Foreign. Hi, everyone. This time we're starting with music. How are you all doing? Welcome to day four. Oh, my God. I can't believe it's been four days. I feel like it's like just this ongoing party that we're having here. Say hi in the comments. Tell us how are you feeling today. How are you feeling? Tell me. I want to see. I want to make sure that you're feeling good. And if not, we'll try to make you feel a little better with today. Wait. Trying to be on beat. Yay, Oscar. Hello, lady. Hello, everyone. Mila is here. Victoria, Gloria is here. Martina. So cool to see you all. Celia. Good. I see familiar names already. This makes me feel so happy. Feel. I. I know that you're doing the work, you're putting in the practice. You're probably seeing some results downloading the workbooks. Okay, amazing. So let's pull it down a little bit here. Okay, cool. So how are you all doing today? How are you all doing? Good. Alice. Alice is here. If Alice is here, I'm. I'm okay. I'm. I'm calm. I know that things are going to be okay so that he is here. Good to see you, my student. Okay, you guys, today we have a special treat for you. Because today we are starting to put everything together, everything that we've talked about already. We're going to start building it together to provide you with the ideal roadmap for you to improve your fluency. And when I say fluency, it really is all about expressing yourself freely and confidently. Okay, so day four, and let me. Let's start with a few. See. Yes. I love today's topic. Good. I hope you would love it even more once we're done. So let's begin, as always, with talking about your biggest takeaway from day three. What is your biggest takeaway from day three? So if you've been here yesterday, you know that we talked about the fluent mindset and mindset in general, and we talked about the things that block us from stepping into and fulfilling our full potential in English, because we know that we can do more and better. But there is something that holds us back. And a lot of those things are internal things that hold us back. So what is your biggest takeaway from day two? 3. To be confident. So, yes, definitely, being confident is definitely the end goal. But how do we become confident? What is confidence? How can you improve your confidence? Get rid of a limited mindset. Great. Or maybe instead of get rid because we don't want this negative, maybe try to put it in a positive way, but maybe acquire. Acquire a mindset that serves us, a growth mindset. We talked about that. Good. Believing in myself. Great. Honestly, if this is the one thing you take away from this training, from this festival, I would be super content. Right? Believing in yourself because you know you have limitless opportunities and options and it's all about the decisions that we make and the belief we have about what we are capable of that is going to determine what actually happens to us in our lives. Because you do. Yes, there are circumstances, but when it comes to you, like circumstances aside, yes, sometimes we can't control circumstances, but everything else we can control the way we think about those circumstances. Right. Like the situation that we live in. We can look at, you know, how horrible it is for us or you know, what are the good things and what can I do to improve. So even though it's not always easy, it's a much better way to manage your life because you would actually the experience of going through life is going to be a lot better. And we talked about the fact that when you have positive feelings and your feeling feelings are a result of your thoughts, when you have positive feelings, then it usually gets you to take action more quickly. You are more likely to take action in the direction of the things that you want to achieve, so on and so forth. Reframing beliefs, great. So limiting beliefs and reframing those beliefs to understand that a belief is something that you hold, but it's not reality, it's not fact. And as a result you need to reframe it to start changing it in your life. And what else do we need? Once we reframe a belief and create like this new affirmation or validation, we need repetition, right? Repetition. Because we need to create those new circuits in our brain, new connections. It's not me speaking bad. Maybe it's them listening bad was the best. Oh, I love it that you, you remember that, right? I was wondering if I should add it. But it's true. Like, hey, you know, I'm doing my best to communicate. Why don't you do your best to listen? Because it's a two way street, this communication business, right? Take off the responsibility off your shoulders. It's not just about you and it's not just you. And you don't need to feel guilty all the time for not being able to communicate effectively. You are doing your best. Other people need to work hard as well. Okay? Consistency is powerful. Consistency is everything. Everything. Because if we do something that is not good for us, the results are Going are not going to be good for us. Right? So consistency is everything. We just need to use it in a positive way. And when we do things that are good for us, then the results are going to be accordingly. Consistency is also, you know, it's. It's the choice that we make to make a phone call instead of writing a text message. Right. Every time we need to communicate. How would that affect your English one year from today and your friendships and your relationships with colleagues if instead of writing a text message, you're making a phone call? I mean, me, I take it back because nowadays people really don't like phone calls. They prefer text messages. I'm kidding. But, you know, it's like the idea is that if you take, decide to take opportunities daily in comparison to not taking, even though it's a small decision every single day, it's going to make a huge difference in the long run. That's called the compound effect. It's like you're deciding to cut down on one sweet drink every day. Sweet drink, sweet drink every day. Right. High E lacks. You cut down on one sweet drink every day. You're not going to feel it on a daily basis, you're not going to feel it every day. But in the long run, you're not going to be adding all that extra sugar to your diet, to your body, and as a result, you won't be gaining as much weight or you won't be, you know, attracting, I don't know, or getting yourself unhealthy because you're adding more sugar than you need to. So we can think of it in different ways. Ten pushups every day, you won't feel it. And you might think, oh, it's only 10 pushup. But in the long run, it's going to pay off big time. The compound effect, small daily decisions that you make that you can't see the impact there isn't incremental growth. But then when you look in hindsight, you see all that incredible progress. So it leads to big results, massive success. Okay. Smart practice, definitely. I'm. I'm obsessed. Obsessed with smart practice. It's hard to be consistent. But now with English language, I feel proud in my habits. Yay. Celebrating you, Joanna. It's amazing. Joanna feels consistent and proud of her habits, which is amazing because as she shared, it wasn't always like that. Don't allow others to hurt me. Maybe using microaggression. Right, Celia? This is true. Like recognizing that when people use microaggression, it's not, you know, don't take it personally don't internalize the judgment or the experience. There is a difference between responding and reacting. We usually operate by reacting to things. People say something and immediately we get triggered, right? Like we respond to me, like we get offended or we answer back, or we get upset. And responding, choosing to respond, which means something happens. I know it's a trigger, right? I know it's a trigger. And then I'm thinking about it, counting to 10, deciding that, you know, it's my choice how to respond, I can react and that has no power there, but I can respond and then decide, okay, here's a trigger. I'm not going to let it affect me. Even though they said something inconsiderate or a bit rude, but it's them, it's not me, it's their experience. I'm not going to let it affect me. It doesn't mean anything about my worth. And even if people offend you, right, or say something racist or you feel you experience discrimination, you can say, this is the situation, of course you can get offended, but you can decide how it's going to affect you for the rest of the day. Because again, it's them, it's not you. You know, your worth. And usually the subconscious mind starts internalizing those things and believing those things that other people said or think about us or the way they behave about it. They behave makes us feel as if we deserve it. So this is something that I want you to pay attention to and make sure that it's not something that you believe in or subconsciously, like some part in you says, okay, probably I deserve it because, you know, my English is not good enough, or probably I deserve it because I wasn't born in this country, so I'm not equal to them. If, let's say you have immigrated to a different country, so make sure you don't operate from that place because you are absolutely at this. You know, you're equal. You deserve the same things. You don't deserve to be treated, you know, any less than anyone else. Not because of your accent or the way you look or the way you sound or the number of words that you use in a minute, okay? So you need to respect yourself and your English, right? And remember that you need to respect yourself and your English first so that other people can respect you too. And if they don't, it doesn't tap into that place where you believe them, right? It doesn't tap into that place where. Because when you don't respect yourself and other people don't respect you, it's like, yeah, they're right. Right. But when you respect yourself and other people don't respect you, you're like, who do they think they are? You know, it doesn't trigger you. So when you get triggered, make sure that it's not about beliefs that you might have about yourself that are causing you to react a certain way. Okay. Does that resonate with you? So a lot of insights from day three. Good. Now, you guys, we need to put it all together. But before that, today's winner. Today's winner is going to win. 30 minute coaching with our coach, Christina. I hope you got a chance to meet the amazing Christina yesterday in the implementation workshop and in the practice group. Were you in the practice group? Let me know in the chat or the implementation workshop. Have you worked with Christina yesterday? Rosella is sleepy. So we collected 30 sprints. So you can practice daily with a sprint and you have lifetime access to that. I love prizes. We all do. I love prizes too. Okay, how's the video quality? Is it good? Sound? I forgot to check. Okay, let's do a quick recap for those of you who haven't watched everything or for those who are a little overwhelmed with everything that we talked about. So let's try to organize it from day one. So we talked about why you are here. We said that you feel your English is preventing you from doing the things you want to do and getting the things you deserve to get. Because you know you deserve more. And you know that it's time for you to finally get those things and you're ready for it, right? You know that there is a better way. You want to feel like you're in your own skin. Skin. When you speak, to speak like yourself. To speak effortless and to just like, allow the words to come out. Without thinking about it or overthinking about it, right? Without analyzing it afterwards. To just speak and connect. And you're tired of the negative self talk that keeps you in an endless loop of frustration. Whether it's, you know, should I do it or should I not do it. Overthinking. Someone mentioned it last time. Or for example, you know, you're not good enough. You can't do it. Why bother? Listen to how you sound. Yada, yada, yada yada. All those negative self talk, all this negative self talk that we talked about yesterday. And you're here because you know that there must be a better way to improve. And this is exactly what we are doing this in this training. And I'm creating this roadmap for you today, bringing all of these elements together. So our goals are one, improve pronunciation to be heard. Improve prosody to get what you want, using tone of voice and knowing what words to stress and getting your message across. Improve vocabulary to express yourself. Right? To have the freedom to choose whatever word you want from the vast vocabulary that you have and feel confident about it. Improve grammar to deliver your message and improve Your confidence to be