Always remember new words

Do you find it hard to learn new vocabulary? When you learn a new word after looking at the definition, what you need to DO is be 100% clear on the pronunciation of the word, which means first, make sure you know where the primary stress is, the one syllable that is most emphasized in the word and second, that you're clear on all the sounds. You get extra points for practicing it out loud. Second, several times, comply. Comply. Only then you can look at examples, you can say sentences out loud, and you can create your own sentences. That is the only way to learn. Here's why. Because if you don't know how to pronounce it or you're uncertain about it, your brain is likely to skip that word when it's time to use it. Because you're not going to feel confident, and you will just avoid it.
