My name is Angeline Ripley Wright and I have a store called Ida Red. Well, I have three stores called Ida Red in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We're a fun gift shop. My advice for someone starting a small business is to not be afraid to ask questions, set up meetings and go have coffee and go knock on doors. Because what I found is that most people really want to help you, but you got to go out and ask them. I love music, a lot of choices, but I'm going to go with Shake it off by Taylor Swift because there is a lot of things you gotta shake it off and move on down the road. My one word is grit. Because being a small business owner takes a lot of grit and determination. And whether you're cleaning the toilet or filing your taxes or whatever, you just gotta keep that grit spirit and keep going.
