Foreign. You're listening to Flow Dreaming with your host, Summer McStravic. Welcome to Flow Dreaming. Hello everyone. How's everyone doing this week out there in Flowland, if this is your first time listening to the show, welcome. This program is about manifesting. It's about creating. It's about learning how to use your mind in such a way that you're no longer a victim in your life, that you have a lot of power, that if you want to create something or make something, or become something, you know what to do. You've learned the tools, you've learned a great method for doing so. Because of that, every week what I do is I take on a different topic. I tackle something out there in ourselves or in the world and relate it to what I call flow energy or manifesting energy, the energy of the universe. When I work with anything, I'm looking at it from two perspectives. The physical perspective, the things you actually have to do, and the non physical perspective, which are the things that you have to think or feel. It's like two halves of a whole, you know, it's like a walnut, you know, two sides in the same shell. And I think that this way of looking at the world is something that is becoming more and more common. I think there have been different, of course, eras where it's been more common. And then in the last couple hundred years, we have discovered science, we've discovered lots of interesting and natural laws that have helped us tremendously and stopped believing so much in the non physical realm if we are not able to identify it and parse it. But most recently here at the tail end of the last couple hundred years, science seems to be circling back around. It's getting to that point again where it's saying, and there's all this non physical stuff that seems to be oddly correlating. And that's kind of where I come in. That's where flow dreaming comes in. I like to marry real solid physical stuff, science principles, physics with thinking. And if you go back in the archives of the show, which has been running for nine years, you'll see me move through different eras, I guess you could say some of them. I've been very much into the science. I've interviewed at least a half a dozen physicists or more about quantum mechanics, quantum theory, where things cross over between science and spirituality. Lately, you've probably noticed I've been going deeper into the world of psychology, trying to figure out what makes people ask for the things that they ask for. Because most recently manifesting has led me to go deeper inside myself and go deeper inside my clients, the people I work with in my mentorship programs. And I've discovered that you can teach people all you want how to manifest and create things. You can give them the tools, you can give them the techniques, but if they don't know what to deeply ask for inside themselves, if they don't know exactly what they're capable of, what their purpose is, what their potential is, they're never going to ask for more than just a little bit. And they'll keep themselves trapped in a cycle of just asking for enough, the next best enough. And, well, you know, my job, my mission is to keep pushing past that, keep pushing the limits. And maybe your job is the same thing, because that's why you're listening to this podcast every week. I want you to be thinking about something different in your life, some aspect of yourself that you want to push past its current limits. The most extraordinary people, the most successful people, the greatest manifesters are without doubt those people who continue to push past their own limits, who actively seek them out. And these are everyone from the Steve Jobs of the world to the Mother Teresas of the world. Money and outward physical success really has nothing to do with it. Look at Mother Teresa, poor as could be. Did she push past her physical limits every day? Did she push past the barriers in her mind? Did she ask herself over and over, am I strong enough for this? Can I get past me and do this? I bet. I bet she did. So this is what Flow Dreaming is evolving into and where it gets its deepest and most powerful. Which is why I came up with today's topic. Also because one of my recent diamond clients sort of triggered off a lot of thoughts and feelings in me as I was talking with her about intimacy, self intimacy. What does that mean? Okay, so before I get into the topic of the hour, I just want to point out that you can find out a bunch of resources at my website, flowdreaming.com I have playlists there now that will help you develop and cultivate different characteristics within yourself in your life. And some of these are, like I said, characteristics, ways of being, ways of thinking that you want to grow into, that you want to become. I mean, it's ultimate self growth, because this is what you're doing. You're actively manifesting new behaviors, characteristics and feelings about yourself. To me, if you're going to manifest, why not start there? But you can also manifest things like the perfect move, good health, a romantic partnership. All of that is there for you. Anyway, it's at the store, flow dreaming.com. go check it out. I also have a blog there. And if you're listening to the podcast now, I don't know how you found it exactly. But there are other resources for you. What you need to do is