Hi, my name is Gary Stocker. My presentation for Startup St. Louis will be Will Your College Close? I'm going to spend time showing you the status of 64 private colleges in Missouri and Illinois, and I'm going to use something called the College Viability App to delineate the data that you see in front of you. This is the 2023 College Viability App that lists 30 reports from the National Center for Education Statistics, and we're going to use it to quickly look at at how to compare the financial health and viability of 64 private colleges in Missouri and Illinois. For our example, I'm gonna click on enrollment, and we're going to see that in Missouri and Illinois, that there are most colleges with decreasing enrollment from the time period 2014 to 2021. We're gonna see similar challenges across many other reports, and we can identify higher-risk colleges.
