A short YouTube pronunciation tutorial by Hadar Shemesh explaining how to pronounce the English word "order." The speaker demonstrates mouth and tongue positions for the initial "or" vowel, the flap D (like the T in "betty"), and the R sounds, and notes stress on the first syllable; offers simpler alternatives if the flap D or trilled R are difficult.

How to pronounce the word order. I know this word is a little intimidating, but stick with me and it's going to be easier. You start with the or as in for so drop your jaw around your lips just a bit and then pull the tongue in slightly until the sides of the tongue touch the sides of the teeth for the R or then you thrust your tongue against the upper palate for a light D or R and then back in for the R. So so the tongue pulls back for the R, R goes forward for a very light D and then you pull it back in for the R. Now the flap D is just like the flap T as in the word betty, just like the trilled R in Spanish or Russian or Arabic. But if it's hard for you, you can just pronounce it as a regular D or duration order. Just make the first r a little longer because that's the primary stress order.
