Hey, hey, hey y'. All. Glenn, Bill in the house at the University of attitude with day two of our attitude chat, we like to take about 13 minutes to deliver some content from my international best selling book right over here called the ABCs of attitude. Hey, love that notification pops up and we're here to just help you through your homebound excursion. Not going outside. I know a lot of you are sitting inside. I've been on the phone all day with people going, man, Glenn, I think we ended up with several hundred views of our last chat. We're going to do this chat every day at 3 o' clock for 13 minutes and I'm going to help you guys think about ways to keep your mind off being bound up, ways to keep your mind out of the media, ways to keep your mind free from being fear and imprisoned from those people that we call the media. I know they're reporting the best they can, but I think you really need to understand and ask yourself the question, how does what I watch on TV affect me and does it make me a better husband? Does it make me a better spouse, a better parent, a better friend, a better volunteer? Or does it spiral me down into the dumps? There's so much that people are looking at right now that you know what, they watch 30 minutes of the news and they're paralyzed. They don't know what to do. So the idea of the University of attitude chat for 13 minutes is, is to give you a couple thoughts to keep your brain free, to keep your brain working. But most of all, what we want to do is give you something called an attitude exercise. Because if you want to increase your positive attitude, if you want to work your way through these next two weeks, looks like the national deal is eight days. You got to exercise your attitude. It's just like exercising your muscles. If you want to have a healthy body, if you want to have a strong body, you got to exercise. You got to do your push ups and pull ups. So what I'm hoping that you're going to do here is what's up Chris? Good to see you my friend. You stay on here. Please share this if you can, because here's the deal. Every, every day, three o' clock during the week, not during the weekends. You're going to be on your own on the weekends. We are going to do a attitude chat. And we did attitude booster number one, which was be nice. Yesterday we talked about five different ways to be nice. And we talked about five things that have gotten better in your life because coronavirus has come. Those are the exercises that we're looking at doing. What has the coronavirus done? How has it changed your life for the good. If you guys are on right now, I'd love you to tell me who you are. I'd love you to say hi and I would love you to help answer that question. Number one. Yeah, it's here. We're shut down. Things are different. But I'd like to know, can you think of a way or a reason that this coronavirus has been positive for you? Eve Cotton, how are you? Thank you. I joined your fantastic real estate marketing booster. So Eve, it's great to have you with me. I would love to know what you've done or as we do this attitude exercise, my friend, please share this too. What is good about the coronavirus coming into your life? I said several things yesterday. Number one, there's no traffic. You know, I think our roads are getting absolutely scary and dangerous. And the fact that I can drive anywhere I want without a lot of traffic, without people running up my butt is something. Let's get to the task at hand, which is attitude booster number two, which is have a big goal. When we talk about how we can sit in our homes and get away from what is the reality of a coronavirus. Whether it's real. I mean, obviously it's real. I think it's debatable for many people on how contagious it is and if it's worth shutting our economy down. But I want to talk about this thing about have a big goal. And I'd love for those of you who are watching to tell me what is your big goal? And are you thinking about your big goal, asking yourself, what do I want to be? What do I want to do? Or what do I want to have? You know, the mind is a goal seeking device. And you can focus on all the awfulness that is going on. You can focus on how people are going out of business, all the negative things that are happening around you. Or you can be focusing on truly what your big goal is. Hey Carol, welcome in here. I don't know what your big goal is, but it's great to have you. If you guys want to share, I want to engage with you. I want to know, are you really setting a goal? So here's the five things I want to talk about. Number one, your mind is a goal seeking device. If you want to free your mind, free your soul and create more vitality and excitement in your life, you better have a goal that you're thinking about other than all the horrible things that are going on. I'd love to know what your goal is, but here's what I'd really like to know is what is your goal for the next day? Can you imagine if you just think about this, what can I get done in the next 24 hours? Or even what can I get done at the end of today or by the end of today? If you just think about that, I'm certain your mind is going to go off of Coronavirus COVID 19. I'd love you to put in the comments if you can. What is your goal for the end of the day? And I don't really care what it is, but is it big? And the next question is, what is your goal for the next week? At this time next week, President Trump is going to be telling us that our 15 days is up. What do you want to have done by the end of next week? There are so many people. And again, I probably had 20 conversations already today when I asked this question. Half of the people said, I have no goal for the day. I have no goal for the week when this is over. And if you're living in Indiana like we are, you don't even have a 2, 2 goal. So I really appreciate you guys coming in. It looks like we got more and more people if you are in the house. Let me say hi to you all. We got Chris, Eve and Carol, so thank you so much. Please. Sharon replied, because you know what? 13 minutes of positive attitude ain't going to hurt. So number one, what I want you to know is your mind's a goal seeking device. What goal is your mind seeking? Number two, what you focus on is what you feel. And so the question now is, what are you focusing on? You know, the great Napoleon Hill said this. You become what you think about all day long. My question is, what are you thinking about all day