Chapters

My name is Haley Ferguson. I am a former foster care child who was adopted at three years old. And I've come through many challenges in my life, and I've overcome all of them. And I'm here where I'm at now because of the Fostering the Future scholarship. And I'm very grateful to President Trump and the first lady, Melania Trump, for giving me this opportunity and allowing me to further my dreams of graduating college. Thank you, President Trump, for giving me this opportunity to share my story and be a light for the foster care community and the adoption community and give them a voice. And I would also like to thank the Be Best initiative and the Fostering the Future scholarship for allowing me to further my education and giving me more hope that I am able to achieve my dreams. And there's help out there for me, and there's help for others out there.
