Two speakers discuss agentic AI as the next evolution in workflow technology. One shares experience across multiple industries and explains how agentic AI represents a natural progression from earlier automation tools, reflecting on connecting dots across a diverse career.
I love this Steve Jobs connect the dots speech.
Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college, but it was very, very clear looking backwards 10 years later. Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards.
Because I always wondered what my connect the dots moment would be. I worked with every vertical and horizontal you could put on a chart. Military, government, education, banking, transportation, HR automation, AP automation, billing automation. We did it all and integrated with ERPs and CRMs. And so to me agentic AI is just workflow 5.0 and it feels very natural to me. It's very easy and all those years that I put in, I feel like that's my connect the dots that now it's really fun for me to meet with agentic AI founders, be able to quickly understand what markets they're going after. Is this a good investment? More importantly, how do we help you once we make an investment?