free. Okay? To just be free. I think I don't need to add any other words because we all know what that means because, you know, it means everything. It means everything to feel free. No judgment, no other people's opinions, no second guessing, no, you know, fear to just be free. And it doesn't mean that you stop learning when you're free, but you do it with joy. So freedom brings joy. In day one, on day one, we talked about understanding what keeps you stuck. Stuck. Why you are not where you want to be right now. And that is because of the old way of learning English that has led to this identity of the non native speaker who is overwhelmed, stuck, frustrated, no strong habits in place, fearful, insecure, afraid of making mistakes, perfectionist, right? So all of those elements are sheer result of the way you were exposed and taught English. And also the culture that we live in in certain cycles that always create this cycle of failure and feeling as if you're constantly failing and not good enough. Okay, Social media and all of those things that kind of like generate that feeling, that and that experience is preventing us from thriving and fully succeeding in anything in life. But definitely in language learning, when you have to have freedom, you cannot have judgment. When you're expressing yourself in a second language, you simply cannot. It doesn't work that way. So this is why we need to create a new way to fluency. And that takes work. But we have a path, a new way to fluency that is more focused where you work smarter, not harder. Right? Where you are focusing only on the things that would get you results. When you're not afraid of making mistakes, instead you're celebrating your mistakes because you know, you know that mistakes are going to put a spotlight on what else you need to do and to improve your mistakes are indicating what your 20% is, right? It all works together. So instead of resenting it, make it your best friend. Making it about communication, not perfection. So all of that is a new way to fluency that leads you to become the new speaker, the new proud speaker of English. On day two, we talked about the system that is going to help you do that, the method that is going to start helping you bridge the gap. We talked about the illusion of learning, right? And this is where it's part of the old way of fluency. Working, working, working, not seeing results. The illusion of learning. We said that practicing English without building pronunciation confidence, the method that I taught you, and it's day one, so if you haven't watched it, we said it's like expecting to run a marathon after reading a book about running. It's unimaginable, right? You wouldn't expect that. Same way you wouldn't expect to learn something and to use it immediately. It's like buying ingredients for a cake and wondering why it's not ready. Sounds like something that I would do, by the way. It's like, but, Gil, I bought everything. Why is the cake not ready? Why hasn't someone made it? So, insights into my home. I don't cook, so I do bake, though. I'm a very good baker. Okay, so we agreed. I mean, I agreed with myself, and hopefully I convinced you that building pronunciation confidence is really the best way to bridge that gap and to put things into practice, to take the things that you learn, right? And to start using it artificially through repetition. And that's how you work from the outside in. You work on it artificially, and then you start teaching your mouth how to use it, and your mouth gets comfortable. And then the brain is convinced that, oh, I can actually use this word or sound or tense. You build muscle memory, right? And that muscle memory is going to be there for you, so you can use it spontaneously without thinking about it when you're speaking the next time. But it's not going to happen if you don't put it to practice. You don't create speaking habits when you were born, you know, think of kids, babies, babies who are born, and think of how they acquire the language. There is this phase, you know, they perceive the language. Great. And then there is this phase that, where they start babbling, right? Like, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba. And the sounds that they make are sounds that exist in their language, generally speaking. So if you think about it, there is, like, so much repetition happening until they're able to make sounds, and then until they're able to say words and repetition there, right? And kids, when they learn a new word, they start using it everywhere. Repetition till it makes sense. So why aren't we learning from that? Why aren't we looking at kids saying they probably know what they're doing, hey, it was us before, right? And applying it into the way we learn a language. How come you have language institutions that give away lists of words or phone apps that give you, you know, all those lists of words and, hey, just do a quick quiz and then you'll remember how to use the word. It's the illusion of learning. And they may. They're making it worse, right? They're making you think and feel as if you're capable, where in fact they're not giving you the real tools, I'm getting angry. They're not giving you the real tools to use it freely. So you might know, like, these things can help you with understanding the words. But even then, like when. When it's out of context, will you really remember 100 words that you've memorized the previous day? No, I have not seen that yet. If that happened to you, let me know in the chat. I'm looking. Don't be afraid. If you are able. Okay. I want to see someone that was able to memorize even 10 words, 10 words on one day and use them spontaneously, freely the next day. Right? So this technology, or. Because it's easy, it's easy to give you lists of words and to make you feel like you're about to miss out on something if you don't know these 1000 most commonly used words or idioms or expressions. I once downloaded years ago, 800 idioms in English. I think I knew maybe 30 of them or 40. Some of them were idioms really from the 40s, right? And it was like a very popular teacher on the Internet. And it was like a lead magnet. So you would get it, and then you would probably get like, you know, sign up for something. Not me. I really feel no. Okay. See a lot of no's notes, right? So I remember, like, looking at this list, and that was back in the day where I thought that this is what I needed to do and know and teach my students. Because I was just starting teaching. I just started teaching and I was like, I don't even know those idioms. And okay, so let me try to make a list out of it. And honestly, like, I just left it. I never opened that file ever again. I don't remember anything from there. And it's just a way to attract you, to give you the illusion of you learning. And because you don't know, that's what you're used to, that's what you've been used to. That's how it was in school. You think that this is how it is, but I want you to be a new speaker of English that is confident in what works and what doesn't work for him or her. So it's not that it's a big no, no, and it's not going to work for everyone. But challenge everything. Challenge everything that you hear and you get. Ask yourself, does this resonate with me? Is this. Does this sound right? Does this bring me joy? Or would I enjoy doing this? Because language learning should be joyful and fun and entertainment and entertaining and friendly. And it's about community, right? In our programs and with our students. And if our students are here, they're going to tell you fun is one of our values, right? If there is no fun, also in the team, on the team, the coaches, if something is not fun for us, we're not going to do it. If we don't feel like it gets us energized, we're not going to do it. If it's like, okay, we feel like we need to do it, but then, no, that's the sign for us. And I want it to be the sign for you. You ask yourself. Even in my big program, I always tell my students, I'm giving you a lot of tools, but if one of them is not right for you, don't do it right. And that's how you work smarter, not harder. Don't do things because you think it's right, but you don't feel like it's making any impact. And then you'll start focusing on the things that bring you joy. And you also shift your experience, right? You shift your experience. We're in this building pronunciation confidence. You shift your experience around what it is to learn English and to use English. You make it joyful, you make it fun, you make it effective. Because when it's fun, it's effective. The brain is much more receptive to things that. That incorporate some. Some emotion. Okay. When there is no emotion involved, it's much harder to learn. I learned that from Jim Kwik, and I know that you had a conversation about him with Vika, so I just wanted to drop the name and say, I know about it, too. Okay. Day three. That was yesterday. So we talked about a little bit at the beginning. So pronunciation confidence is creating those physical habits. Working on your English from the inside out is creating those thought habits. All habits, right? Habit. Working on your English from the inside out. We talked about fixed mindset and growth mindset, and we want to find our path to the fluent mindset. Okay? And since we talked about it a lot. A lot, for a few minutes in the beginning, we can continue from here. Okay. Today. Today we are going to talk about creating your successful English journey. So we're going to. Like I said now we pulled everything together, and I'm going to outline what I believe is the roadmap. And one layer is based on another. So there is quite importance to how we structure it. And this roadmap is something that I have developed over the years. It's not something that I just came up with before this presentation. It's a method that, you know, I've seen work for myself and I've taken the things that have worked and have not worked and thought about what hasn't worked and why and how I would have changed it. And also from working with, you know, I've been doing this for 12 years. Thousands and thousands students face to face, one on one, small groups in person, and then gradually online and, you know, last, last round of new sound. We have over 400 members, so we have 500 members and beyond. We work with people and we listen to them all the time and we listen to their experiences. So, you know, we know what, what is the common ground for all those students. And of course there are individual stories, but this is why within this there's like, this is just a roadmap. You find your own, weigh in it and the things that work for you. A goal without a plan is just a wish, right? So when we set a goal and we're going to talk about a goal or our goals in a, in a bit, when we talk about goals and okay, I want to be fluent. I want this, I want that. We have to have a plan. We have to have a roadmap. It's not a, it's not something random that you do. Even if you create habit right? Around learning, learning habits around doing the work every single day, if you don't have a plan and you're just randomly studying things, you're not going to reach that goal, right? So we need a plan. This is why we're here today. So as a new speaker, you are responsible for your choices and the results that you see in your life. And this is why, this is a reminder of why it is so important, right, to, to plan, to strategize and to do everything and to take it seriously. To take it seriously. Because a lot of you are. It's how. How many years have you worked on your English? Or let's say, how many years have you been in this ongoing learning journey or in this feeling of my English is not where I want it to be. I'm curious. I'm always obsessed with making a plan. I'm not really a plan maker. Chan says five years, 26 years. Yeah. 17. Yeah. 14. That's what I thought. We're not seeing like three months here. Eight months, one year, three years, three, 25 years. Right? And of course, it depends on the age of the person writing 21 years, 2 years, 30 years, more than 10 years, one month. Congratulations. Amazing. 