This is a YouTube video titled "The Gap AI Giants Miss" containing a monologue or talk discussing the spectrum of AI applications from general-purpose assistants to specialized domain experts, highlighting opportunities in AI model capabilities. The content appears to be a single speaker sharing insights on AI and company creation processes, recorded in March 2025.
There are truly companies that seem, like, very horizontal, where, like, we're going to build a general purpose assistant powered by AI, and, like, it's going to do everything for you, and, like, it's going to be great and solve all these problems. And then there's speech pathologists with paperwork. And, like, these are on two very ends of the spectrum. And I think there's a lot of room between these two things. At the same time, as the model wants to be real, like, it has this really horizontal capability, it also has the ability to be, like, a domain expert at some very specific thing. And I think, like, that artifact transcribed towards the company creation process makes me think that there's something to be pushed in that space, because the AI models are the ones that are powering this, and, like, they have those capabilities.