get on my mailing list. That means you go to the website and you just sign up for it. There'll be a pop up, put your name in there. And that's how I'll tell you about the other resources such as how to get the app, the free app for this newsletters. I often offer discounts only through my newsletter on items in my store. All kinds of stuff. Okay, enough about that. Let's get back to this concept of self intimacy. So here's how kind of it came about. I was talking with one of my clients and I was pointing out to her, I hope you don't mind me using you. You know who you are. But you know what? What I see in you is what I do see in many other people. In fact, I think most of us have a little tiny bit of this in us. We always think that it's going to be better on the other side of the rainbow if we could just get around the turn, if we could just get through this thing in us. If we could just get our perfect romantic partner, if we could just get the new job, if we could just move to the city we keep wanting. Move to. Right? It's a feeling, especially those of us who manifest. Right. Because we're creators, you know, we want to make something. The idea of not having a goal, that's like practically death for us. So we feel very invested in our vision. What we want to have happen. It becomes a marker on our path to success. Did I do this one? Check. Yes, I did. Therefore I must be a good person. Check. But what it can also mean, it can have. Let's just say it's shadow side. Give a little shout out to Debbie Ford here. It's shadow side, which is when we are constantly feeling like where we want to be is not where we are now, then we're living a kind of hollow half life. We're doing things now for the purpose of where we want to be tomorrow. But we're not really invested in who we are at the moment. And I find that in some people, this is a really deep well, that they're not invested in who they are at the moment. In fact, for them, goal setting is kind of an escape because it's saying, I'll be better tomorrow, I'll be whole tomorrow. I will be healed tomorrow, I'll be fixed tomorrow. When my perfect partner walks into my life, I will be complete tomorrow. I'll know I'll have accomplished all my inner growth work. Then when you're flowing, when you're manifesting, when you are a creator, a co creator, constantly interacting with the world. Tomorrow becomes something that you know you're heading towards and you have a whole set of ideas and expectations for it. But the power is totally in your present. Okay, Totally. Now we, now we look to Eckhart Tolle. It's like different teachers have segmented out different parts of this great grand universal teaching. You have Eckhart, you have Debbie Ford, you have everybody kind of mentioning their particular area. You have me talking about manifesting and creation. It's all part of this grand sort of universal declaration of the way things work. But when, Let me go back here. When your presence, when you're in your now, when you're manifesting, the energy you're putting out this moment is what defines you. It defines the future. The future can only react to who you are right now. Your future is not reacting to your idea of your future self. It's reacting to you right now. Imagine your body is not a body. It is a mirror. You're like a little disco ball. You have all these facets and you are reflecting out flow your future. Everything you encounter is receiving the information that you're reflecting out to it. What are you reflecting out? This is where I say stop looking for what's over the rainbow. What if you are already over the rainbow? Just play with time here for a moment. Yesterday, today was over the rainbow for you. You're now in today. Technically you are over the rainbow. You are here. You have already. You are around the bend right now. Around the bend is not tomorrow. That was yesterday's around the bend is right now. Okay? All of this, I'm trying to bring you back firmly into your present. This is all your power. So what's going on in your presence? This is what drops us into the realm of self intimacy. A lot of us don't want to be in our present. We just don't want to hang out here. We want to do anything but hang out here. We want to be on our iPhones all day long. We want to be having a sip of wine. We want to be deep in a book or gelling out on television. We want to be anywhere but right here. Think about something right now. A little exercise for you. Think about something in your life. It's not working. I know. Isn't that terrible? Here we are talking about manifesting and good happy feeling things and I'm like, think about something that's just Crappy. But I want you to. This is self growth. Think about this thing. I bet you if you get really present with it, you're going to discover there's something about this thing that you don't want to get intimate with, you don't want to get closer to, you don't want to come head to head with. There's something about it that you want to just dance around the edges. You want to acknowledge it's there. Maybe you even complain about it. All the time. Complaining about it and acknowledging it is a whole different energy than looking at it square on embracing it, saying, I see you, I see you, I accept you. Let's be different, let's change you right now. I'm going to hold you so close