long? If you're thinking about a 1 trillion dollar bailout, if you're thinking about how much you hate Nancy Pelosi, if you're thinking about COVID virus is going to kill you, which the odds are it won't, if you're thinking about how your business is going to go down if you are not getting creative. You know, what you feel, what you focus on. If you focus on crap, you are going to feel like crap. So I'd like to know what you focus on that does not make you feel like crap. And I would like to know if you could help us in your comments below what you are focusing on that makes you happy. If you feel down, if you feel depressed, if you feel stranded, it's probably because you're thinking of thoughts in your head that make you feel like that. So what you focus on, and I ask that every day at 3 o' clock you check in with us at the University of Attitude. We are going to walk through the 10 attitude boosters we are on. Booster number two, have a big goal and we are helping you get away from the negativity of the day for these 13 minutes. We're down to eight minutes right now. We got five minutes left. And I want to help you with these things called attitude exercises. And the attitude exercise is simply this. What is your goal for the next day? What really is your goal for the next day? Is it to take a one mile walk, a five mile walk? Is it to drink a case of beer? Is it to drink a good bottle of chardonnay? Is it to enjoy my family? Is it to write as we talked about yesterday, five thank you notes to people that you care about? You know, be nice was number one. My goal is to bring peace of mind in this crazy time to my children, even though I have my own fears. I love that, Carol. Thank you. And that's a great question. How do we bring peace of mind to the kids that are locked in your home? Well, I think that has to do with having the big goal and having the understanding of knowing that what you focus on, you feel. And so I can take somebody who feels completely anxious, completely down, completely depressed and I can change their state. Number one, changing your physical state does a ton to do that. But number two, by simply focusing on something different other than what you're focusing on now. And this is why attitude number booster number two is so big. Because if you can get your children who are in your home thinking about other things that are bigger than them, a bigger goal for their life and hell, a bigger goal for their day, you will find that because your mind is a goal seeking device, they're going to start feeling a sense of accomplishment, they're going to start feeling a sense of purpose instead of a sense of hopelessness and a sense of lethargy. If you know what I mean. So I want everybody out there to talk about. Hi, Chris. Kelly. It's good to see you. We're almost done. We got three more minutes of our attitude chat. But I'd love to know how you're doing, what your thoughts and feelings are, and what you're focusing on to keep your attitude positive. I want everybody to share this. I want everybody to check us out at the Gap. I am the host of the Get Attitude podcast, the Gap. It is on every podcast stream that you can. And listen, if you guys want more, Glenn, Bill, and you want more of some unbelievable people that we are interviewing, you want to hit the gap. I'm on YouTube, too. Every one of our episodes is on YouTube. We have incredible influencers, leaders, positive people that are making a difference. And the Gap is a place that you definitely want to go to get it. And obviously, you can read the book the ABCs of Attitude. Eve, what did you say here? I've seen Zig Ziglar 10 times. I was broke. My dad attended another seminar, wrote 100 goals down in his book. Now, this is something. These are big goals. He accomplished 92 of those goals in the next three years. I just recently bought the Performance planner and I am listings from new 100 goals. So, boy, when you talk about having a big goal, Eve, just put it out there. Here's a big goal. Write 100. Let's do this for our attitude exercise, and when we come back tomorrow, you let me know. Hell, I'll take 10. But can you imagine if you just created 100 things that you want to be that that you want to do or you want to have? And don't ask how I'm going to do it. Right? Because when you ask how it's not going to work, you just got to write it down and you got to believe it. Thank you so much for those comments. But we all know that a goal not written down is just a dream. And a goal written down creates that mechanism in your mind to help you achieve it. And if you want to create a positive mindset, you want to create some momentum for the day, you want to create some excitement in your life, start writing down and talking to those kids that you are with the 100 things you want to get out of life. The 100 bucket list. What you want to be, what you want to do, and what you want to have. That's what we're looking for. I know that our live video is about to end because I only want to keep you for 13 minutes. So we're just want to finish with a couple things. Number one, I think we have a great attitude exercise for today. We cannot increase our positive attitude. We cannot become more contagious, we cannot become more engaged unless we engage with others. But most importantly, if we cannot engage with ourselves. You know, you cannot win in life, you cannot win in life unless you win in your mind first. These 13 minutes that we share with you every day at 3 o' clock are to help you win in your mind. I hope that your big goal is to identify 100 things that you want to be, that you want to do, that you want to have and that you write them down and that you focus on those goals. Because I promise you, people that are watching me today, they are going to create the life you want, the attitude that you deserve and the fulfillment that we all need as we try to get through our next two weeks. It's been fun. I hope you join me tomorrow. I hope you share this video. I hope you invite people to the University of Attitude. We'll be doing this. I'm here to get you to the other side every single day. 13 minutes. Attitude booster number two, have a big goal. My big goal is to see you tomorrow at 3. Thanks so much for checking in. Be good everyone. Bye bye. Don't forget, we are the here too. Get better, grow bigger, glow brighter and go beyond. We'll see you later. This is Glenn Bill signing off for the University of Attitude.
