How to BUILD A $1M COMMUNITY, COURSE, or MEMBERSHIP (In 9 STEPS)

What you're looking at here is the math behind a $1 million membership. So let's say you're starting with 24 members. That's on average what the vast majority of Mighty Networks have in their first month. And let's say that you are going to charge $48 a month. That's again, our average monthly price across Mighty Networks. And so that's $576 a year. Typically people discount it to about $500. Let's say you start with 24 members and you grow your membership 10% every month. All this means is that amongst those 24 people, they have 2 new people that they bring in in the first month, and then in the second month. They bring in 3 more, and then that goes on and on. Well, you would have at the end of 12 months basically a $40,000 a year business. Granted, that's not a million dollars. I understand that. But if you think about it, this is a pretty easy business to create that would result in $40,000. But it's better than that. Let's now say that you grow at 50% per month. That just means half of your 24 members bring in one other member, and then that just continues month after month. At the end of 12 months, you will have a $1.195 million business. That is shockingly easy to do, especially because you've got more people coming in, you've got great technology that is only getting better and better in terms of making those relationships between your members so strong that they're getting such incredible results that they're sticking around longer and they're inviting new people in. That's why I can sit here with great confidence and say that a $1 million digital business where you are bringing people together to achieve something that you can be incredibly proud of is not only possible, but it is getting easier and easier. Number 1, you need your ideal member. And your ideal member is the person who needs and wants your community the most right now. They are the people that are the most motivated and they're not Always the people that you think that you should start with. And then you are there to help them get their best year ever. Their best year ever is one of the most fun parts of the entire People Magic process, and I can't wait to show you what it is. Then there is the big purpose. The big purpose is your pitch. It is the reason your community exists, and it is so simple. It is your ideal member. Plus their best year ever equals your big purpose. From there, you wanna go into, okay, what am I actually gonna do in this thing? That comes down to 3 things. You've got your monthly themes, you've got your weekly calendar, and you've got your daily polls and questions. Those 3 things are the foundation to anything you wanna create that brings people together, that creates people magic. I know it sounds simple because it is, but some of those multimillion-dollar creators and entrepreneurs I showed you before, this is what they are doing and it is working. Finally, you got to get your community out into the world. So you need your offer, you need your launch, which is so much easier than you think it is. And then finally, The part that 99% of digital businesses miss because they're so focused on all of the integrations and all of the rules and all of the things that make especially high-ticket courses or memberships feel like work, which is you want to create a magical first experience.
