The most dangerous thing about a leadership blind spot is that it feels exactly like being right. I did not see mine for years. I thought I was being decisive. My team experienced me as someone who did not really want their input. Same behaviour, completely different story, depending on which side of me you were standing on. And I only ever had access to my version. That is the trap. You judge yourself by your intentions. Everyone else judges you by your impact. The leaders who keep growing are the ones brave enough to ask what it is actually like to be led by them.
