Maven AGI explores whether AI agents will replace human workers, focusing on how leadership and support roles might transform. The speaker argues customer support will become more customer-centric as AI handles routine tasks, reshaping rather than eliminating human jobs.
It's not that the humans are going to go away, it's that the humans are going to do different jobs. New technology requires organizational change and a rethinking of what humans do. Like, okay, fast forward a year. All these AI agents exist, can do all these things. What does it mean for my org? What does this mean for my leadership position in Org? I'm a VP of support, but am I a VP of a bunch of AI agents now? And I think what we believe is that it's going to be a transformation that humans are going to be empowered to no longer do this like input, output, you know, mundane, painful support job, but something much more up leveled and helpful from today. It's somewhat of a cost center. People want to minimize the cost of support. So we think that the future world for us all as end customers will be very customer centric from the point of view of support. And these functional leaders of today, they're going to be doing a different job, but a very interesting and important job in the organization.
