amy.
All right, well thank you gang so much.
Please say thank you to Andrew on the way out.
And don't forget to use Store. Store has incredible resources, resources from anything you can imagine. And the cost, Nicole, is.
Free, but the information is priceless.
