Hi, I'm Ryan, a developer at Schematic, and I wanna show you how quickly you can set up your pricing with Schematic. Let's imagine you're an AI e-commerce company. You've got two plans, free and pro, and you've got a couple features in these, one of which, which is usage-based. Let's set this up in Schematic. First, we're gonna create our features. Um, you said there was an AI recommendations feature. This is Boolean, meaning it either will or will not be included in a given plan. We can set up this flag and we don't need to set up an event. Let's set up our second feature, which is saved searches. You know, this is the ability to maybe save your searches, and this feature is only going to be available in the Pro plan. And again, this all looks good. And then finally, we will set up our usage-based pricing. And this was AI searches. This is using AI to search the web for you and find items similar to the one you're looking for. This is going to be event-based because we're going to be tracking, uh, usage, uh, AI searches. And then we will create an AI search event here, um, to track this usage. Great, now we have our 3 features. All right, now let's set up our plans. First, we have our free plan. We are going to map this to an existing Stripe plan that we have set up. Um, this will be a free plan, and then we will add the entitlements. For this one, it has access to AI recommendations, um, as well as it has access to AI searches. Um, but for this plan, we only want to give it 3 searches a month. Uh, so, you know, allow people to use our most powerful feature, but then, you know, encourage them to upgrade. Uh, 3 a month. We'll save that. And this is what we've said. The free plan has AI recommendations and 3 a month. That looks good. And then finally, we'll set up our pro plan. And for our pro plan, we're also going to map this back to a Stripe plan. You know, imagine you already have some customers on this. We want everything to, to map well and automatically. So pro plan, we said $20 a month. And maybe for this plan, we'll give people a trial. We'll give them a 7-day trial., to give them a taste of, of all the additional features they'll have access to with Pro. And again, we will add our features. We said they'll have access to AI recommendations. We said they'll have access to, uh, saved searches as well. Um, and then finally we said they will have access to AI searches. And for them, they're going to get a couple things. One, uh, they'll be allowed 100 of these a month. Um, but then additionally, We'll let them purchase additional searches for 1 penny each. Uh, you know, this little kind of an overage charge where once they've used their 100, they can keep using it and they'll just have to pay a small amount each time. And additionally, we'll set a hard limit on this. And a hard limit is a way to at some point say, you know, they can no longer use this. Normally this is to protect against, you know, either a bad actor who's trying to overuse the system, or maybe someone configured something wrong and they're accidentally, you know, spamming you, if it's like an API setup, uh, this is a way to eventually put a cap on both to protect them and you. We'll save this. And now we have our Pro plan with AI recommendations, saved searches, and $100 a month plus 1 penny each beyond that, which is what we said here. And that's it. That's how quickly you can set up your pricing in Schematic and begin enforcing this within your application. Thanks.