to me that we're going to transform and you is the thing in your life. It's not working. This is what I mean by self intimacy. Not escaping into anything else, not escaping into tomorrow. Not escaping into what if not escaping into what, you know, when I get my better job and I have more money. You see, all of that is really contingent on what you're doing this second, what energy you are feeding your flow, feeding the universe with right now. It's like you eat your spinach right now, you're gonna be strong tomorrow. That thing you want to happen, it's probably gonna happen. Feed yourself jelly beans right now, you feed yourself cotton candy, you escape into something else. You don't get deep and intimate with it tomorrow, you're not going to have the strength, it's not going to happen. This is what translates in people's lives to long days, months and years of delay. This is what translates into you jumping from city to city, job to job, partner to partner, always saying, I never figured it out. I keep going into the same thing. Stop looking outside yourself to fix it. It's not the situation you keep jumping into, it's you. It's you getting deep and intimate with yourself, spending time with yourself, recognizing there's no one out in the world I need to spend time with in the same way that I need for myself, with few exceptions, for caring for your parent. If you have your baby a little bit different, let's just say any functional adult is secondary to you, even your partner, because you have to give to yourself to give to them. Intimacy with yourself. If you're escaping something, if there's something you really don't want to do that you know you should, you don't want to get intimate with yourself. I mean, and this, just play this out. Pick Something that thing in your mind you're having trouble with. Let's say it's your credit card debt. Let's say it's your feeling of always being behind financially. Get intimate with that. What's that about? Why? Why are you creating that over and over? Why are you manifesting inside your life and yourself a feeling of I never have enough and I know what all the woo woo stuff is out there. Well, it's because of lack. It's because of this. And that goes back to my parents and past lives. Let's just play with this idea, this show, and just get intimate with yourself. Let's just say it's you and you right now. Something in you you don't want to grab onto, you don't want to face. Maybe the feeling is I don't want to deal with credit card debt because I feel like I've never been able to find what I'm supposed to do in life that rewards me to the degree that will totally take care of me and support me. And I've allowed myself to live this kind of half life where I'm working for less than I should be paid. And I'm trying to live higher because I feel that some part of me knows I deserve it. So I'm trying to live well. And it's put me in this weird little tight place in the middle where I feel like I'm always struggling and behind. Okay, that is an example of getting intimate with yourself. Ah, I know why I'm doing this now. Do I want to stay there? No. What do I have to now Feel and change and manifest and become so that this doesn't keep occurring? And that's where a lot of people stop. They stop right before they say so that this doesn't keep occurring. They just assume it's in them. It's going to be there. It'll be better tomorrow, better around the corner. Something will happen outside themselves that'll fix it. It's all going to happen inside yourself. And what this all should bring home is the feeling that there's nothing you have to wait for. There is nothing. I'm going to repeat it. There's nothing you have to wait for. You have every tool right now to fix what's not working. Just let that sink in. You have every tool right now to fix what's not working. And if you have to somehow prove that to yourself, think of this. Do you think source, do you think God, do you think universal mind would put you in a place where you have incomplete tools, where you Just have to be victimized. Is withholding what you need. Be like sending a kid to school and saying, haha, there's no books, no blackboard, no teacher. Just sit there at your desk. No, you've got it, it's around you, it's right here. It's everywhere. It's there. If you don't know what it is. Precisely, so what? Pick up what's on your desk. Work with what you've got. Believe me, the universe has already provided you what you need to make your next step happen. It is there. Open your eyes. Look. That is getting intimate with yourself and your life. You're not intimate when you're always looking past what's in front of you, waiting for something else to come because you don't like what's right in front of you. What's right in front of you is what's there to help you. All right, so I know I. Oh my God, I feel like I just lectured you guys. I'm so sorry. It's lecturing with love. Really, because you know, I teach manifesting. I teach you how to go big. I teach you how to move into new places in your life, in your thinking, in your love, in your self worth, in everything. And to do that you've got to be present in yourself and say, damn it, yes, I will. I will. Look at this. What am I not intimate enough with inside myself? The thing that makes you uncomfortable in you, that's the one