15 years. So don't you think it's time for you to be in a place like after? So I'm not talking about the people who are in this journey for one or two years, but talking about for those of you who are three, four, five years. Again, there is no deadline for learning English, but there is a deadline for feeling not good enough or that your English is not according to your level or that you're not seeing the results that you deserve to see. Right? And this is why. And, and that leads me to something else. It leads me to saying, hey, don't you think it's time to prioritize it and not to. If it's been happening for so many years, don't you think it's time to say, wait a minute, it's not something that I can do on the side, right? And just like, hope that it's going to get better, but maybe I need to prioritize it and focus on it and give it my full attention. I'm not talking about time. You know me, I believe that in, you know, 15, 30 minutes a day, you can make a huge progress. Right? So I'm really not talking about investing more time. And a lot of you are already investing a lot of time. But don't you feel that it's time to prioritize it so you don't have to compromise? 10 years, 30 years, 5 years, 4 years. Now, again, like, I don't think there is a, an end to it because I do think that English does become a lifestyle at some point, a part of your life. That is the beautiful thing about owning your journey is that you're no longer an English learner. You're simply a new speaker. And a new speaker is always working on, you know, their ability, their ability to communicate. Always learning, always improving. I get a lot of hashtags always learning. And I love it so much because it's so freaking true. Always learning. And I'm going to tell you something. Yesterday when I was walking back home from the studio and I felt a little, you know, I have, you know, I've been very busy. We've been doing a lot of things. I haven't been teaching properly for a while because I was on vacation for. And I was, I was under the radar for a month and a half. So I wasn't doing these presentations and speaking. I didn't have a lot of speaking opportunities except for speaking with my team and making videos. So it's not a lot of speaking in comparison to what I'M used to when I'm, you know, when we have the rounds of my programs and new sound and all of that. So I was walking to my car yesterday, and I was listening to Mel Robbins because it was. There was an interview that I was curious to hear, and I found myself repeating her because her Rs sounded very deep. And I was like, well, let me try it out because I feel like I need to warm up my muscles here. I feel like I'm a little sluggish and I haven't done it in a while. I need to. It's like, it's really physical now. I am a pronunciation teacher, coach, whatever you want to call it. I'm using English all the time, yet I don't think that I have mastered it all. And I know it all because those muscles are just muscles, right? Like, when I'm using English, I'm using different muscles, and sometimes they get tired or weak. So we need to strengthen them. So what I'm trying to say is that it's an ongoing journey, and the sooner we receive it, the. The better it is. But we want to have a different place of acceptance. So your fluency roadmap. I think I talked too much right now about all the. All the beginning. Let's start talking about your fluency roadmap. That's what you're here and remember. For those of you who joined, I have a gift for you. Just for the people on the live and people in the group that I'm going to share with you today, you're going to be the first to know about it, and I'm going to share it at the end of the training, okay? Lifelong learning. Your fluency roadmap. So the way I see it, and like I said, I have developed this concept throughout the years, and the order is important because the first thing, before we even talk about language, before we even talk about pronunciation or grammar, we need the foundations. And the foundations are habits, motivation, clarity, okay? Setting goals. So clarity would be goals. And also what type of the way. What is the best way for you to learn? We're not going to talk about it today. I go deeper into that in my program. It's not relevant right now. A lot of you know, you know what I'm. What I want to tell you is that, like I said at the beginning, find what makes something valuable for you, and if it's not, it's probably not the right way for you to learn. Okay? If podcasts are not good for you and you just don't get it, Then, you know, you probably don't need to use podcasts to improve your English. Just make sure that, you know that there are different learners and it's not one size fits all. Right, today we are going to talk about habit formation, and we're going to talk about motivation and setting goals. That's our work for today. After that comes pronunciation. Why pronunciation first? Because we learn pronunciation, and as we learn pronunciation, we get familiar with the pronunciation confidence method. We make it a tactic that is powerful for us. It's super effective when it comes to learning sounds, and then we're able to use it when, when it comes to other elements like thought patterns and vocabulary and grammar. But when we learn pronunciation, we develop clarity, we develop effortlessness, we develop confidence. And of course, if you, you know, if people are just starting out, I would probably not talk about pronunciation first, but I am talking about people who have been using English, you know, who are using English in their daily lives. Then there is the element of prosody. So I wouldn't recommend necessarily learning prosody without building confidence. Learning pronunciation, not because it's less important, but because it's more vague. And because it's more vague, you want to have the confidence and the ability to know how you can control your mouth and your voice. And you also want to be convinced. You want to be convinced that it's possible to change through habit and it's a lot in repetition and to develop a technique that helps you. And as I said, it's a lot easier for it to happen with sounds rather than with proity elements. What's prosody? Intonation, rhythm, stress, the music of the language, tone of voice, everything that is not the pure sounds of the language. Okay, so I wouldn't start my journey focusing on content, words, function words with before, I have built this confidence knowing some of the key sounds and not all sounds of English, but really some of the key sounds that are going to help you sound more clear. Mindset. Okay, so we said prosody, understanding how to use your speech, and then mindset. Why? My mindset, in a way, and this is my, my only thing that I'm going to mention here, mindset is also the foundation of the foundation, right? It's before everything and it's after everything. Mindset. But the way I believe we should approach this is first get technical, see results, trust that it's possible, and again, the technique will make it possible. And then, you know, then you start making shifts in the way you think so you can start opening up your communication abilities. Voice and body. We haven't had a chance to talk about it, but I do have a lot of videos on YouTube that talk about voice and the way we use our breath and the way we use our body. So body is more in my programs. But still, when we communicate in any language, but especially in a second language, the way we use our voice is extremely important. Because a lot of times, because of fear and anxiety, we misuse our voice, we abuse our voice, and we use it in a way that is not optimal. We shove it down, we push it up, we tense it up, we restrain it, we lose it often, right? So understanding what is your optimal voice is key, again, in any language, but especially to. To. To check it, check in with yourself when you're speaking a second language to make sure that you haven't manipulated it because you wanted to sound a certain way or you feel that this is how you're going to get heard or just because of tension and habit. So this comes at the end, like, comes after. I do think that, you know, the process that we talked about up until today is, Is more foundational than voice work. And then when you free yourself up, it's kind of like a higher conversation. You can talk about how you use your voice. And I love the connection between the voice and mindset because I believe that the voice is something that is physical, but it's also metaphorical. And mindset is all about believing that you have a voice and you need to use it and you deserve to use it, and it's your time to use it, so it really does go together. And when you change your mindset and you believe in it, the physical voice changes too. And finally, all the other elements of fluency, once you have built that base, right, and the foundations and your. You have strong habits and you know your why, and you're clear about your goal, and it's a measurable goal. And you've built pronunciation confidence. You already know how to use this technique, and you understand better about how to use the music and language and rhythm of the language. And you have the right mindset and you understand your voice, right? Then everything else becomes a lot easier because you don't have to fight or struggle. It's already there for you, and you can just pick and choose and decide what to do. So, of course, there is, you know, the elements of fluency, the fluency wheel. This is where it all goes into what we talked about in day number one. You know, identifying your needs and also talking about and starting to build your grammar and to Build your vocabulary to improve your listening skills. All of these things are a lot easier when everything else is in place. Okay, I'm going to take. Okay. Ingrid says. Okay, I'm going to. I'm going to take a break, take a sip of water. Okay. Okay. So today we're going to talk about foundations, and then I'm going to come back to this chart and tell you how I can help you more. And I'm going to share with you a gift. So before we start, before you start developing any new skills, you have to set yourself up for success by creating the best circumstances for yourself, which means find your motivation. Set clear goals, create strong learning habits, or habits, if we're talking about anything else that is not English. What keeps you motivated? Now, we're going to do a somewhat short process. We've done longer processes in the past. I want to get through everything. But you know, you already know this. You have already heard. You have to understand what is the reason for why you do what you do to be able to keep going. Now, we also talked about it yesterday. Motivation is not everything. Definitely not everything, but it's something. It's the fuel that keeps you going. I think I have it here. Motivation is the fuel that gives you the energy to do the work you do, right? So when you get discouraged or tired and you remind yourself what it is that you do or why you do what you do, and then you get motivated again. For me, for example, when I need to create content and I'm tired and I'm pissed off and I feel uninspired, and there are a lot of things that are not working, and I get a lot of emails. And then I was like, I don't feel like making a video. You know what I do? I just either go to beyond or go to the comments section on YouTube or to Instagram, not just to scroll, but to interact with people. Because when I interact with people, I get this surge of joy and excitement. Especially when people tell me about their journey or their success or they say something about a video, it's like, oh, my God, this really, really helped me. And I say to myself, this is why that is my. Why it brings me so much joy to see that and to know that if I can turn on light bulbs for people watching my videos, and then this motivates me. And I'm like, okay, f emails, I'm going to go and make a video right now. It doesn't always work. Sometimes I need to have the habit in place. I schedule time. I have to do It. If I don't do it now, there wouldn't be any other time for me to do it, and then I do it anyway. But usually it does help. So you got to create that motivation for you to understand what it is, why you do what you do. Now, here's the thing. Oops, wait. We're going to come back here. Here's a common mistake. And I want you to go a little deeper in the implementation workshop, in the workbook, and in the Facebook group, because I'm going to invite you to share this. So I want you to tell me why you do you want to learn English and what is your motivation? But you guys telling me that you want to be fluent is not your why. It's not. It's a goal, right? It's something to have. And when we talk about goals, you'll see that it's not a tangible goal. But it's not why I want to. Why do you. Why do you want to do this? Why have you signed up? Because I want to be fluent. I want to improve my pronunciation. I want to feel more confident. Yes. Why? So I want you to start telling me here. And if you're not a commenter, I still want you to comment. There are 6 over almost 700 people watching this live. So I want to start seeing all of you who are not participating, writing in the chat. Why it's important for you to reach