Springfield College cut its net tuition from $24,000 to $19,000 per student, a 20% drop. Enrollment fell too, so the college lost far more revenue than the smaller enrollment decline alone would explain. The price cut is crushing the school's finances.

Okay, so here, here's, here's where you can see it. They used to charge— so remember, the net tuition revenue is down a whole bunch, a lot more than, than enrollment is. So it's really not a story, although their enrollment is down a little bit, it's certainly not explaining the massive drop in net tuition revenue. This does, this does. Yeah, this is the biggest problem. They used to charge $24,000 per student roughly on average for tuition and fees. Um, now it's down to $19,000. So I did the math on that. That's a 20% reduction in price, net price on average. So that is, that's pretty painful. And even despite the drop in price, they're seeing a reduction in enrollment. So that's pretty concerning.
