How Important Are Google Reviews For Your Business? | Digital Marketing Evolutions

Greg explains why Google reviews matter for local business visibility, with a focus on real estate agents. Google Screened status and review count directly affect how potential customers find and trust your business online.
Sa. Hey, everybody. Greg here. If you see the orange glasses, you know I'm getting ready to drop some serious freaking knowledge. Google Screened. I don't know how many times I need to say it. If you're not Google screen, you might be stupid. Google screened is top of the first page of Google. People pay me thousands of dollars to be at the top of the first page of Google, to be anywhere in the first page. You can walk in and be at the top of the first page of Google. Oh, but how do I compete? Olivia has 812 reviews. Marlin's got 69. I'm here to tell you you need to be in the top three. But the top three is not the make or break. Really? The top ten, because we go from Columbia to. We go to Lexington, Columbia, Columbia, Elgin, whatever that is. Columbia, Lexington. Assuming these are all close, but they not. May. May not be. But let's go from. Let's look at.08.12 here. Why is she so good? First of all, I'm assuming you're Olivia. Let's take a look at your reviews. Who are the review reviews about? They're about Stacy, Kathy, and Greg. Your first three reviews that are published are not even about you. Olivia, I appreciate you. You probably have a great brand. 800 reviews speaks for itself. If I appreciate your brand and I'm local, okay, cool. You might get my business. But honestly, from my experience and from listening to hundreds of these calls, this is a Google tracking number. Google records the phone call. So Livia is my client. I listen to all of her phone calls. I listen to everybody's phone calls because I want to know, why did you choose Olivia, not Wendy? Let's go down and pick somebody who's maybe at their beginning of their. Of their strategy. You're with home. Snap. Nope. You made a mistake. Let's go down and find somebody. Oh, wow. Everybody's with Homesnap. Let's look at Lloyd. Lloyd, you look shy, Lloyd. Let's look at you. Let's look at your reviews. Gonna dig in here. If I want a realtor who's honest, has integrity, will fight for you, and gets the jobs done. Look no further than Lloyd. He's amazing. Wes, you kind of screwed him over. You've got a star. That means you're a local guide. You know, you can't just put stars up to give a review. That was a year ago. And then Bong John said, the best realtor ever. Okay, I'm a little suspicious. Okay? I was really excited to look at this, and now I'M not. The last review you got was nine months ago from another local guide. Wes couldn't even bother to write anything. And then Bong Jong. Yeah, I'm suspicious. Okay. Sorry, Lloyd. You been canceled. Let's go to the next. Let's look at Joe Alamo. I don't know. This is a really long ass name. I wouldn't have done that. You're giving. I don't even know what this is. Chapin. Chapin Lake. Okay, I don't know what this is, but let's take a look. I really want to find an individual agent. That's really killing it. You speak English? And Polish. Props to you other. Ah, you're gonna get a lot of trash calls for that. Joe is great. My husband and I are new. Joe spent several days and countless hours with us. You got a nice little review there. Let's look at the rest of them. And it's the only one that shows. Oh, my goodness. But you did post some photos. All right, I'll give you some credit for this. Look at this. We got you looking all dapper. There's your logo. There's. There's you looking all dapper at the title company, I'm assuming. Headshot title company. I'm digging it. People are not afraid to cozy up to you. Except that guy, he kind of kept his distance. Okay, I'm gonna give you some credit here for the photos. Great job in the photos. Photos are super engaging. They show up at the top of your profile. I can swipe through them. It's engaging. Google's like, hey, everybody's tapping on this guy's profile. Why not? This is great. Much love for that. Ten months ago for review, though. Not good. Other. Nobody calls for other real estate issues. These are junk calls here. Yikes. Sorry, bud, you don't make the cut. Let's look for somebody. I want to look for somebody tiny. That's killing it. I'll look at Home Snap, but honestly, Home Snap absolutely sucks. They don't even put your picture. And this is a place where they put your picture. So they definitely aren't putting other pictures. And you got a review with no comments. Oh, this is just tragedy to me. Seven reviews. They don't show any of them. It's just pure tragedy. Come on. Somebody in Columbia. Tell me you did not fall for the Home Snap sales pitch or a home sales by jill.com. you didn't put your picture in. Let's look at your reviews. True example how a realtor should treat and help their clients. Nothing short of amazing. Wendy French didn't write anything. Oh, my goodness. You people are not being taken care of by your clients. Amazing and knowledgeable. Clearly loves what she does. Helped me and my wife buy our recent home together. Professional helping us sell our and purchase our home. People love you. People love you. But not for. But only one, two, three times in the last year. Develop your profile, Jill, and you'll crush these people. I'm telling you, Jill, you can crush everybody above you if you just develop this profile. Because. Let's go look at number one. We got to give the number one her do 812. We looked at her. Did she have any photos? Is she engaging it all? She does have photos. Okay, so this is clearly I am the shit. Look at my classy team and our.
