Hey everyone, it's Hadar. Thank you so much for joining me today. I'm going to share with you three simple daily habits to help you build a strong and powerful mindset in English. It will help you develop your confidence, help you when learning English, and make you a better communicator in your second, third or fourth language. If you're new to my channel then hi, my name is Hadar. I'm a fluency and pronunciation coach. I'm a non native speaker of English and I am here to help you speak English with clarity, confidence and freedom. Mindset is something that I often incorporate into my work and into my teaching because I believe it is so incredibly important when doing pretty much anything, but definitely when learning another language. For those of you who don't know then mindset is a set of beliefs you have about yourself and according to those beliefs, this is how you interpret the world. It is really how you think think about English, how you use English and how you behave in any given situation. And here's the thing, the way you think about things and definitely the way you think about English is going to determine whether or not you're going to succeed or fail. And in order for you to build confidence and ultimately fluency and succeed in anything that you do, you have to develop a strong and and powerful mindset when learning and speaking in English. So in this video I'm going to share with you three very simple habits that you can easily incorporate into your day to day life. And I promise that you will feel more confident and more capable in English if you start implementing those habits in your life. So the first habit is gratitude. Change journaling every day. Ideally at the end of the day, I invite you to journal for five or 10 minutes about all the things that are possible for you in life thanks to your ability to understand English and to communicate in English. What is possible for you in life thanks to English, what was possible for you on that given day because of English? We are so consumed with everything that is going the wrong way or everything that is not working or where we need to be, but we're not there yet and we forget to look about all the things that we've already achieved. So this is an opportunity for you to recognize that. And when you do that every day, you create a space of appreciation in your heart and in your mind for English and it is a lot more beneficial and would probably make you feel a lot better than the constant negative self talk that you might have when it comes to speaking or learning English. The second daily mindset habit that will help you speak English with confidence and freedom is to choose three affirmations and say them to yourself. At the beginning of each day, think about a sentence that makes you feel powerful, inspired and motivated to do the work and to go out there to the world and speak well with other people. Things like I'm on the right track or My mistakes don't define me or I'm capable of doing hard things, I can figure this out or People need to hear what I have to say. I actually collected A list of 30 powerful affirmations for you to use so you can download them for free. The link is in the description below. So just choose three affirmations and say them to yourself out loud every single day. And if you have one that resonates with you the most, then memorize it and say to yourself every time you feel a little anxious or insecure or when you lose confidence or motivation. And by the way, if you're serious about developing a healthier mindset in English and you feel this is definitely something that you need and to build your confidence, then I highly recommend that you check out my mini training called My English Mindset. Basically, it is a 30 day audio training with daily recordings of 10 minutes each where you listen to it and every day I tackle a different obstacle when it comes to using English as a second language. We will talk about limiting beliefs and experiences that you've had in the past and how to overcome them. We will talk about what's possible for you, how to create the best circumstances for you to succeed, and so much more. My students who have taken this program report that they have seen massive results in their confidence and in their English. It's only $29. I'm going to link to it in the description below. The third daily mindset habit is to write your future achievements every day in the present tense. So think about five to ten things that you'd like to achieve thanks to English or what would be possible for you once English is no longer an obstacle and instead of writing I want to get an English speaking job, write I am working at a global company and I use English daily. Instead of saying something like I want to have more friends in my community, you can write, I am good friends with my child's friend's parents, so write it as if you have already achieved it. Create the possibility in your head so that you will remember what you're focused on, Remember what you need English for, and you will get excited every single morning about this work. I actually do it. Every single day I write all my goals in the present tense. This is something that I've learned from Rachel Hollis. And the crazy thing is that when I look at things that I wrote two years ago, most of the things I've already accomplished. So back then it was just a dream and today it is my reality. And I wrote it in the present tense so I can tell you that it really sets you off on the right track and it keeps you focused on what you're trying to achieve in your life. All right, that's it. These were your three daily habits to build a strong and powerful mindset in English. It will help you boost your confidence and your fluency. So just a quick recap. The first one is gratitude journaling every day for five to 10 minutes. Choose three affirmations and say them out loud every day. And write your goals in the present tense as if you had already achieved them. All right, that's it.
