All right, folks, we are nearing the end of our time together for day one of the Innovation Ecosystem Summit. Have you enjoyed yourself? Yes or yes in the comments? Yes or yes, Because I know you have. Jennifer, any highlights or recaps from the day that you want to share?
Yeah, you know, I, I think there were. Well, I, I hope that what. Some of the themes that came out first from the different sessions throughout the day were about partnership and trust building. I think I heard the word trust, like in every session.
Trust and collaboration. I think Trust and collaboration.
Yeah. And so I think a part of that was some of the conversations around authentic partnerships and what that means and also just that it takes time. It takes time and time to build, but that maybe there are some opportunities across the federal government that we can think about in trying ways that we can help foster those opportunities for relationships there to grow and partner. And again, aligning really well on ultimate mission. And, and just remembering also how everybody is super busy. There's a lot going on and there's also a lot of interesting new opportunities coming down, coming down the pike for specifically, you know, entrepreneurship ecosystem building and so making sure that we're, we're kind of in touch and connected and we're trying to do what we can, but we definitely want to listen. Gosh, what was it? Slow to speak but quick to hear. I think that's, I think that sounds right.
Yeah.
There were some really great nuggets and tidbits I would love to see in the chat, actually. Like, what were your takeaways there from, from throughout the day? Like, what did you take away from that? So I know what about you, Jamila? What were some of your favorite things?
I enjoyed all of this, the discussions, equally. I think my favorite part were the breakout sessions. I got a chance to just peek in every single room and just watching, listening to the questions and everyone just conversing with each other. I think my biggest. I enjoy conversing with everyone and just being here and seeing all the connections that are being made in the chat. That's amazing. If you made a connection today in the chat, just type yes. Or if you're following people on LinkedIn, just type yes. Because that's what this is for. And I also want to shout out to you all who are using the hashtag on Twitter and LinkedIn, milk caps, Eric Whitmore, April Hoffman, Jamal J, alliance for Entrepreneurial Equity and more. Unfortunately, I don't have time to shout out everyone, but just know, just know that we see you and we appreciate your input on social media. It is not too late to share. Use the hashtag esosummit22 but thank you. And with that said, we hope you join us again tomorrow starting at noon. We are bringing the fire again. We're not done yet. We are not done yet. Tomorrow we're sitting down with more ecosystem leaders and discussing how to succeed in today's tech based innovation ecosystem economy. We're also going to be hearing how private foundations, venture capital firms and angel investors are bridging the gap between underrepresented entrepreneurs and equitable economic growth via impact funding initiatives, curated programming, collaborations. There goes that word again. Direct investment and other strategies. And of course, of course we've sprinkled in some of those breakout sessions to dive deeper into some of your topics we're discussing that day. And in those rooms you have the same opportunity as you did today to ask questions and share your own thoughts. And of course, visit AmericaSeed Fund US to learn how you can be part of this community. Any other words? Jennifer? I don't want to hog all the time.
Oh, no, no. I mean, you're definitely not hogging any time at all. And I think many of us could just absorb, absorb your energy.
All right, well, you have the opportunity to do so because if you enjoy today and you're not ready to leave yet, me neither. That's, that's cool because we're hosting a happy hour, or as we're calling it, a connect and reflect conversation. So come join us as we learn more about each other. This is just laid back. Seriously laid back. It's nothing formal. Just bring your virtual cup of tea, coffee or your preferred beverage. I don't care what you're drinking, I'm drinking water. Similar type to how you access the breakout sessions. Just look on the left, left hand side of your screen and click Breakouts. And I just want to thank you again for joining us today and I hope I'll see you at the happy hour.
Thank you everyone.
