Ryan shows how Schematic's components let you add usage meters and paywalls to an app in minutes. He replaces a text counter with a visual meter component, then hooks in billing logic to convert free users or upsell customers.

Hi, I'm Ryan, a developer with Schematic, and I want to go over how quickly Schematic can add paywalls and meters and other features that help drive revenue, but don't require a lot of development effort to get these things implemented in the product. So what you're looking at is it's really a sample, simple sample product that searches Spotify and shows results. And we have this 23 of 100. We've used 23 of 100 searches today, but I'd rather that be like a visual meter that's a little more obvious, a little more prominent to a user. And you can use Schematic to make these really quick and simple. So in Schematic, we have components. In here, I've put a meter component in here, and it's showing the number of searches we need. All we need to do is grab the component ID, go to our application, remove the original 23 out of 100, and add in this component, save it, and our application shows a meter. This is just one way in which Schematic makes it quick and easy to instrument pricing, billing logic, and anything else you need to really convert, you know, free users into paying users or upgrade your paying users to drive more revenue. Thanks.
