This YouTube video criticizes high U.S. prescription drug prices, contrasts U.S. prices with other countries (example: UK$41 vs USA$424), gives personal/emotional examples (children needing drugs; insulin costing much more in the U.S. than in Canada), and assigns political blame to Democrats for enabling the pricing system.
These companies are putting profits ahead of people. Pharmaceutical drug prices are astronomically high. Too high, way too high and something needs to be done about them.
Here in America it will not surprise you to know that we pay the highest prescription drug prices of any developed nation in the world.
UK$41 United States of America$424.
They'Re probably not as cheap as they should be or could be.
Why are the pharmaceut charging double what they are in other countries for the drugs that her kids need to stay alive?
Found that the manufacturers set the price solely to jack up profits with no regard for whether families would be able to afford it. So it's time for government to step in on the side of the American people to stop this extortion. There is no reason for a drug as simple as insulin which costs $21 in Canada for a 10 milliliter bottle to cost the equivalent of a mortgage payment or somet.
The democrats are the ones that allowed this to happen they were the ones that were the protector of the this pricing system.