that level where you feel the freedom, all the things that you. We talked about. I want to expand my career around the world. Great. Get better job opportunities. Why? Right, why? What would that mean for you? Maybe that you would have a more stable life. You will have recognition, you would fulfill yourself. You will have. All your needs are going to be met. The basic needs, you know, having a home, supporting your family. Right? So it's. It's even like. Even to get a job, I would say. Okay, we can go even deeper. Okay. Fatih. No, I want to be fluent. I get it. Sorry. I get. Okay. Better job. Great. So better job is an already more advanced why. But even to get a better job, like if we think about it, right, it's like to. To fulfill myself too. Yeah, exactly. To fulfill myself. To be authentic, to feel that I. I'm doing what I'm meant to do. And of course, to get a better job, that is your goal, right? Maybe it's not your why, but it's your goal. And we're going to talk about that too. Because it's important for my job. I want to express more clear, clearly, and My thoughts could be more clear for those who hear me in conversation. Great. But why? Because, you know, you feel that maybe you deserve to be heard, that your voice is important, that you can make an impact, that you want to leave a legacy behind. And the way to do it is by being there for other people and impacting them. And by impacting, I don't mean that you need to have 100,000 subscribers on Instagram. No, because we impact the people we listen to in the store because they just want to share something. And our children and our parents and our siblings and our friends. Right? That's like the daily, hourly, secondly impact that we make in our lives. There is no such word as secondly. I just invented it. Okay, so. And if we feel limited when we talk to our children or spouses or friends or kids, teachers or bosses or people in the store, or even friends on Facebook, when we feel limited, then we feel like we're not really showing up as ourselves. We're not being authentic in this world. We're not bringing our full self to the conversation. Right. And ultimately we're not leaving this legacy behind us of people knowing us and telling, you know, she was. Now, usually it's our perception of ourselves is different than how other perceive us and sometimes more limited. But at the same time, your experience is what matters here. I want to be a good teacher. Great. You want to be a good teacher to change lives of others, your. Your students. Right. To make an impact that way, To be successful. Right. In Maslow's pyramid of needs, hierarchy of needs. I think no pyramid of needs. There is the last point. You know, there are different needs that we have as human beings and they need to be fulfilled. And one of the needs, the top of the pyramid, even though a lot of people say that it's also a cycle, it's not a pyramid, but one of them is self actualization. Right. Self esteem before that, but also self actualization, self esteem. You want to be respected by others. It's a need. It's a basic human need. And we need that. And English is interconnected to that. Because if we feel that we're not respected by others, even though they might respect us, but if we feel that because we don't respect ourselves, because we haven't, you know, we don't feel fully like ourselves, then, you know, it might affect that we might not feel confident in that. You know, it affects one of our core needs and, you know, self actualizing myself, knowing that I'm. It's possible me for me to do it. Right. I know it's possible and that gap can drive us crazy. I know it's possible. I want to get there. So getting there, even if there is no recognition, even if there would be no one to listen to us or to see it, it's still something that we want to do. I'm always amazed by my students who have no one to speak with at home. People actually make fun of them in their, like their family, friends. They're like, why do you need English? They don't live in an English speaking country. They don't have aspirations to move yet. They are so passionate about doing this work and the way I see it. And you know, when I ask them, they say I want to be fluent. But why? Because they want to self actualize themselves. Because they believe it's part of their life experience to be able to communicate freely like themselves in a second language. So I want you to go a little deeper in the workbook and in the group when we talk about it. Okay? Thank you everyone for sharing. Then we need so we need to find our motivation and to always remind ourselves of that. And then we need to set clear goals. What is a clear goal? Goals. First of all, goals allow you to wait a little. Small goals allow you to measure your progress, right? Because when you set a goal, you're able to look back and to look at the present and to say, oh, okay, yes, I've actually improved. And without goals you might feel like you're not improving where in fact you have. It's just that your brain is not, is so biased, right? You think you're not improving, so you're only seeing the things that you're not improving. This is why we need to set clear goals. You need to celebrate your success. That means when you reach a goal, you celebrate it. Recently we just received an email from one of our students from New Zealand, Anna, and she said, a new sound student. She said, I just wanted to let you know that I've reviewed my goals, my 90 day goal, we do that in our program and I'm so happy to tell you that I've accomplished all of them. And I'm writing this because she was writing this to us to celebrate it with us and we celebrated it with her. So being able to say I did it and yes, there is another goal, there's always something else. It doesn't mean that you've reached the end of the road, but there was always, you need to be able to acknowledge when was the last time you celebrated something about your English? Tell me in the chat. Have you ever celebrated something, an accomplishment, and by celebrating would even be, you know, to write a post and to share it with someone or to go buy yourself something nice? Nope. Okay, what makes a good, good goal? Make it specific. Right. I want to be able to speak for three minutes straight without pausing for more than five times. Very specific. Make it time sensitive. By the end of next week, I want this memorized to this. This monologue to be memorized and to use it confidently in front of other people. Right? Make it time sensitive. So you want to put a deadline. It's not. I want to be fluent and that's it. No, I want to something when. So you can measure it, so you can work through it, so you can plan for it. Make it achievable. Right. So notice what I said. I want to be able to speak for five minutes or three minutes without pausing more than five times. I did not say I want to talk about nuclear warfare for 10 minutes without pausing. And with using 100 new words by next week. Right. Not achievable. You know, it doesn't make any sense. And also, you know, you also want to set goals that are relevant for what you do. Because if you don't usually talk about nuclear warfare in your day to day life, then you might want to wait. Yes, Jelena. Thank you. Hold on, I might have to go fix my battery. Here, let me just finish this thought. You want to make sure that it's relevant to you and your life and what you're trying to achieve. And now I'm going to give you 20 seconds while I go plug in my computer. Something happened and it's not connected. And you'll write in the chat your goals. Make it timely, make it relevant. Right. Achievable. Time sensitive, specific and relevant. Okay, I'll be right back. And thank God I haven't dropped anything here. There's like so many cables here right now, and if I move one of them, everything gets disconnected. Measurable. Okay, your battery is low. Yeah. Yeah, I just did. Thank you, everyone. Realistic. So what are your goals? Yes, I celebrated my team October 25th. Wait, I'll perfect my imitation video. Okay, Joanna, that's a great direction. However. Okay, so we have a date. But perfect is not measurable, right? Because how would you know that you've accomplished it? Because perfect has the word perfect in it, which means flawless, which means not achievable, because there is no such thing as perfect. So maybe try to think of language or of a goal that is more measurable that you'll know that you've achieved it. Okay, so maybe imitation video. You want to do it one once without stopping and, you know, hitting five points. Not everything, but five points. Precisely the same. Maybe you can start with that. Okay, so Jelena on Saturday is going to help you with that a bit more with setting goals in the implementation workshop, and the coaches are going to help you with that in the group. So I'm going to ask you to share in the group after we're done your goal, okay? And try to set a realistic goal. 30 days, 90 days, something like that, something that is coming up, make it relevant, make it achievable, make it clear. Then we want. So we're talking about foundations, right? The foundations. And there we have motivation, we have clarity, which is setting clear goals. And we need to have strong habits. Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. Jim Rohn A habit is a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly, intends to occur subconsciously. By the way, a habit is an action that you take or a thought that you think or decision that you make. Okay? It's not just, you know, playing with your phone or smoking. Smoking cigarettes or opening your computer at 9am every day. New behaviors can become automatic through the process of habit formation. From Wikipedia. Okay, so technically speaking, a habit is something that you repeatedly do automatically without putting thought into it. Tying your shoes, brushing your teeth, making coffee in the morning, how to support good habits. So there is an entire way again in. When I teach the foundations in my program, then obviously we go a little deeper. Understanding and how a habit is formed, the trigger and then the routine and then the reward, and all of that, I will link to additional resources and we will put them next to this training so you can educate yourself more if you want to learn more about habits. But here are a few tips. One is start small. So like I said, I don't love it when my students tell me, yes, I practice six hours every day because I know it's not sustainable. And I also know that the brain has a certain capacity, but until a certain point, it just, it just shuts down and you're not really perceiving or integrating the content that you learn, right? And then what's the point of spending all this time, right, if you can't, you know, if you're, if you're not going to be able to remember it. So start small. And even I'm going to come back here, put a, an upper threshold, okay? That means that no more than, rather than a minimum of focus on the first step. So a lot of times it's really hard to get yourself into the habit. So focus on the first step. For example, plan your practice, right? Just think of planning your practice or the day before. Just prepare the documents that you want to work with or the script or whatever that is, or just write the plan or even just put it in the schedule. But focus on the first step. It's like they say that if you want to start running every single day, don't think of the run, think of just putting your shoes on, right? And then once your shoes are on, the next thing you need to think about. It's just like getting yourself out the door. The way for you to start running after being out the door with your sneakers on is a lot closer than when you're in bed thinking about running. So focus on the first step and create a habit streak. There are a lot of. It's really important to see this reward of you doing something repeatedly. So use an accountability partner or use groups to show up and, and, and to get support and to held account to be held accountable. And you can use apps, I think there is an app called Streaks or any other apps that help you build habits where you just mark the days where you do the work. You can just put a calendar on the wall and cross out a day where you practice and you create a streak that you don't want to stop. Right? And that gets you going. It's silly enough, but we are very, you know, we're very competitive with ourselves and if we say that we're going to do something and we see that. I have one of my students, he's also following me on Insta, on, on YouTube and he loves my daily practice pronunciation practice video. And he used to do it every single day. And every day he would write the day