you need to look at. Take a look. Go for it, feel it. You know, I mean, that's the reason we have resistance in our life. Because it's there. It's saying, it's our friend. It's saying, hey, check it out. Take care of this. Take care of this. I'm showing myself to you. The reason I'm showing myself to you is because you're ready to take care of it. Right? You know the worst thing is to be just trapped in a cycle of seeing but not doing. And when we're seeing things but not doing anything about them, we're not getting intimate with ourself. We're still trying to escape into something else. Be like, yeah, I see it, but I'm not, not right now. I'm not going to take care of, I'm not going to do that. And then we say, oh, I don't have the tools for it. I got to wait. Or I got to this, I got to that. Uh, anyway, so that, that right there, that is power. That's power. And you know, I've interviewed so Many people over the course of my career, astronauts and poet laureates, Nobel prize winners and, you know, thought leaders. Just amazing people. Something that I've seen, I've been carefully looking out to see what our commonalities. One of the things I have noticed over and over, people who embrace their lives and their greatness, one, they're not afraid to see things in themselves all the time. They're always looking and they don't care if it's a good thing or a bad thing. It's either way is fine with them. But then they take care of things and they take care of them instantly. They take care of them when they see them. They don't look at something else. Say something else has to be attended to first. This that they look at it. They make a decision, they move on. It's not a factor of speed, you know, like, boom, boom, boom, boom. It's not careless. It is like, oh, this needs to be addressed. Let's do it right now. And they don't stop and say, wait a minute, do I have the right tool? Is this the right decision? Have I? They go, no. I trust that based on everything I've grown to till this point, I will probably make a good choice on this inside myself. And so I'm going to do this and then see what happens. And that is where you see people just go big. You see them just become phenomenal. I mean, if you don't, if you want to just continue to prove it to yourself, think about the people that you admire right now. And it could be your grandma, or it could be a, you know, a thought leader. It could be an author, anybody. There's probably that characteristic in them. They're intimate with their self. They're authentic with their self. You feel that vibe, you know, that they are who they are in the moment. That's all they're providing is this complete and utter authenticity. They have an inner intimacy. They're willing to share who they are, what they've done, where they're going. And that's what everybody responds to. All of us. All of us. Okay, let's go to a break while I recompose myself. We're going to be doing a flow dream today to reach in and find that inner intimacy. I mean, feel it, love it up. We're going to love ourselves up today. And if you feel a little nervous about it, excellent. Oh, I want you to. Nervous like a first date. Okay. You can't hide behind the curtains. You've got to answer the door, though. Okay? So I'm Coming back in just a minute. And we're going to do that. And of course, we're going to get some more of your calls as we go through this episode of Flow Dreaming. Hi.
It's summer, but on break. And I know that some. Some of you are still wondering, what is Flow Dreaming and what is MI School?
Because I refer to both of these.
Quite a bit in my podcast. Me School is a transformational program. It's a gorgeous and deeply revealing, empowering online school worldwide where I teach you how to remodel your life in any way you choose, using the technique of Flow dreaming as well as a bunch of other deeply powerful life changing processes. So me School is either enrolling or it's accepting names onto the wait list. And that means that I'm accepting students who work with me for the year. And you can learn how to do what I do in life, the way I think, the way I build things, make things, heal things. Everything I talk about you will learn directly from me how to do. You're going to create some amazing things. My MI schoolers, their lives change way beyond the norm.
And you don't even have to be.
A superstar when you go in. Some of you are, and you're ready to go bigger, play in that bigger field, and some of you are just saying, hey, help.
What's next? Where should I go?
And both are fine, both are great if you're ready to go big. But you know that you need to deepen your own spiritual practice and your personal growth, because that's where it all comes from, right? Then this is where you need to be. Your life only grows as big as you do. So here's what to do. Go over to flowdreaming.com and click on MI School. And during these enrollment periods, you can.
Actually set up a free course phone.
Call with me or my staff and we'll talk about it.
Is it a fit? Is it interesting?
During waitlist times, we just put you on a list of people who've expressed interest, so we can notify you as soon as the doors open. All right. I look forward to hearing from you and even more to getting to know you as one of my personal students in MI School. Now let's get back to the episode.
