Greg Stevenson's mentor James offered him the Managing Director role at K&S Corporation, an ASX-listed transport company with 1,800 employees. James rang me and said he had my next job. I said, what is it? He said, running a transport company. And straight away I said no. I'd run a transport company before and I did not need to do it again. He said, hold on. He explained it was an ASX-listed company and that I had not done that in my career and that my career needed it. So I listened. Not because of the argument, but because it was James making it and he knew me. 15 years of watching me, 15 years of me showing up, that is what made the argument land.