and he reached, I think 200 days in a row. He created a streak. And then for a while I didn't see his comments. He came back and he said, you know, gotta keep the habit, gotta keep the practice. And he started from day one. So he was up to 200. And then he started from day one because he felt that it would, you know, he stopped, he ruined the streak and then he needs to start over. But it kept him going and now it keeps him going because he has this new goal to, you know, to do the work and the secret. James Clear says that the secret to keeping a habit is never lose a day twice or never miss a day twice. So for example, if you decide to do something related to English every Single day. Even if it's just attentive listening, right? Close listening, you're listening to someone and you're just analyzing sounds or words, or you're collecting words into your list so it doesn't have to be big. But let's say you skip today, the next day. Make sure that you don't, because once you skip two days, it's really hard to get back when once you skip a day and you come back, it's a lot easier. So try not to miss two days in a row and design your environment. Make sure that you create a safe space for you to practice. If you get. If you have a lot of distractions in a certain, you know, at home, or for example, if you work and when you put your phone next to you and your phone is distracting you because you keep going into it, then put it on the side and come back and do the work. If there are people around you who might talk to you while you practice and it distracts you, then make sure you're doing it when you're alone. Create a safe environment that will allow you to thrive and not to fail. Set yourself up for success. Create the right circumstances for you. As you can see, my friends, there is a better way. There is a way, A new way to fluency, to move from this old way of fluency to new way of fluency. There is a better way. I promised that at the beginning. What if I told you and now I showed you that if you work strategically, and I'm now just inventing it, this is something that has been proven by so many of my students. So we've seen it work time and time again. And we have, you know, taking out a lot of elements that were no longer helpful, even though for some people it was important or, you know, they thought it's important. But when we don't see results, we, you know, it's important to decide really quickly what's right and what's not. So there is a better way. And like I said, foundations. Once you have the foundations in place, habit, motivation, clarity, goal, right. Then you can start working on your pronunciation to create this freedom and confidence in how you communicate. It's the execution of the language. And I've taught you how to use. How to identify your. Your pronunciation needs and how to use the pronunciation confidence technique while learning sounds. Not to sound like a native speaker, but to be. To have the freedom to use the language the way it's meant to be used, to optimize it, to be clear. Right? And then prosody to deliver a message, to find a way to use your voice to be more expressive and to touch people and to persuade people and to make an impact. On top of all that, as I said, to constantly change your perspective and make those shifts so that you can again find joy in your practice and step into a growth mindset that would help you thrive and understand your body, understand your voice and understand it's a part of the work. You already know what it takes to create a successful roadmap. Outline a clear path that will get you results like the one that we did here. Zero overwhelm. And again, like a lot of it is in your workbook, especially prioritizing your needs. Create strong foundations. Use the right method. Wait, let me make it bigger. Use the right method to improve pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary. I recommend the pronunciation confidence method, repetition, perception, prioritizing, all of that. Prioritize your speech needs. Prioritize your fluency needs. Right, the fluency wheel. Use your voice and body in the most optimal and expressive way. Get comfortable with your body. Do work. People are born knowing how to use their voice and that's it. That's where it stops. No one talks about how to optimize your voice and how to understand things that might be harmful for your voice. Unless you pay someone a lot of money for speech therapy until it's too late. Usually that's when we start talking about the voice. Reach limitless fluency with the right strategy. Listen, you are here right now and I want to tell you this. You, at this point in time, no matter how many years you've been working on your English, you have a choice. Option one is you're okay with where you are now, right? You keep doing what you're doing, you keep doing the work and that is okay. That's option one. Or you can choose option two. You are 100% committed and in integrity with what you say you're going to do to making a change this year, right? Even this year, before the end of December, with a proven roadmap, what would you choose? Which one will you choose? One, you're okay with where you are right now. And if you were, you know, the reason that you're here makes me feel that you are. You believe that there isn't a better way. And option two, you are 100% committed to making a change this year with a proven roadmap. The roadmap that you have, the roadmap that you already have access to. Let me know. Number two. Okay, so there are six, over 600 people in this chat so I'm only seeing 100 people saying number two. Yes. I don't see any ones here. All of you make a commitment. You know why? Because when you write it down, even if it's just a number, it's an implementation intention you are more likely to do when you write, to do something, when you write it down, when you make that commitment, especially when you make that commitment publicly. I'm committed to improve my English. Amazing. Good. Good. Okay. Now, while I hope that what I have shared with you throughout those four days, and we still have tomorrow and we have Sunday, but up until now, I've laid out the entire roadmap that you can take and use and start running with it. Right. While you have everything that you need to put it into practice. Would you like to know how I can help you? Me and my team can help you with that even more. If you feel that you need guidance, if you feel that you need support, if you feel that you need the actual how, the actual steps inside each of those elements, I need a big transformation. Yes. So let me introduce you to New Sound. New Sound is basically the only program for new speakers of English that focuses on everything you really need to own your English and to be heard. Now here is why I think it's super effective, because the. What I have laid out, the roadmap, is basically how the course is structured. I've structured the course based on the roadmap that I've discovered over years and years of research and work with my students. So as you can see, the foundation is foundational. And this is module number one, if you want like. And then we apply the pronunciation confidence method that you learn in module number one by learning the 20% of the sounds in English. Now, of course, different speakers have different need, but there are some pronunciation elements that are relevant for almost all speakers of English as a second language. And then we go deep into understanding prosody. It's the deep that I've ever gone in any one of my programs. And it's designed to get you to understand all the elements of prosody and understand how to put it into practice. And then we go deep an entire module taking what we've learned in day three and going through it an entire week with eight different lessons that are designed to talk about different elements, helping you reach a real transformation. And here's the thing. After all of the things that you will have accomplished by that point, it would be a lot easier for you to start doing this work. And then voice and body work, an entire module about how to use your voice, how to find your expressive voice, how the voice works, how to use your breath. And limitless fluency is module number 10. It's really how to take everything to the next level to use this method, to put it into practice, to improve grammar, listening, vocabulary, body language goes into limitless fluency, even though it's part of the previous level. So all of that together and then an outline of how you can continue with that together. There is a lot more that I'm not going to go into. But as you can see, the entire program is designed and based on this roadmap though a you can take it and do it on your own and we've given you all the tools. But a lot of times we need accountability. We need people to support us, we need the structure because we don't have time to do the work and to find the resources and all of that. And remember that I have a gift for you that might help you make a decision whether or not this is for for you. But you know that sometimes to make a commitment and like I said, sometimes to just to make it a priority is what we need to do to finally see results and not to keep on doing the same thing. If you keep on doing the same thing that you've always done, how do you expect different results? This is something that has led me in my life and in my business. And every time I was, you know, right before making a big change or a big step, I knew that I had to change how I approached it up until that moment. Because if I want to see different results, I need to do different things than what I've been doing right now. Okay? Because doing the same old thing is not going to change the end result. Now. New Sound is now closed doors are going to open and October 21st, that is going to be one week from today. And by the way, tomorrow you're going to hear from New Sound students not about the program, but about their own personal transformation and what has helped them. So that is going to help you see that this is something that is possible for you too, because they were exactly where you are right now. In the meantime, I have a surprise for you. I've never done it ever before. And this is the first time that we are doing this. We are giving you a sneak peek into New Sound. Yes, you heard me. We're giving you an opportunity to take a look inside the program. It's limited time. You only have access. And again, right now we're only publishing it for the people in the Live so you get the most time to dive through the content there. It's not full access. We're sharing with you a few key lessons. Some of our favorite lessons. We sat down as a team and it was really hard for us to choose what lessons we're going to let you watch. But we decided that we're going to give you a taste of everything that we have so you have a better idea. One, so first of all that you can get value out of these lessons. Two, that you can see the entire structure of the course and see all the different components that go into it. Because what I've been trying to tell you here, whether you continue with us or not, okay, that's your choice and it's your decision to make. And I've given you all the tools that you need. But I also know that if you see the outline, you'll know everything that it takes, right? And what you need to put in to see the results. So there is no disappointment of why it's not happening to me because maybe it's not the only way to reach this limitless fluency. But from my experience, and like I said, I've worked with thousands and thousands of students, I've seen that this is the one thing that actually works. And new sound students, if you are here, let me, you can, you can tell them in the chat, Lucia, I saw that you're here so you can tell them yourself. You know I love the program and you will hear from them tomorrow. So you get a sneak peek. And in the sneak peek, this is what you're going to get except for the outline that will help you focus on. On what are the elements that need to go into your fluency journey. You will also get access to a full lesson of the th, which means the lesson itself, full HD from different angles. A self analysis speech method. So I'm going to be sharing with you the speech analysis that help our students. A practice, practice exercise. So words, phrases and sentences. The drills that I create to build pronunciation, confidence. Audio and the PDF sheet and a practice guide. You're going to learn how to use your pitch to sound expressive. So there's a video about the pitch and how to use the pitch. It's a lot of fun. Make sure you do it in closed doors because people are going to think that you're weird or that you've