Welcome back to Flow dreaming. I'm Summer McStravic. And yes, we're going to flow now. We're going to get deep into our own beautiful selves and open our eyes to them, accept them, love them up, get intimate. There's no running away into anything else. No running Away into distracting ourselves with our friends and supporting them and all their problems. No running away into that glass of wine or a couple beers tonight. No running away into work and focusing all of our attention on that. Not looking at our family. No running away into work and paying all of our attention to that and not paying attention to our lack of. Of family. Right. All these things that we do to keep ourselves from getting back into ourselves, from getting into those uncomfortable spots in us. Something you'll learn from me over time if you stick with me for a few months or even a few years, is that you will love getting uncomfortable with yourself. Every time you do, you're going to shout and scream with happiness and joy. It's kind of like some people love to go to the gym and, and they love to get to that point when they feel kind of like hurting and sweating and exactly what I hate feeling at the gym. But if you give me the opposite and you say you're going to get inside yourself and you're going to feel uncomfortable and I'm going to show you stuff about yourself that you can now own and move through and release, then I get, that's when I get all, ah, do it, do it. I'm. I have the equivalent joy for a spiritual gym because I know for me that self growth and self growth means I can ask for more. And asking for more means I can give back more. Giving back more means, shoot. I don't know what happens after that. What happens when we move on? Maybe I get promoted to the upper echelon of, you know, guiding spiritual presences in the universe. Is there an organization? I don't know. All I know is that it feels right inside me. And so I do it. And so many of the people I speak to, we just agree. We're like, yeah, I just, I have to. But I don't really have another choice. This is just how I am and who I am. Okay, let us get into us. So close your eyes with me and if you've never flow dreamed before, you're going to be tempted to try and meditate. Don't do it because it's just going to irritate you. When I start making my emotions come forward and trying to draw you along this emotional spectrum with me, you're going to say, why are you so excited? Why are you so amped up? You're distracting me from my meditation. And I'm going to say, exactly, because it's not meditation. What we're doing is an active form of emotional reconditioning. What we are doing is communicating. We're talking. We're having a conversation with the universe. And this kind of conversation does not require you to shut down your mind or focus your mind or even just open it and transcend and expand. Those are all other ways of communicating. This way is where we feel. We feel deeply, we feel strong, we open up our empathic ability to communicate. Manifesting and empathic intuition go hand in hand. They are brother, sister, they are king, queen, yin yang. Okay. So follow along. And if you want to learn exactly how to do the process, I have a couple great podcasts I can lead you through or direct you to after this. Deep breath. Relaxing. Relaxing. You don't need stress in your body. Stress distracts you. No, in this conversation, it's just you. You and your flow. You and this greater part of yourself. Great being that you truly are expressing yourself right now through this physical body. Oh, my, What a challenge you've set up for yourself. Oh, feel that? It's a kind of giddy excitement. You set up this crazy, beautiful challenge for yourself. You and everyone else here on this planet, which is, how do I take something huge and beautiful and ancient and aware, squeeze it into something physical and clunky, further limited by the brain and the intelligence and the genes that are going to heavily influence this. Oh, my. Makes you wonder why you signed up at all. But there must be something here. This must be a means, a method for understanding yourself deeper, for seeing what happens, what happens when you push yourself, what happens when you limit yourself. How do you respond to limitations? If you are God and you put yourself in a very cramped and small environment and you wanted to ask yourself, how do I respond to limitations? Who am I when I don't have all my power? Who am I when I'm not limitless? Who am I? How do I react? How do I behave? What will I learn from this? What will I see from this? How will this expand my understanding of myself? Oh, my. Do you already feel how amazing you are? You're asking yourself this, you're doing this. And here's the funny thing. The harder your life has been, the deeper you've been willing to go, to look, to find out, to experience and know. But look, there comes a point when you realize it doesn't have to keep being hard. There comes a point when a part of you is waking up. You feel that. Shake off, wake up, shake off those sleepy head. Rub your eyes, Take your head off that feather pillow. Do you see yourself doing this? Feel it, See it. You're out there. In the cosmos, you're in the flow. You're waking up and you're saying, oh, you're right, I've done a lot of stuff and let it get really hard and difficult. Hold on here. Part of this is for me to break through this and realize I don't need to make it be so hard anymore. I wonder if I can learn things from easy. I wonder if I can release myself to my natural flow, to bounty, to abundance, to goodness. Because it's funny, when I try and do that, all kinds of things leap up and prevent