PART 4: George Farah: "I Want Everyone To Take PEDs" | A Conversation With George Farah

In this interview, George Farah discusses a range of topics related to performance‑enhancing substances, health supplements, and his personal ventures. He begins by addressing concerns about pre‑workout supplements, noting that they can be dangerous if misused and criticizing New York State’s move to ban over‑the‑counter bodybuilding products while pointing out the hypocrisy of allowing cigarettes and processed foods that are equally harmful. Farah expands his critique to the broader food industry, accusing large corporations of prioritizing profit over public health. He then advocates for the legalization and medical regulation of performance‑enhancing drugs (PEDs), arguing that if PEDs were prescribed by doctors, usage would be safer and more transparent. He expresses a controversial desire for everyone, including athletes in soccer, to have access to PEDs under medical supervision, and condemns the current black‑market supply. Regarding testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and hormone replacement therapy (HRT), Farah explains that synthetic hormones carry risks but are necessary when natural levels are low, emphasizing the importance of proper dosing and medical oversight. He attributes the medical community’s reluctance to engage with TRT to political pressure, specifically referencing the “Steroid Act” and statements by President Joe Biden. Farah also promotes his recent documentary and bestseller book, describing the documentary’s premiere and the emotional response it evoked, while the book recounts his immigrant journey, the American Dream, and motivational messages for bodybuilders. He mentions a new affordable coaching app (gurugeorgefarah.com) designed to provide personalized nutrition and training plans. Finally, he shares a personal update about his real‑estate situation, explaining the sale and lease‑back of his large New York house and his plans to host visitors. The interview concludes with mutual appreciation and reminders that the documentary and book are available on Amazon.

Pre-workout can be dangerous for the heart.
Joe Biden told us it's very bad.
What is your take on TRT and HRT?
You might as well go right to the hospital.
Devin Haney versus Ryan Garcia fight.
I was so humbled by the experience, man. Like, I was sitting there in tears.
There was actually a recent news break that New York State is banning bodybuilding product, over-the-counter bodybuilding products like pre-workout. I don't know if they're banning protein for the minors. You know what I mean?
This is so sad. This is so sad. But then anybody can go get cigarettes and get, you know what? I don't, I don't get it. I don't get it. Like you ban supplements. I understand if supplements for younger kids or whatever, It might hurt them. You know what I mean? I'm not, I'm not big fan of sweetener. You know that a lot of companies use it, but there's great amount of supplements. It's great for you. You know, for an example, if they really want to ban this, you know, you know what they should ban? They should ban all cold cut because cold cut right now, it's actually, you know, if you go on the Cancer Institute of United States, it tells you cold cut. They're actually, you know, they're stage 4, you know, so as a carcinogenic. So it's, it's, they're the same as cigarettes. So I don't understand why nobody tells you, you know, when you go buy those, you know, processed food, they should tell you, hey man, this could cause cancer like they do on the cigarette, but they don't tell you. You know why? Because there's a lot of money to be made and they don't care about us, you know.
That's crazy.
You know, and it's, believe me, people think it's only the big pharma. No, bro. It's, it's the, you know, the, the United States industrial, it's, it's the food corporation. Those, they make more money than the pharma. They make 50 to 60% profit. Mm-hmm. And those the one, they hire special engineer just to make people addicted to the food. It's crazy.
Do you think pre-workout can be dangerous for the heart in general over the period of, over prolonged use?
It depends, you know, depends anything, you know, anything Anything you exceed the limit. If you take aspirin is great, you know, to thin your blood if you're, you know, if you have a little headache. But if you take bottle of aspirin, you might as well, you know, go right to the hospital. You're gonna have ulcers. So everything with limitation. So read the label, follow what the company is telling you, don't overdo it. That's the problem. That's why they tell you, you know, if you're not 18, why you think they tell you this? Because you know why? Because a lot of people, when they're not 18, they think they're invincible and they think the more the better. And some of them, they're in their 20s still doing this, you know what I'm saying? I mean, I know people in their 20s, they come to me, oh, look what I'm taking. I'm like, why, dude? You, you can't even win your local show. Why are you taking all this? But in their mind, the more the better. You see what I'm saying? That's not necessarily the truth.