decided to take up singing. Fun dialogue analysis to learn intonation. Wait, let me make it bigger. Building strong learning and speaking habits. So we're going to talk more about habits there. Overcoming Obstacles and stepping into the right mindset. A lesson from the Mindset module, from the Foundations module, and even more. At the beginning of each module, there is a module preview so we can get a better understanding as to what it is. I want to give this to you, first of all, as a gift for being here and for showing up and for making that commitment for yourself this week. I know it's a lot and I want to tell you that I appreciate you. So first of all, I want you to have that as a gift. I want you to have that outline and roadmap and to see how we put it into practice. And also if you are considering continuing with us and allowing us to support you on this journey, I want you to see what it's like and what to expect and to for it to help you to make a right decision if it's for you or not. You're probably wondering, you know, how long, what's the price and all of that. We're gonna reveal and share all of that when we open doors on October 21st. Until then, I want you to just go and experience it. There is also an app that you can download. I want you to go and experience it and use this entire week to go through all of these lessons. So you can click. I'm sure that the team is already here sharing the link. Right. Thank you, everyone, for simply being here. I really, really appreciate you and I want you to know that you inspire me to do what I do and to see that commitment and that rush of motivation in you like today is what helps all of us to do better work as coaches and as a team and as a company. Okay. Is the new sound same as accent makeover? No, it's a completely different program. And accent makeover used. I used. We used to focus more on pronunciation and a limited. A somewhat. A different way of teaching prosody. And new sound is a more developed way of teaching prosody. And there's all. There are all these other elements like foundations, mindset and voice and overall fluency and a lot more resources that go into it than accent makeover. So if you are an accent makeover student. Accent makeover, we have, you know, over around 1500 students of accent makeover. That. That's our program before news sound. If you're an accent makeover student, then. No, it's a. It's a completely different program. Okay, so the link here, it's already shared in the Facebook group, on YouTube and on the website. I can't see the link. I'm also Going to share it in the group itself right after. And I will send an email to the event members tomorrow morning with a link. But you know, just check the. Check the chat and click the link. You know, just scroll through. Let me see if I can. Wait, let. So can you see? This is it. Hadar shemish.com forward/newsound- Sneak Peek. You can just go directly if you can't click the link. This is it. Hadarchemish.com is the same, you know, domain of as the event. Forward slash, new sound, one word. Sneak peek. Sneak has ea peak has ee same sound, high E. Always a good opportunity to talk about here. This is my face here. It's always a good opportunity to talk about pronunciation. Okay. Renee says option two. I love it. It's like, wait a minute. I thought about it up until now. It took me some time, but I realized that it's option two. I love it. I'll see you in the sneak peek. Okay, you guys. So you have full access. Of course. It doesn't mean that you're done with the English Fluency Festival because we have. I think we already have the grammar workshop, but we have a lot. We have a conversation group with Karen. We have another implementation workshop coming up. We have a vocabulary implementation workshop with Christina on Friday. We have two coaching sessions with me, by the way, the coaching session is going to be the same format as we do in new sound. We have two coaching sessions like that a week where everyone joins and you sign up for a hot seat and I work with you individually or one of the other coaches, Christina or Jelena. The great. That's their last name. The great. So we're all. And in addition to that, we have practice groups like we do here. Here, and we're going to have conversation groups. So a lot of the things that you've experienced here in the festival are actually things that we've tried and, you know, crystallized in our programs. So this is something that is going to be available for you when you join New Sound for about three months. Hot seats. On Sunday, we added another one. So we have one in my morning, one in one my evening so we can reach more people around the world. Okay, I already sent my email. Good, Maria. So once you sign up, let me tell you how it's going to work out. Once you put your name and email, you're gonna get an email from me that says, yay, welcome to the sneak peek. And then you will have a link to the platform. The username is your email. And then the password will be sent to you through the the app. Okay. There is. The app is called Kajabi. The. The platform is called Kajabi. So you should be receiving an email from there. If something is not working, ask us in the Facebook group or in@support.acents way or Support at Accentsway or Hadar Shamish. I forget our emails. Okay, so I think. Wait. I wanted to say one more thing before we go into Q and A. You guys, can I get a some appreciation here for the fact that it's the fourth day in a row that I'm practically done with my core content at. On the right. At the right time. Right after an hour and a half. This is rare because I usually speak a lot, but I'm paying closer, I'm paying more attention. If I want, I'm able to do it. I promise that the coaching sessions are not going to be that long. I respect your time. Okay. What happened here? How come it's not working anymore? I think. Wait, we're not done. We're not done. This has stopped working for a sec. I'm going to connect it again and we are going to collect 180 people already joined, which is incredible. But since we have over 600 people, it just means that not all of you join. So either you're not listening to the live and it's just open or you're not taking action and doing something that would actually give you a lot of value. So I really encourage you to sign up for the sneak peek. Hadar shemesh.com. okay. Let me just connect and talk about what we. What we should expect. Where is the link? I can't access the page. Okay. So just don't worry because after that we're going to be in the group and I'm going to send you an email with all the information if you missed it, don't freak out. We will be here to support you. And I'm going to still answer questions for 30 minutes and my entire team, Amar and Jelena and Vika and Sergey and Karen, they're all here and they're going to support you. So all questions are going to be answered. Okay, good. Let me. What happened? Let me connect again. My other computer. I don't know what happened. There it is. Unmute and let me share the screen. In the meantime, you can sign up for the sneak peek. Hi, E. Hi, E. Good. Here we go. Just checking. Noel. Yeah. Yay. You're in. Cool. Now we have took out some elements. There is like an entire introduction module and entire video Module. So there are a lot of things that are not there, but you can see most of the platform. Okay. But just so you know that when you join New Sound, you have even more things, especially at the beginning, because we help you understand how to create, how to set the right goals and what to expect and how to operate within this program. Everything is super clear. We have excellent support system. You can actually submit videos with questions or audios with questions. We our entirety. Like the whole idea is to help you get what you want. We have a Facebook group, mentors there. We have an option for you to join small groups. It's called the podcast. So I'm not gonna talk too much about New Sound if for those of you who would be interested in understanding how the entire program works and not just the outline, because there's a lot more than what I've just shared with you and even more than what's in the platform. Next week I'm gonna go live and just talk about the program. Okay. I'm so happy that you like this. Good. So next up, remember that tomorrow's prize is the Sprint Master 2.0. And if you want to get in the raffle, then you know what to do. Right. I'm gonna leave it here. I feel tired saying it, but just share a story on Instagram. Tag me. Hashtag Fluency Fest Festival. Short for festival that her name in Hebrew means orange. It's true. So my first name means citrus, not necessarily orange. Orange is tapuz, but citrus, like a citrus fruit, Lemon. So sometimes I'm lemon, sometimes I'm orange, sometimes I'm tangerine. But it also means splendor. And I always say it really depends on the day. My last name is Shemesh. It's an Iraqi Jewish name. My dad was born in Iraq. It's my dad's name. I'm going to keep that name. Even though I have a partner, he has a different last name. I'm going to keep my last Iraqi name, Shemesh, and it means son. So that's my name. Tomorrow we're going to hear success stories from our incredible students. And I can't wait for you to hear their stories, understand their breakthroughs, and most importantly, what they're going to talk about is the barriers and the struggles that they've come across on this journey and how they were able to persist through. Because, you know, I always remember that the things that inspire me the most are really the things like seeing real stories and real situations, how people over came, you know, hardships and challenges and barriers And I think this is how we get past and this is why really we're doing this together. The English Fluency Festival is not something that I just share. And you're not alone. Like, you're connecting here in the chat. You're connecting in the Facebook group. Right. And this group is going to be open along with all the content until the end of the month so we can establish these friendships and community. So you remember that you don't have to do it alone. And it's so much more fun to do it with other people. And we inspire each other. And how do you celebrate your success? By sharing it with others. And this is what our members are going to do. They're going to share their success. So you can share your success too. It gives you permission to also say, I can do it, I will do it. And then find yourself actually doing it. That's it. Questions? We don't have a lot of questions. What about the Q and A form? Do we have any questions in the Q and A form? 250. They tell me in my earpiece, in control. Natasha tells me it's an inside joke for beyonders. Natasha just told me that 250 people joined. Amazing. Okay, We have Vince. Vince, like he has you're. I love your questions, Vince. So we have one question from Vince. Questions about the roadmap, about anything that we talked about in the past. And also about the sneak peek. If you have, let me know. Good. So Vin says a goal without a plan is just a wish. I'm with this and have gotten in conflict with people who practice manifesting. Do you have any tips? Great question. So I'm definitely into manifestation. Right. So I think manifestation is a great way to live life and also to achieve the things that you want to achieve. But I don't believe that manifesting is just. And most people who really believe in manifesting, the real manifesters, they don't say, sit on the couch and just imagine the money coming into your bank. And that's it. Manifestation is about. It's like the model that I talked about the be do have. When you believe, you know, when you. First of all, you have to be very clear and specific about what you want. You can't say, I want to be rich or I want to be fluent. You got to be very, very specific. And then the idea of manifesting is to really get into the stage or state where you feel like you already have it. This is your present operate as if you've already achieved it. And that's pretty much like the be do have model. Now, it doesn't mean that. Just feel it and it will come. No, you feel it and then you take action as if you already have it. Right, Exactly. Like I said yesterday, the be do have, like, okay, I want to be a public speaker. What would a public speaker be? What if I, I would get myself to feel like I'm already a public speaker, getting all the speaking gigs in the world, how would that person operate? And when you're in that state, when someone says, hey, do you want to speak in our company? Or hey, do you want to speak in front of the team? Or hey, here's a topic to post a video in the free Facebook group the Influencing