This is a YouTube video titled "Photos can help you attract new followers! #shorts #google #business" posted on August 31, 2022. The content features a speaker discussing how user engagement with photos on profiles, similar to swiping on Tinder, influences Google's ranking algorithms to increase organic traffic for businesses. The video is part of a podcast series about digital marketing and local business owners.

So back up to the photos topic. If you're on your phone looking at these profiles and you're swiping through these photos, people look at every single one of them. It's like they're on Tinder and they're swiping profiles, and every one of them gets looked at. Google reads that as engagement. So whether someone was convinced to call you because of a photo or not, I don't know. But the engagement that Google's reading is off the charts, they're like, wow, this is a really engaging profile. It needs to be. So we'll raise it up the rankings and you'll get more organic traffic from things like that. Awesome.
