How to pronounce the word mirror. I know this word can be confusing because of all the different R's. And what do you do with the O in between? But don't worry, I'm gonna make it easy for you. The first part is simple. It's an M sound and the E as in sit me, just like mix or mission. Then we have R schwa. R for the R. You round your lips, pull the tongue in. And then a schwa sound is a relaxed sound. But. But when the schwa is in between two Rs, basically it becomes like a very small R. Or it just connects the two R's together. And this is how it sounds. It's kind of like you're lifting the tongue up for 1R, dropping it and lifting it back again for the second R. Now it should sound like this. Mirror, mirror. But usually when people speak fast, they just end up merging the two Rs. Mirror. Look in the mirror. Mirror.