community, right? A person who feels, honestly, truly, because they've been manifesting it, that they're, you know, this is, this is the reality that they want to create, they wouldn't say no because if they operate from, or at least they would be like, okay, if this is what, where I want to be, that's what I need to do. So you operate from a state of where you want to be, right? Mentally, emotionally. So the emotions that you have are not emotions of, oh, I'm not good enough. Oh, it's not possible for me. Oh, it's not going to work. Oh, I'm going to suck. No, I'm going to be great. Right? And that is, I think, what is good about manifesting. And it's not just this woo woo thing. It really is about putting yourself in a certain state and operating from that state. And that would get you the right results. Who is the person that you want to be? What would that person do? Do those things and then have the things that you actually want to have. And most manifestors will tell you that. They won't tell you, no, no, just sit and imagine. It's like, make a goal, right? But and especially with something like language learning, right? Maybe the manifestation should be, I have created strong habits, right? Not I'm speaking English just because I'm pretending, but I'm a person who has strong, powerful learning and speaking habits. And that's why I see the results that I hope to have. The Sprint Master 2.0 is just a different version of the Sprint. It's 30 for those who have the Sprint. It's the same 30 different sprints. Sprints are 10 minute daily exercises based on the pronunciation confidence method. You have access to the sprints, you know what they are where you boost your fluency by improving and boosting your pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. Okay, so 30 different sprints. And you have lifetime access for that. I have a question about replays. Your site has replays of core training and other materials. Will these materials remain or disappear after the festival? Not right after the festival, but we will take everything down until the end of the month. One is because this is a gift for the fluency community, the fluency festival community also, when you have a deadline, you will go through it. If it's going to be open forever, then a lot of times people are not. Are just not going to put the work. So deadline is important and creating urgency is important. And this is why we're going to limit it. Every year we do these festivals, we do other events, but. Yes, but you have until, I think the 25th of October. I'm going to write down in the group the exact time when we close doors. No, maybe a bit more. Maybe the 28th. Okay. I still have to write down everything I say before speaking. Is this normal? Luana, it's normal because it's happening to you. So if this is where you're at, it's normal. Normal is subjective and your normal is that you have to write down. However, I have two questions for you. One, normal is also habit. You're used to it. Therefore, that's your reality and that's all you know. Two, maybe there is a limiting belief underlying there that. An underlying limiting belief that says unless I write what I have to say, you know, I won't be able to speak. So maybe that is what's holding you back in, preventing you from actually taking that step in speaking freely. Because, listen, obviously you want to reach a place where you don't have to write what you have to speak, right? And to be able to be in that state, you have to do more of that. If you want to get better at something, you need to do more of that thing. What you're doing right now is not helping. You speak without crutches, right? It's like walking with crutches. You gotta. If you want to be able to walk without, you have to practice walking without. So what I would recommend for you to do is to simply start incorporating those situations where you speak more without preparing and without writing in advance. Okay? So do it step by step. Create small, small, small steps first. Create those habits. Start small, be consistent, Use this community, right? And that's how you can start changing, shifting from this habit to another habit. Khadija says I have a bad memory. How can I overcome this problem? So, Khadija, I want to go a little deeper. Bad memory, you can't remember childhood, childhood friends or your family and friends. Or maybe it's just that you feel like you can't remember words. Specificity is important, okay? Bad memory is so general. It makes us feel shitty about ourselves when we think that. And then that thought leads to our reality because, oh, you have a bad memory. You're not even going to try hard to remember or to work on it because you think it's not going to worth it. Now if you're talking about remembering words, I would say go back to day two and learn our pronunciation confidence method to build your vocabulary because that could help. Could be that you're not remembering words because you're not putting it into practice. No implementation. And also I would avoid making those statements because really this is the structure of a limiting belief. I have bad memory. It sounds like a fact. But again, do you remember what you ate for breakfast? If so, you don't have a bad memory, right? You simply focus on other things. Plus there are so many things that go through our head day in and day out. We filter out a lot of information. Sometimes we just don't focus on all of the things. So that's what I would recommend for you to do. Can you tell me, Nguyen is asking, can you tell me how can I improve my writing skills and my active vocabulary? So active vocabulary, like I said, we have a system outlined in day number two. So download the workbook of day number two and watch the training. I also have there a link to a video about how to improve active vocabulary. So that would really help you understand that how to improve your writing skills. You want to get better at something, do more of that something. So my recommendation would be simply start by writing a lot more. Write a lot more every day. Start by journaling every day, right? When you, when you write more, you learn how to express yourself more freely. You learn how to pay attention to things. Now there are a few tools and by the way, for those who join first New sound when we open doors, we do offer a writing workshop with a lot more tips than what I'm sharing with you right now. Because writing is also something that I had to can like teach myself how to do confidently. There's like this writing fluency, so remember that. And there are two tools that I want to recommend. One is called Word Tune. Word Tune, let me write it down for you. I love it. It's free and paid but the free version is awesome and it's here Word two and it is an AI based writing assistant. So whatever you write, you select it and it gives you a few options on how to say it. And sometimes it can show you like a more formal way, an informal way. So I think it's really cool and really helpful. And it's always spot on. It's not like random. Like Grammarly for example, is great, but Grammarly fixes just grammar and it doesn't understand the entire thought that you're trying to convey. And wordtune is a lot better at that because it's AI based and it is based on, you know, billions of texts that people have written in the past. The second that I want to Recommend would be 750 words. If you want to improve your writing. 750 words, it's a website where you can, where you create a habit streak. So if you 750words.com, just type it in on Google, Google this and you will find it. So it's a website that you know that saves your text and every day you are committed to writing 750 words and it's community based and, and you're building this writing streak and once you, you reach 750 words, you're done. And if you want to improve your writing, writing every day, 750 words is a great way if you want to become a writer. People use it for writing too. So in new sound. Is new sound going to help me with writing? No, we don't focus on writing. Like I said, we have a writing workshop. We have tools to teach you how to create a strategy for yourself to improve your writing. We have coaches that can help with that. You're invited to share texts, but we don't give feedback. But you're invited to use the community to share your things. But we don't teach writing. We are all about free, fluent communication. And since writing, you know, for writing you have so many tools and you have the time to think about it, it's a little less demanding. I think that free communication is more demanding and when you improve in that, of course you're going to improve your writing. But improving your writing doesn't mean that you're going to improve your speaking is new sound for beginners. So Zria, I recommend that you go into the sneak peek and you test it out and see if first of all you understand my videos. Because if you understand, then yes, it's for you. If you don't understand my videos, it's probably not for you because it's going to be more complicated. We do have captions, but they're not automatic like some of them are automatic. Captions. So if you struggle with understanding me in the videos, in the sneak peek, then probably it's not right. But if you stuck up until now and you've listened to me and you've Understood, let's say 70% of what I said, then yes, this, this is for you. And it's going to. Because it's not teaching a certain grammar rule or it doesn't require. I don't believe in levels, so I don't believe that only as a begin, you know, only advanced people or intermediate speakers can come. Because I require certain background or certain knowledge. Right? You need to know these tenses to be able to learn the next. No, that's not how I work. I work a lot deeper and all about strategy and building pronunciation confidence and getting the right tools to achieve anything you want, right. And improve in any area that you want. So this is why we don't do it. So as a beginner, you will be able to consume and get all the tools as long as you understand my videos. Again, I think that is the only ground rule. If you can't understand at all, let's say 60% and under, then maybe not. But if you can understand it even in the converse, like, the only thing that might be a challenge for you are conversation groups. But I also really encourage people to put themselves in situations that might be a little demanding because the program like this festival is designed to take you from where you are now and move you closer to where you want to be. Okay? So if you believe this is possible and you're committed, then there is a place for you. Vi Do I desperately want to learn how to lower my voice from my throat to my chest when I'm speaking? Are there any tricks or methods you adopted before? Vidu? Yes. You asked me about this and I think, first of all, take singing lessons, okay? And if you can't take it with a real person and with a real coach, then there are a lot of videos for singers. Now you might say, hey, I'm not a singer, but the voice is an instrument. And our speaking voice is not very different from our singing voice. And when we improve our singing voice, it's like the reading and speaking, right? Then of course it's going to affect your. Your speaking voice. So I would actually recommend for you to explore some of the amazing. Really? When I did this research, research for the voice module, I've came across. I've come across so many incredible vocal teachers, like singing teachers, with so many strategies and techniques and exercises. So I would recommend that you can start building habits around doing these exercises. Definitely work on your breath. Okay. So focus on belly breathing. That creates less tension and make sure that you constantly pay attention to what's happening in your throat so that you can free up the tension here. Right. So that. Because when it's in the throat, when the sound is in the throat. Plus I'm not sure that your voice is only in the throat. I have no doubt that it's here as well. But when it's in the throat, a lot of times it's because we're straining the muscles here and we're holding it. Right. So you need to have a lot of relaxations and sometimes imagining practicing, yawning. Ah, right. And doing that. And all these exercises can really help. But again, since we don't have a lot of time for me to demonstrate, I have a video with my most. My favorite favorite voice exercises. So it's. I linked it there and I would recommend to do some research. Find the people that you love and work on that. But generally speaking, just so you know, when you speak and when you, you know, when my mic is here, here, so you're going to hear it. But when