myself. I say, I can't have that. I don't deserve that. How could I have it if someone else doesn't? I'm not strong enough for that. Wow. I guess there are a lot of things to learn from being successful and happy and self accepting. Maybe I need to let go of all those hard, difficult challenges and start being self accepting. That's ah. How does that feel? You take that inside yourself and you say, yeah, well, how do I do that? Look around you. Do you see where you are right now? Where you just went, as if by accident, by magic? Because it's just who you are. Your nature led you there without even trying. Deep into a daydream. Yes. You know you're in a daydream. It doesn't matter. You can be two places at once. Who cares? There's no limits. Nobody's telling you yes, no, you can, you can't. You're in this beautiful place of flow and light and energy. It is the place behind the physical world. It's practically where you go when your pure source energy, after all the physical is done. It's practically there. This is where you are you. Where stuff is being put together in your life, possibilities are flowing toward one another. You're a tiny bit in your future. You're a tiny bit outside of your regular life. Just enough to see and plan and know. And you realize there was no struggle to get here. This is natural to you. You were given this ability as much as you were given the ability to breathe or digest food. It just is part of you. It's part of the whole essence. It's part of the whole being. And in this place you're saying, I've got to figure out me. I've got to figure out what I am, who I am, what beautiful part of myself I'm expressing to the world. And there's nothing that will distract me from that. There are certain things I'll take in and develop with me. Alongside me, I'll become Part of them. They'll become precious to me. My family, for instance. Those relationships I care deeply about. But, you know, the reason I bring them in is because they're part of my intimacy. And when I see things, when I feel things in me that I. I just don't want to touch, I don't want to go to. And I think how I want to avoid them. And sometimes I say, I don't want to go back there. And sometimes I just say, no, I don't really like it. It's. This makes me uncomfortable. That's when I wake up. It's like another level, another part of me wakes up and shakes off and says, hold on here. You're really going to allow there to be parts of yourself you don't want to touch, you don't want to encounter? You don't want to at least check in and ask, am I ready for you yet? Am I able to encounter you yet? Really? And that's when you realize, yeah, I do. I can at least ask, am I ready to encounter you? What are you? Who are you? There's something in me that's been holding me back. I'm ready to look at that. I'm ready to say to it, I don't really want you in me like that anymore. I want you to be different. I want me to be different. I will be different. And that's when I realized there's no person I can blame for this. There's no past life I can blame for this. There's no other energy condition in my life I can blame for this. If there is, it's because I'm actively holding on to that. I'm using that. I've decided to use that as a justification. I don't need to do that anymore. Why would I want to hold on to that? I'm gonna free myself right now. And you feel yourself freeing. You feel yourself untangling. It's like freeing yourself from ropes that have been bound around your legs. Do you see how easy it is to kick them off? So easy to just kick them off. You do, and you say, ah, I want to get to know myself. Every part of me, good stuff, bad stuff, all the stuff in between. I owe it to myself. I owe it to God. I owe it to Source. I owe it to my family. Because this is the only way that I can find true love for myself. True love for myself means looking at it all and saying, okay, this is what we've got. What are we gonna do with this? Get deep, get intimate, get fearless. And that's the feeling you linger on as you daydream. Begins to fade, come back. Three, two, one. Okay, so this was not your typical flow dream. There was much less about getting into the flow, feeling yourself align. There was much less about manifesting things. But what we were doing was active energy work in the flow. I do this all the time with people, especially in private sessions and in my mentorship groups. This is where you start. This is the core of everything. Can you imagine if you really embraced everything we talked about in there and then you decided, I'm going to go out and get a new job? Bingo. It's tremendously easy. I'm going to shed all of my debt. Bingo. It's easy. I'm going to meet a wonderful partner who I'm going to go into the next step of my life with. Bingo. It's easy. It all becomes easy after that. Easy. It's a question then of what do you want to explore? What do you want to try? What do you want to taste? What do you want to find out and experience in yourself and in your life? Okay, I'm going to let you guys linger on that as we go to a quick break when we get back. By the way, I do take your calls. I haven't mentioned it, but I see you guys waiting for me, so stay with me when we get back. If you want to know how to call in, just go to my website@flow dreaming.com. look up podcasts or radio. To me, the most perfect kind of psychic is one who not only tells you what's coming up for you, what's, you know, heading into your future, but also where you've been, and then asks you, what do you want to do about it? Let's change it. Let's manifest. I think that's where all of our energy work is going. Okay, quick break and I'll see you in just a moment.

