January Littlejohn joined President Trump at the Joint Session

My name is January Littlejohn, and at the height of COVID our daughter told us she no longer felt like a girl. She was 13 at the time. And so I told someone at the school that we had gotten her help from a counselor, that we were not affirming the false identity at home. And shortly thereafter, we learned that the school had socially transitioned our daughter, where they asked her questions that would have absolutely impacted her safety and had harmful impacts on her psychological and physical well being. It went well beyond name and pronouns. They asked her which restroom and locker room she preferred to use, which sex she preferred to room with on overnight field trips. And then they asked her, how should we refer to you when speaking to your parents? Should we use your birth name and pronouns or your preferred name and pronouns? And this is to effectively deceive parents like us that these social transition plans ever happen. And what they actually did is they affirmed my daughter's self hate. They affirmed in her mind that something was wrong with her body. And so we quickly realized something had gone very, very wrong. We are really grateful to President Trump and his entire administration for the strong stance they are taking on parental rights, because no one loves their children more than parents do, and it's our fundamental right to direct the upbringing of our children, and that includes mental and physical health care.