Another thing I want to ask you about PED-related. So recently there was a Devin Haney versus Ryan Garcia fight in boxing. I don't know if you saw it or not, but Garcia won by a decision and then everybody thought he was very dominant in that fight. Then a week later or 2 weeks later, they said he was supposedly using PEDs. They said some PED he was using, then they cleared him of them. But do you think in MMA and boxing they should just Potentially stop testing for PEDs because it seems like everybody's using it to a degree anyway, right? Do you think you should stop testing in the martial arts and boxing?
Yeah, you know what, dude? I want everybody to take PED because if they make it legal, nobody will care anymore, you know what I'm saying? This is me though, but you might think I'm crazy. I want the soccer player, you know, to take it. So instead of watching soccer match, and be 1-to-1, maybe be 15 to 15, 25, you know, it'll be more exciting like that. Like what's his name, the comedian, say it. So I don't really care, but guess what? Like I said, it's better if they make it, you know, if they legalize it and be controlled by your doctor what you're taking, not just go buy like those, what those, some kids are now buying. God only knows all that shit coming from China. We don't know what the hell is in it. You know what I'm saying? Versus back in the days, you could still get some some stuff from a doctor or whatever. Not anymore, man. It's all on the black market. So it's scary right now. It's scary. And these people inject it like they don't care. You know what I'm saying, dude? This is the body. The body is from God. It's a temple. You need to take care of it. Oh, I don't smoke and I don't drink. But yeah, you're freaking pin cushioning. I mean, they're crazy. So yeah, you gotta. I think if they made it legal and And to be like, you know, prescribed or whatever, I think it's better than the way it is right now, you know.
What did you take on TRT and HRT? Um, and why do you think— now, now that you're a doctor, right? Um, it seems like to get the TRT treatment, for example, testosterone replacement therapy, right, you have to go to a special clinic for that, which is Longevity Clinic, right? It seems like regular doctors, they don't really want to mess with that at all, right?
Um, you know, some do, some don't, you know, but in reality you need to remember something, okay? Everything you put in your body is synthetic, it could be, it could have some side effect to you, you know what I mean? One way or another. But if somebody, let's say somebody, he's just never done anything, whatever, and then he's 40, 50 years of age and his, you know, his test level is very low, it's actually very dangerous. It's better to be on TRT. You know what I'm saying? It's very dangerous. Sure. Because I know for a fact, you know, you have to do TRT if your testosterone level is low. Now you're looking for a lot of trouble, including you know, you know blood pressure, diabetes, heart problem. So like I said, it's always good to be like within level. You don't want it low, you don't want it too high, you know. So, you know, this is the problem. Like, everybody wants to be, you know, feeling like he's 17. You're— it's not gonna happen, you know. You gotta let time do your time, pass somebody else. But at the same time, I think TRT is a great thing, and any smart doctor should actually look at your blood work and say, hey man, your testosterone level is low. If you don't want to do it, at least send you to somebody, you know what I mean?
I agree. But why do you think, now that you're a doctor, right, what do you— why do you think the medical community kind of Generally speaking, they don't even want to— a lot of them don't want to get into that situation.
Because Joe Biden told us it's very bad. Steroid Act. You remember Steroid Act? Joe Biden is the one who said it. Steroid Act is no good. And right now it's okay to use a steroid if your little girl want to be a boy. It's just so whatever fits their narrative. And that's what made me so upset about some stuff though. And I'm being honest with you. You know what I'm saying? I can't prescribe. you know, anything because I don't want to lose my license. But if somebody comes to me and give me his blood work and I say, hey man, you know, I want you to go see this urologist because, you know, I think you don't want your test to be that low because it's a problem. Remember what I said, information is power, misinformation is deadly. You know what I'm saying? 100%.
All right, George, let's talk about your new book. Let's talk about a documentary. Tell me about both and what's the difference between a book and a documentary? Which, which What's covered in the book, what's covered in the doc?
Well, you know, the documentary, basically all my athletes talking about me. And let me tell you something, man, it was freaking crazy. I was just seeing the press release, St. Petersburg, where they did the premiere, the red carpet. They said they have never had 6,000 people show up.
Wow.
It was nuts.
That's amazing.