Welcome back to Flow Dreaming. Oh boy. When I said the call in, boom, boom, boom, boom. Let's see if I can get through as many of you guys as possible. Angela, I think you've been waiting for a little while, so let's see what's on your mind today. What can I help you with, my dear?
Hi, Summer.
Hi.
Okay, this is my situation. I live in LA right now and I have been feeling that Hawaii may be the next place for me to live. But before I actually move, I feel I need to visit for maybe a month and see what opens up for me. And also I met this guy late last year who lives in Hawaii and he's. He has visited me twice here in la and when I told him that I was planning on visiting Hawaii for a month and had a place to stay, but was wondering if he'd want to host me for part of my trip, he didn't seem particularly enthusiastic. His response seemed more like, I just wanted a place to crash and he'll be working most of the time. So I'm kind of like at this transition to my worm. Also, I'm a cage worm thinking about having kids before it's too late. And want to meet my life partner and have things happen, but. So I got your flow dream about bringing the love of your life my ideal body and dad, like, so well. I just want to, like, pack it all in before I make this trip to Hawaii. But I was wondering what you are getting on, how or when to visit Hawaii. I feel like it's this year. And what's going on with this guy, because I. I do feel that we have stuff that we aren't saying to each other. I don't know if I'm imagining it.
Okay, wait. Let's just stop. Tell me what his name is so I can get a read on him. Okay?
Okay, thanks. It's Jay.
Okay, Jay. All right. And tell me one more time, have you been together with him and intimately? No.
I mean, he's visited twice.
He's visited twice?
Yeah, he's visited me here in LA twice. But it's friendly with a romantic tinge.
Yeah. Okay, let me go find him over there. J.J. all right. Jay, where are you? What do you think of. What do you think of Angela? What do you think about her desire to come over there? Why are you being cagey about it? Well, you know what he's feeling like to me, first of all, it's hard to catch his attention. He's got his mind on all kinds of things. You know, he's kind of a busy guy. Even if he doesn't seem like he's getting much done, his mind is everywhere. It's like always on one thing to the next, to the next. When he thinks of you, he's like. It's like, you may notice this about him. He has a tendency to kind of just put things off in like, yeah, I'll do that. I'll get to that. I'll get to that. So he always seems like he's very open for things. Like, he seems really open. But when it comes to actually having something occur, to going after it, to saying yes and committing, he's much more slippy, slidey. It's part of his nature. So when you said you wanted to come over and visit, it was kind of like, yeah, if it works out. Yeah, I think. Oh, I'm asking him. Sorry. It's popped up. What about the things that she says that you guys aren't really communicating and talking about? He's a little confused. He feels like, yeah, I guess. What are they again? It's because he doesn't, you know, he's like a little fly. He doesn't land too often. So when you're Saying there's stuff we need to agree on. What you're coming from is a perspective of we need to agree on stuff, we need to know stuff, we need to decide on stuff, plan on stuff, acknowledge stuff. And his feelings are more like, well, okay, if you want to. But you see, he doesn't share your nature that way. He's just more like. Yeah. What happens, happens. If he has a girlfriend, it's because she lives next to him and you know, in Hawaii or whatever. And they just naturally hang out and then they're seeing each other and it's not planned.
Yeah.
Do you see that? Have you noticed that in him?
Yeah, I think I kind of me, I kind of want to know if I should. I like, for me, I like knowing, like, if I should cut my losses and just redirect Focus.
Yeah. So. So, Angela, the problem is you are. You have a different nature than he does. And if you. Even in best case scenario, let's say you guys do end up together, you're always going to be saying, let's do this. Here's what we're going to do. I want to know, let's talk. And you will always feel like he's sort of there and sort of someplace else. He's committed because he wants to please you. He'll say yes to you, but then later you'll wonder, did he really mean that? And it doesn't have anything to do with truth or dishonesty. It's his personality, it's his nature. He is suited for a woman who's kind of like him, who's sort of, you know, free floating. And that's. That's what you're not. I would advise you to just kind of let it go. I just don't think you guys have enough similar inside you. He would be very pleasant to hang out with and enjoy. And he would awaken that sense of playfulness and kind of free floating in you. But for a life partner, I think he'll drive me crazy.
