A short transcript excerpt of President Trump welcoming the Prime Minister (or UK representative) to the White House. The speakers exchange brief greetings and President Trump emphasizes a longstanding, "special relationship" between the United States and the United Kingdom.

Today it's my privilege to welcome the Prime Minister of a very special place, the United Kingdom.
To the White House.
The US and UK have a special relationship, really, like no other passed down through the centuries.
It's good to know that the United Kingdom has a true faith in the Oval Office. This is a letter from His Majesty the King. It's an invitation for a second state visit. This is really special. This has never happened before. This is unprecedented. I think that just symbolizes the strength of the relationship between us. Thank you. Your leadership. This has been a very good and very productive visit.