I was so humbled by the experience, man. Like, I was sitting there In tears. And then I look to my side, I see Kai crying watching it. It was really, really— it's a touchy feeling because, you know, I'm not tooting my own horn. Other people talking about me and they're being real. They're talking about like how they felt, man, like when I was, you know, they found out I might die. It's really amazing, man, to see, you know, to see and feel the love by so many people. It's a blessing. The book is a little different. The book is, I kind of pour my heart in it and show people, you know, like, what an amazing country we have, man. A lot of people don't know that, you know, like how, yes, I struggled, you know, to live the American dream, you know, coming from, you know, torn war country, you know, hating each other, whatever, then to come here. And I thought, you know, you see it in the movie, oh my God, you're just gonna get here and start Women is everywhere, and you're gonna make so much money. Wasn't that way, man. I really had, so I pour my heart into it, and I think I'm gonna make another book about how to defeat cancer and all that stuff. But that first book is about, you know, like the state of mind. Like I really, I want every bodybuilder and everybody who's down and thinking is down to read it and see like how George Farahman managed to, you know, like. You know, beat all the odds, you know, and take every negativity and use it into positive. You know what I'm saying? From sleeping in my car to buying one of the biggest houses here in the area. So it's just amazing, man. Again, we have the best country in the world, but it's up to us what we need to do about it. You know what I'm saying? Because people hear bitch and oh, and I don't have it and this and that. Dude, all what I'm going to tell you is Take a little trip to another country. Go to India or Pakistan or Sri Lanka, or you'll be you'll be flabbergasted seeing these people how they live and they're still thankful. So bodybuilder taught me a lot. Bodybuilder really really emphasized everything I knew when I was a little kid. And you know you know I'm here because of bodybuilder man. Give me like that state of mind, staying positive and stuff. And you know, and all what I want to do, and if it was a documentary or if it was a book, I just want to pay it forward. As a matter of fact, a lot of people tell me, George, we can't afford, you know, like paying $10,000 or $5,000 for your diet and stuff. So I had the new app. It's gurugeorgefarah.com. gurugeorgefarah.com. The app is only like $30 a month. And I'm gonna tell you something. I'm working so hard. They've been like a year working to make it almost identical to the way I want it because I want somebody, if it comes to me, say, listen, you know, I'm, I'm, you know, I love bodybuilding. I want to be bodybuilder, but I can't eat gluten. So I'm like, okay, I want you to do this, you know. So everything, you know, if you just want to eat fish, pescatarian, and so, so I, I made the really cool app. It's like I said, gurugeorgefarah.com.
Nice, George. Do you still live in the biggest house in New York? Last time we spoke, you said you want to downgrade.
Well, what happened is, I don't know if you remember Jeff Logan. Jeff Logan, he's been on your show. He's a new actor on Netflix. Of course, he's from the area, so he came and kind of like, you know, leased it from me. And, you know, still in my name, but hopefully in October we'll take over. So it's so weird how things happen. I have built a house in 2009 here, which is 4,300 square feet, more than I need, you know, not like the mansion. And I sold it to a friend of mine, and that poor guy passed away. So his wife called me, she said, hey, you're selling your house, would you want to go get back to your house? I said, yeah, you know, my pleasure. And it's so funny, since 2014 till like 2 years ago, I had to pay her almost $350,000 more because Thanks to our administration, our dollar is not worth a lot. But you know, I'm back in this in this house right now, and the other house is still on my name. I still have the house underwater. So you guys gotta come and visit me. You keep promising.
You gotta come. You gotta invite me, George. You gotta invite me, man. I want to come. I want to come chill with you out there, man.
Anytime, man. Seriously, anytime. It'll be my pleasure.
I appreciate. I appreciate it, man. So thank you. This was a great interview, man. This is gonna. This is gonna be great. I feel like. Good luck with the documentary. People can watch it on Amazon.
Yes, yes.
And the book, I'm sure they can buy it on Amazon as well, right?
Yes, yes. The book, it's actually bestseller, believe it or not. I was like—
I can believe it. I can believe it, George. You deserve it, man.
That's good, man. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you, brother.
Flash, let's stay in touch, man. Let's do more stuff because I really want to pay it forward.