Okay. All right.
Okay. That helps you.
Yeah. And then what about Hawaii? Like, should I even visit?
You know what? I gotta let you go because I need to let somebody else have a turn. As far as you moving to Hawaii. Again, I think it's because you're wanting to explore a different feeling inside yourself. You know, you are. And that's partly why this guy attracts you. It's an overall theme. You want to explore what it's like to just relax and to float a little more. You're wanting and that. That's why it's beckoning to you. It's. It's because you want to explore that. Be that. That kind of sensation being philosophy inside of you to expand you, to sort of add to you. I think after you were in Hawaii a while, you would need to settle and sink into a more solid group of people, a grounded group of people, because ultimately you are grounded. Okay. So you could go there. Just know why you're going there, what you're looking to get out of it, and knowing that eventually you will have to get yourself really grounded there. But you could do that anywhere. It's not Hawaii, per se, that will do that for you. It's just Hawaii. That will kind of help you balance out a bit to get there.
Okay.
All right, my dear, I gotta let you go. Thank you. Thank you. You're welcome. Bye. Now, let's see here. Who do we have? Oh, geez, Mariah, you're from San Diego. Hey, what do you think about our rain? Aren't you so happy we had rain finally?
Yeah, a little bit.
A little bit. Oh, did you get stuck in the traffic or something?
No, just. I like the sunshine. I know you need the rain, but.
Yeah, you know. Yeah.
Anyway, so I'm at home. That's better than being at work and driving in the rain.
Yeah. What can I help you with?
So I talked to you several months. A couple of months ago. I don't know if you remember me. I'm the Virgo. And I talked to you a little bit about this guy that I had met online, and he lives in Pennsylvania. We've been talking for six months. And I felt really, really connected to him. And it's really unusual because I have issues with connecting with people that I may be interested in. So I kind of wanted.
What do you mean when you have issues connecting?
Well, I don't know.
It's a show about intimacy, Right? Intimacy with yourself. Intimacy. Yeah. With others.
Yes. So I've just kind of been stuck. I've been single for five and a half years, coming out of a really serious relationship, and I've been single for that five years. Three years I've been dating. And so I've kind of been stuck with dating and trying to get close to someone. I kind of wanted your help of what direction I should go into. Just kind of been, you know, staying low key, Just kind of going to work and just kind of going within my routine every single day.
Yeah.
But I really want to find someone and get close to someone. And I met Adrian six months ago, and I finally connected with Someone, but he lives in Pennsylvania. So what do you do with that?
What do you do with that? Right. You know, let's. Let me see here. I'm looking at you, Adrienne. I'm kind of putting as an aside, okay, you're looking, you're looking. You know, there's something in you still. I know you said you had to work out your last relationship. Your last relationship, though, really still is informing your energy. You're still forming expectations about what you will have, what you can have, kind of based on that last relationship. I can see because when I'm in you, when I feel you and looking out from your eyes, so to speak, you're kind of. You, like, plug people in to your schematic and you see if they fit or they don't. Are you going to be like this person but not like them and like this? There's. There's a little of. There's. It's like you're still using that relationship as a comparison, as a blueprint. What you need to do, though, is say, no, I don't use that relationship as a comparison or a blueprint. I'm not comparing and contrasting people to that. Because you see energetically what's happening is when you're, you know, comparing or contrasting to your past relationship, your past relationship is still the defining thing that you're bouncing the energy off of. Your past relationship has to be put in a little box, and you can be intimate about this. It's not that you're denying it or putting it aside. You put it in a little box in your heart with a little bow on top, say, I treasure you always. My next relationship, though, very different. It's going to define itself on its own terms. And there'll be some terms from me, and here's what they are. But otherwise, I'm wide open to something very different. And just that energy creates a sense of excitement, a little nervousness because you're not as in control of it. Okay, I'm getting an earful that I need to wrap up with you, my dear. I wish I could spend longer, but I think just start thinking it from that perspective. Just think a lot about that blueprint stuff. Okay? Okay. All right, Mariah, thank you so much for your call today. Take care now. Bye. Obviously, I need to go to calls earlier so I don't cut you off so quickly. All right.
