Superhuman's pricing strategy rests on three principles: every change must deliver more customer value, keep the offering simple with clear choices, and build a framework that scales over the next 12 to 24 months. The company moved from a single SKU to a straightforward pricing page designed to support growth without overwhelming buyers.

The other thing I think we did really well at an early stage was we started with a set of principles and guardrails. Number one was all of our customers should get more value as we roll out new prices and packages. And so we thought about this in the context of our roadmap for 2024, right? This is part of what we are shipping. And, you know, I think if you look at best-in-class rollouts of this, you'll see that a lot of organizations are shipping value as they're changing pricing and packaging too., and so that feels like a pretty well-established, um, best practice. Number 2, we don't want our end solution to be complex. You know, we're going from one SKU effectively today. Um, the solution should be really easy to understand when you land on the pricing page. Um, and so we didn't want too much complexity, too many choices. Um, and then number 3, that whatever framework we develop should support our future growth and development, right? That we're not thinking about this as a snapshot in time today, but rather what is pricing and packaging going to look like for the next 12, 24, or even more months? And how does this framework, particularly on the packaging side, give us something that we can continue to ship into moving forward?