we make a sound, remember the like breath, right. And we release a sound. And then the voice resonates wherever it's used to resonate. And the sound bounces. It resonates in a place with air, but the sound bounces in the bones. And sometimes when you start tapping those bones, we help them vibrate more, especially in the place that we want to vibrate. Like the chest. Right. And it reminds me to bring the sound to my chest. All the, you know, the ribs, Chest bone. Okay. So this is a really good exercise. But again, focus on belly breathing. Is this course for people whose English isn't their first language. It is designed for people who's. Whose language is not English. It's designed for people who speak English as a second language. Okay. Definitely for new speakers. Just for new speakers. Even though I have native speakers who have taken my course. But that's because they wanted their teachers and they're learning different methods and different techniques, and I love that. But it's designed for new speakers of English. Essay is asking. I have a question about specification. Okay. Sometimes we don't know where we are going to arrive. We want to achieve that goal, but we don't know the final destination yet. How do you find yourself in the process? Great question. So, you know, when I think of goals that I want to set, if I want to accomplish something in my life, let's say my business, right? And our company and the way we help our students. So the way I do it as first of all, I create an immediate goal, right? Which is what I want to achieve in 30 days or in 90 days, right? So this is my goal for the next 90 days. Then I have a goal for the entire year where I want to be one year from today. But I also have my big goal that is where I want to be five years from today. Now it doesn't mean that that's where I'm going to get. And also it doesn't mean that in three months it's still going to be where I want to get. We need to revise our long term goals every few months or every now and then they can change. They change because we change, they change because we achieve things. And then we can decide, no, I want something bigger for myself or I want something different for myself. When you make a decision where to go, it's like when you're in the car, right? So you could be in the car, just driving, not getting anywhere, right? Like just driving and driving and driving and driving, thinking like you're no, I'm on my way somewhere. But you're like, you don't have a destination. But then you can say, okay, I have a gps, I'm going to put a destination there. Now you can put the destination and you might be driving and driving and driving and either you would reach that destination or at some, or you would reach that destination and say, okay, great, and now, now that I've been here for a little bit, I want to go somewhere else and put another destination and still go there. And as you're going, you might stop on the side and check out the place and hang out with the people and go sideways and go see the forest, right? And travel around, but you still go back and put the GPS and get to that next goal. And sometimes you might stop in the, you know, in the woods and say, you know what, I actually don't want to go there, I want to go somewhere else. I want to go to India, right? And then you put that in your gps. Would be hard to drive to India from Europe, for example, but there are ways to do it. But that's the idea. It doesn't mean that you're committed, you're not, you don't owe anything to nobody. But it's so much better to have a goal, to reach somewhere, to feel accomplished, to change direction, to go a little further than to just drive without feeling progress. Because you don't know when you're getting anywhere. Okay, I'm a better driver. Great. I'm driving more, so I'm a better driver. I pay attention. Maybe I'm tired. I'm still driving. But having those goals is key. Okay. And this is why we want specificity, no commitment. Do we need Facebook for the new course? There is a Facebook group, but you don't need it. Everything that you need is in the platform. And there is a way to interact with our coaches that doesn't require Facebook. So if you don't have Facebook, you don't have to have Facebook. Most all of our sessions are on zoom. All the live sessions. When I do go live every now and then in the group, then we upload it to the platform. Is the sneak peek free? Yes, absolutely. It's a gift. So go sign up, get it for free. If it wasn't clear. Oh, clarify it. Ismaelba from Beyond, I'm in the US for some times, for some time. It's very difficult to be able to enjoy the conversation group. So my question is in new sound, going to have more conversation options? Yes. Since in beyond we have it's hosted by the members and, you know, a lot of the members, they have their own time zone. So for people who don't have a lot of opportunities in beyond, first of all, I'm taking care of you because you're in beyond, then you can create your own space speaking, your own conversation group. And we're adding more now in new Sound. Yes, we do have, we do have more members. Our mentors host the conversation groups, and we will have a lot more opportunities for people in the US to join in the evening conversation groups. So the answer is yes. On the website there is a button that says replays. You click on replace, you'll see today's broadcast. And there is a button Download the workbook so you can download this workbook. Okay? Okay. Someone was asking about the hot seats. I Think it's Amar answering here. We will send a form where the session starts and a few people will be selected to work with Hadar so you can apply to work with me. And then we randomly choose a few people and then we unmute you and you get to work with us. Paula is in. So it's working. Let's see. Yelena, how many people joined already? Now if you have, here's what I want you to do in the group One, share with us your goals. Okay? Let's try to keep them. We're going to, we're going to make them short term goals, right? Like 90 day goals. Specific, achievable, relevant, timely. Okay? So you're going to share those in the group and if you started the sneak peek and you're learning something new, make a video and teach others what it is that you've learned in one of the foundation lessons. In module number one, I talk about high performance practice. You don't have access to it only if you join no sound. But something about high performance practice is, you know, what can you do to elevate your practice so you're not doing the same thing? How can you improve like 1% every single time you practice so you can have massive results at the end? And one of the ways that I share there is to be able to teach others or to start teaching others. Because when you do that, you really optimize the knowledge that you've acquired and you simplify it for yourself so that it's going to be simple for other people. And that is incredible. Sweet peak. Sweet peak Sneak peek looks amazing. Just going to put it here just so for those of you who haven't signed up just yet. The sneak peek is amazing. The program is amazing. And we would be honored if you decide to, you know, sign up for the sneak peek and see what we're up to or and of course, if you decide to join us afterwards, doors open on October 21st and like I said, we will do a separate live talking about everything the the program has to offer when we open doors. Until then, enjoy the content that we share. Okay? And you can see I love everything in new sound. We have a new sounder here, High performance practice. Okay, my friends, Katerina says teaching somebody is the greatest way ever. So I want to, I want to give a shout out to Katerina, who is a new sound member. You're going to meet her tomorrow in the success story. So she's going to tell your story. But wait, I have to celebrate her because the other day I Think it was the day before yesterday. She spoke in front of 50 people, and she gave an incredible presentation in English. And she felt very accomplished. Accomplished and successful. And Ekaterina is someone that has started at the beginning with a lot of internal challenges and, you know, feeling of this is not. She is not where she wants to be. And here, you know, what is it? Four months after, five months after. And you've achieved this amazing milestone. So I want to congratulate you. I'm deeply moved by your progress. And he's been one of the most consistent students I've ever seen. So congratulations, and we'll get to celebrate you even more tomorrow. And Lucia says new sound was the best thing that happened to me. Okay, so, any other questions? Let's see. 406 people joined. Amazing. I'm so honored and privilege to share this with you and the team as well. And don't. Don't we have, like the most incredible team here? Can we give them a round of applause? Jelena, who helps organize, and Vika and Sergey and Amar, who are behind the scenes. And Karen, who supports you, and Daniel and Avi and Christina, who's doing a phenomenal job teaching. And Gil, who is my husband, and he's doing all the work on the websites and everything. So I want to say thank you right now. I hope I haven't forgotten anyone. Helena. I hope I haven't. So. And Barcelona, who. Who is doing the grammar workshop, and she's incredible. So thank you, everyone. And of course, the rest of our coaches and the team who are not participating in the festival, but they're doing an incredible job behind the scenes. So I'm excited that you get to meet all of them. All right, my friends, we're going to wrap it up. If you have any other questions, I want to linger a little bit more so the team can help you, but they are going to stay in the comments below the video. So once you're done, Sergey as well. I said Sergey. Sergey. And Vika did not forget Sergey. Good. So, okay, maybe I haven't said Sergey, but in my mind, in my mind I mentioned Sergey. My, my, my rock. Sergey is the rock. The rock. The foundation. Like the foundation of the ever. So Sergey. That's him. Okay. And it's an interesting story because Sergey used to be my student too. He was actually a Fluency Challenge member. And he. I remember him showing up to make videos. And at first he was very hesitant. And of course, he wasn't anywhere near where he is today. You know, Super. You know, now he's a leader not only in our company, but also in our communities. But when he just started out, he was really, you know, building his confidence and his English skills with video. And now this is what he's doing and he's really helping so many other people reach their dreams and their goals in English. So just so you like, this is the thing about English, it really opens doors, right? It really opens doors to do for you, to do things that you're passionate about, to work in places that you know are not obvious and I think and to self actualize yourself. And even within our company, you know, he started doing one thing and then gradually he learned. Now he's helping us all with all the videos and he's done like doing all the edits and the. Everything related to production has to go through him and he notices all the small things. So it really is like, you know, you recognize what your talents are and you find the thing that you love doing. It's possible for you. And really I think English is a door for you to get to where you want to be. This is why, you know, this is why we do what we do. Because we know that we can actualize ourselves not just in terms of communication, but also in terms of our passion and what we want to do. So anyway, thanks Sergey. I did not forget you this time. And even, even if I have, I hope I made it made it up for you. Okay, so yes, I wish I could be like him too. And you know what, what brought him here? Just showing up. Consistency, doing the work, not giving up, you know, not getting, not allowing things to bring him down. Even though it wasn't all successful and a lot of mindset work. A lot of mindset work. He can share it with you, but he's definitely put in a lot of. And, and of course, you know, doing everything. And he was an accent makeover students as well, student as well. Okay, that's it. So you guys can stay here in the chat. If you need more help, post your goals in the group and I will see you probably in the lessons in the sneak peek. Take a break from me a little bit. You can watch it tomorrow. You have a week. There is a timeline, there is a timer there. So you'll know exactly how much time you've left for the sneak peek. Thank you so much my friends. I'll see you tomorrow at the same time at 9am EST, tea with a group of incredible people who are going to inspire you completely. Take care and I'll see you soon.
