Short excerpt from a March 21, 2025 speech (YouTube video "HUGE things are coming to The Kennedy Center. The future is bright! 🇺🇸✨") given at the Kennedy Center's first board meeting. Speaker emphasizes the Center's national and D.C. importance, announces major planned physical renovations (seats, decor, broad repairs), and expresses intent to "do it right" as improvements proceed over time.

We're here to have our first board meeting, Kennedy Center. I think it's important to save this. It has tremendous potential. This represents a very important part of D.C. and actually our country. Come here and watch it and you'll see over a period of time, it'll improve very greatly physically. We're going to make a lot of changes, including the seats, the decor, pretty much everything needs a lot of work. We want to do it right.
